I'm binging these since I'm going to college in Fall :) very nervous and trying to save money since I come from a middle-low income family. But of course I want some good stuff. I plan on making notes and Google Docs to send my roommates (since I matched with them on Please Don't Snore) and we can figure out what we need more immediate and what we want to get in the long run.
loved the vid! i’ll be rewatching this summer before i go to college. ahhh one more month till the UC decisions are out. also loved the differ camera angles for each item you talked about :))
this video is top quality!! so many of these things i would have never thought of, like the color-changing desk light omg! so useful but not at all obvious. 10 out of 10, another great video, tysm!
Summary: kitchen utensils like spatulas and stuff you can find in your moms kitchen drawer(silicon recommended), frother, mugs, plates and cups, good knife set, wine glasses, clear bins for clear fridge organization, hand vacuum or vacuum, heat pad, fan, thin clothing hangers, space cubes, long usb charger, bed risers(for storage under bed), power strips!!!! Extension cords! HDMI cord and projector, smart home speaker, high/standing desk, led desk lamp, couch(SOFA BED OR FUTON!!!), coffee table, candles or essential oil diffusers, key holder(works for light jackets to), house slippers, shelf organization, I’d recommend getting a printer too
@@AngelicaSong Ahh You replied!! :D Also I have a video suggestion: If possible, can you maybe do a video with advice from an older transfer student? (As I am one myself :) I don't see those videos often on youtube! Thanks!
Might not be going to college (don't know if that train has left the station yet, but I am not on it ATM), but I am moving to my first apartment (that I am not sharing with other people, so it's all mine!) soon and it is even rent-free (you heard that right! It belongs to family and they aren't charging me)...so yeah, hit me with the tips :) Yeah, an air-frier is on the list already...I simply like fried things and I hate the regular friers with the oil in them etc. disgusting! Hm...I am odd here, I prefer metal mugs (you can drop them and they will not shatter, mostly they wont even have dents in them!) :) Oh and a microwave-oven! No home is complete without one IMHO (just too handy to have, yes cook yourself whenever possible, but sometimes it isn't so frozen-dinner it is or something re-heated!)
The frist thing I noticed I didn't have but needed was a GOOD knife I had butter knifes but in getting all the other stuff I forgot what am I going to chop my veggies also chopping board and colander and get a good knife cause my frist one tarnished also I use my mugs for ice cream cause other wise I would not portion control according to the carton also GET A SHOWER DRAIN SHROOM I have long ass hair and college showers get clogged really easily which can be a breeding ground for bugs
air fryer is a life changer for college students who don’t know how to cook for their lives aka me 😅
