Sean Combs said, "I dare you." Cassie replied, I'm not afraid of you any more!" Just like that the abuser lost his breath, his bravado, his machismo and folded. I'm very happy for her. Now she never has to be abused in court by defense lawyers and other women have been warned. It's a win, win.

Ladies, please beware of men who are defending Diddy. These men can often relate to the horrible things Diddy did to Cassie and so many other women and they see themselves in him so they choose to take his side instead of questioning why so many women in Diddy's life have the same story to tell. Take note of these types of men.

I truly appreciate your commentary. As a survivor of abuse who watched the state offer a plea bargain to my abuser, I know how hard it is to not receive justice the criminal route. It is so difficult to get justice the civil route when your abuser isn’t wealthy or you can’t afford an attorney. If I could have, I would have taken a settlement if offered. It’s about the victim feeling some sort of justice when it seems impossible

Why is it that when a woman is subjected to something like this, that people feel it is a cash grab? If those things were done under threat to her career, or she is subjected to that abuse? If she breaks free and wants compensation for those damages, and she can prove what she alleges, if both parties agree to the settlement, it is just their agreement, period. If he feels she is unable to prove what she alleges, he has the opportunity to have his day in court, just as she is. Obviously, neither party wants to go through a court battle that would be embarrassing and likely damaging for both of them. If they choose to settle outside of a court of law with neither agreeing that the allegations from either side are truthful or accurate. I would not as a woman, want the humiliation that is thrown at a victim. I would much rather settle.

She got the allegations out there for everyone to be able to read it. So why are people pressed because she gained money while at it?

I heard on a couple of other YT channels that things unfolded like this... Cassie didn't accept Diddy's offer of the $30 million. The amount she initially asked is not mentioned. Which could explain the possibility of receiving a 9 figure amount.
In fact I heard she was going to release a "tell all book". I don't know if this is true, nor do I know if he was given an alternative to 'compensate' Cassie monetarily.
Also, like R.Kelly, Diddy's conduct has been an 'open secret' for years!!!
I heard it's not within Cassies ability to pursue criminal charges. That is a decision that has to be made by a prosecutor.
As for her timing, her opportunity to file this civil suit was running out. NYS has extended the statue of limitation for victims to seek compensation and it expires very soon.
There is another rumor I heard. The NYPD is possibly investigating Diddy. A statement was put out by NYPD saying this is erroneous information. That statement has very odd wording to me.
Am I correct in thinking that cops are not prohibited from being untruthful or misleading during investigations? If so, its premature and presumptious to think Sean Combs will elude criminal charges.
This civil suit probably opens the door to a decision to prosecute him criminally.

to the person who said Diddy paid her to get rid of the case. Not true. He is famous for being stingy and refusing to pay people no matter how much they embarrass him for stealing from them. He suspiciously gave his artists their publishing rights a few months ago and everyone was suspicious because it was so against his grain, only to find out that it was under the condition of them signing an NDA to have access to their works. A few of them turned down their rights just for a chance to speak against him if a large platform offered them the chance.

Knowing that Diddy is not a very recommendable honest person, I wonder if she settled fast because he threatens her, and take the money to solve this case is her best choice for her safety and her loved safeties??
I am very uncomfortable with people, with no knowledge and details of this case, judge it as a Cash Grab, does it mean then that women can't sue powerful wealthy men? it's already surely difficult for abused women to sue the abuser, especially if he is well known, but here with those judgements based only on one's feelings, dont we push the victims not to sue and live with the pain and suffering for the rest of their lives? I am very uncomfortable with that.

I have some of her songs on my playlist. Like “Me & U”, the lyrics of the song are pretty salacious. I’m not surprised, but as her manager he should’ve kept it business.
