      @@TheChrisVella You're quite welcome. I must have watched 50 videos on the key 37 until I found one (this one) that finally put it through its proper paces. Nobody wants to play to keyboard anymore so I can hear how it sounds as a lead. Thankfully, you did.

    You can actually get these plugins as vsts normally on your computer. They’re made by Air Music Tech and they’re pretty mediocre. It has some simple, quick usable stuff, some good synth emulations and sounds, but mostly terrible acoustic and realistic intruments. Of course the guy plays pretty well which makes any sound sound good.

    • @TheChrisVella
      @TheChrisVella  3 місяці тому +3

      The vsts definitely do the job in my experience. I was actually quite surprised that it included plugins I’m already familiar with! And cheers about the playing, I think even for people that don’t play too much can get away with creating some decent tunes on here.

    • @remyvegamedia
      @remyvegamedia 3 місяці тому +1

      I have to agree on the quality of the acoustic emulations. I think the pianos and rhodes are sort of unimpressive. Mostly in comparison to something like my Nautilus. I wouldn't waste my money on their "top level" piano/rhodes/strings. Not only that, they take up a ridiculous amount of the memory. The MPC can handle fine with 2gb of RAM until you bring the Fabric and Studio Strings into the mix. The Stage versions are good enough. Overpriced, still.
      As far as the synths, they're good. If the user understands how synthesis works it's pretty easy to get good sounds out of them. The presets are pretty obnoxious in a lot of cases though haha.

      @@TheChrisVellaThe inbuilt sounds are just samples on rom. Or are they just samples instruments you load?

      Ahh I see, so the sounds I played in this video are actually VST’s that generate the sounds as you can go in and tweak them. But they also have a collection of samples you could use or create a sampled instrument. I believe the sampled instrument is only off a single sample as opposed to multi sampled though.

      @@TheChrisVellaKeygroups are what you call sampled instruments on the MPC and support up to 4 velocity layers per note.

      I believe it’s just a single velocity
