Hi Jade! Thank you for this tutorial! I'm stuck in a dead end, cause i'd like to buy a groovebox/creative thing for composing music and generative music to use when performing live. I was wondering about the Roland Sh4d, but this Mpc keys 37 got me in trouble again. I'm a synth guy, and I'm a newbie on grooveboxes. Have you got some kind of advice? Thanks :)

I think all you youtubers got me brainwashed because I reeeaally want one of these now. Hahaa. As much as I'd ABSOLUTELY LOVE a Push 3, the keys and sequencing all in one unit is a pretty big deal. Especially at less than half the price.

If you use ableton get a push. If you use other daws or dawless then id get the mpc keys. I have push 3. Absolutely amazing. It does have some short comings but it will be ironed out in future firmware updates. I love my push. But i also love ableton
@@joeymc5272 I've honestly been torn on this. I actually really do love Ableton. It's my favorite music creation environment that I've ever used in my 21 years of producing. Luckily a friend of mine let me borrow his MPC One today and I'm gonna see if I can get down with the MPC workflow after having tried it a couple years ago and ditching it for Ableton and Push 2.
@@joeymc5272 Overall, I do think the Push 3 is better for me (and in general haha) but I'm borrowing a friend's MPC One just to reacquaint myself with the MPC method and I'm actually enjoying it 🤔 But ultimately the Push 3 might win the battle. I've got a few months to decide haha. Thanks for your input, for real!
Nice Jam. Does it feel different than using the mpc one with an external key controller like the arturia 37 or 32? I know that the keys are bigger and as there is a keyboard it might be a more compelling and immediate experience.

@JAdeWii_ aww gotcha. Wasn't sure if it was a new scale mode feature or something. 🔥
@@sundalo916 you can use scale mode on sample - just make keygroup and set pad perform to right scale
