The most epic sequence for me in Assassin's Creed is Altair's passing in Relevations and as the camera swoops around to see Ezio finally looking at the Isu disc, the music just sweeps in and damn. That really told me what Assassin Creed was on that day.
Loved this! The treasurer mission in Mirage was really fun and memorable to me as well. Of all the assassinations in the game it probably felt most like classic Assassin's Creed!
I love how Ezio was singing about gravity, a word that was first documented exactly at the start of the 16th century when AC Revelations was taking place
I think the Vinland arc in Valhalla is great because of how it changes the gameplay and exploration by leaving Eivor without any sort of Mount or horse, and how you go on infiltrating Kjotve’s Camps to find information on his whereabouts and also using Mohawk gear and weapons was a great change of phase
It’s a great tie-in to III, since you retrieve the orb and reject accessing the Temple, Conner later using the orb and Team Desmond accessing the Temple (for a climax not unlike Valhalla’s, where the modern day protagonist ends up sacrificing themselves as a pawn in an Isu’s plan).
You completely forgot the modern day missions with Desmond is Assassin's Creed III. I'm sorry him diving off that tower and Shaun messing with him was awesome. Not to mention him offing Vidic. There was a certain amount of satisfaction in getting rid of him. Those missions was something everyone wanted: Desmond acting like an actual assassin in his own body and we only got a sliver of it but that little bit was actually entertaining even if it wasn't enough.
As much as i hate the optional objectives in AC3, The war missions ignoring the optional stuff were some of the best in the series. Connor is just so ruthless and don't give a f*** and it makes him so fun to play as. I especially loved assissination targets on the boats.
I enjoyed AC3 too. I really liked the homestead missions, being able to craft different things by using the lumberjacks and carpenter you can sell for a decent profit, opening up trade routes etc. I think they should have used the same system for Ravensthorpe in AC Valhalla. It just made the whole economy interesting instead of just the usual buy and sell from merchants. 👍
My favorite sequences are in pretty much all the games: When you kill a high value target to progress the story, the world stops and breaks down into an "Animus void" where it's just you and the target. Your targets talk with you and reveal who they are why they did what they did. They're basically exposition dumps in their last moments, but they do give insight into who they were annd what they believed in.
i really love the sequence of the treasurer in Mirage! Thanks for sharing it with the community! I really love this game and i hope a lot of fellow AC players love it too because i dont see many talking good about it
Been watching your content for a While and I got to say, Wow. You are explaining things so well and making me and others more invested in your videos. Keep up the good work!
idk about orgins but odyssey does have 'sequences' but they're called chapters and the game does announce when you go to a new chapter. I only knew I was at the next chapter because a trophy would pop on my PlayStation telling me that i finished the chapter
I totally agree with the Odyssey choice. It’s a shame there weren’t assassination missions but the moment you chose definitely gets me emotional. If I had to choose a favorite target from Odyssey it would probably be Chrysis, the woman who raised Deimos and leaves a baby to die to distract Kassandra from killing her. I also like the missions leading up to her. Investigating the sanctuary of Asklepios and slowly unearthing that there’s some twisted things happening in the temple.
Also the sequence with blowing up the chain, which was blocking ezios ship to I think it was cappadocia. The mission with jumping over the burning ships is one of my favorite missions in the series
Mirage had a bunch of great individual assassinations. Getting to kill The Slaver the same way Price kills Makarov in COD was awesome. So was the doctor and the one you listed.
The sequence with Maxwell Roth is probably one of my favorites in the series. Just so entertaining with how batshit insane he is and the set piece in the theatre house is one of the best locations in the series. The Scarab assassination was one of my favorites too. Stealth killing him was so satisfying and i actually felt kind of bad seeing his family's reaction to his death. I also liked the set of events leading up to killing the Hyena. The investigation type missions where you find clues and piece information together quickly became some of my favorites in the series. Revelations once again does what i felt other games should have took from Liberations. Adding to social stealth by having disquises for some missions. The songs Ezio played were so entertaining as well. Speaking of Liberation, i have 2 favorite sequences. Sequence 8 where you team up with Connor and the sequence you kill a target at a plantation party disquised in the lady outfit. The missions in both sequences were just alot of fun.
My favourite sequence from AC1 is most definitely the first. I love seeing the assassins do the iconic leap of faith, the hubris of altair and his development as a person. Also it was the first game I played that wasn’t directly marketed at children so it has a special place in my heart
Heya, a small detail for Taharqa. Before the attack at Letopolis, he offers us a drink which is poisoned. A worker comes running in to warna bout the attack, he purposely bumps into Bayek to make him drop the drink and even looks at him for a second. Lovely foreshadowing for what was gonna happen.
The Hyena and the Crocodile were interesting targets in AC Origins as well. The Hyena you can sympathsize with and the Crocodile there was the plotline with Shadya plus I think it involved a gladiator fight with another partner against two enemies.
I feel like in AC4, the sequence where he starts by making amends is somewhat cathartic to see Edward finally grow... Its gonna be the best sequence of the game for me atleast.
Idk what sequence but my fave mission in Ac3 is the one where you fight haytham in the fort where you kept getting fired upon by canons it’s the one right before you finally go after Charles lee
Hmm my list would be Memory Group 5 in AC1, Memory Sequence 7, where you meet the Thieves of Venice in Ac2, ACB is Sequence 4 the start of Recruiting and taking back Rome, ACR is Sequence 6, AC3 is Sequence 9 Connor and Haytham meeting, AC4 is the final sequence, Edward Coming full circle and joining the Assassins, AC Rogue is Sequence 6, ACU is Sequence 13 Dead Kings was so fun, ACS was sequence 5, ACO was the Crocodile target, I've never had so much delight in killing a Target before, Odyssey(its not an AC game) was the Mykonos questline, AC Valhalla was the Siege of Paris questline, and for ACM it was the Assassination of Al-Rabisu
I have a suggestion for you, how about best supporting character in each AC game? For example, if I made the list, I would say Barnabas for AC Odyssey. You could do worst too... which is probably for me, Stentor. He's so annoying...
I once had an odd thought. Who would be best suited to Assassinate Ezio. And after some thinking it occurred to me that it would be La Voulpe. Since that guy is basically stealth personified. He could do it. But thank goodness they were both good friends. And that Ezio was consistently loyal to the Assassin Brotherhood.
my fav sequence from any game was in ac syndicate when jacob just breaks the train roof window and assasinated pearl attaway coz she is sister of starick
Can you do a video on every major historical figure in the games or from the lore and let us know if they were associated with the templars or assasins?
well technically, there are sequences in the newer games, they just aren't emphasized as much. the memory blocks and/or sequences are only emphasized in the achievements such when you finish that granted sequence. Not hating on the video or anything, love the work and opinions you put into them. I like how you added the newer games anyway because you acknowledge that some people like them more than you might do.
It's strange how they spelt certain areas. I live in Shropshire but they called it Schiropschire. To be fair though some of the areas on the map do actually exist, the Wrekin, stiperstones, Wenlock etc are real places.
I’d say: AC 1: never played AC 2: Sequence 9 Brotherhood: Agree with you Revelations: haven’t played enough AC 3: agree with you Black Flag: Sequence 11 (when Edward changes) Unity: the escape from the bastille sequence Rogue: the sequence when Shay leaves the assassins Syndicate: Sequence 7 The RPG series just kind of blends together Mirage: killing Qbiha
Great list! Can you replay missions in mirage btw? I'm planning on getting it but im just getting as much info on the replay value and stuff before taking the plunge to get it.
hey so i have a quick but rather an important question so i have finished playing the ezio trilogy and i want to jump into 3 but i fear that playing those games back to back may cause burnout so what should i do ?
Unpopular Opinion: The term “hidden one” (Origins/Mirage/Valhalla) means more to me than “assassin.” Assassin basically says“unalive them, doesn’t matter how.” But Hidden One says “No matter how it’s done, they should never see me coming.”
25.30 The hate for Odyssey is too much 😂 there are some great story lines within Odyssey that are clearly marked as episodes. I’d say my favourite episode in the main story line to get our home in Sparta back is the one with Lagos the Archon, it’s short but the shock to step into arkadia and have 3 star wanted rating was crazy and to find a cultist that is coerced into serving the order and can be saved through reasoning was a twist for me.
@@TheHiddenOne690It’s easier to list your criticisms given in this video than positives, for what you admit is a short segment. And it’s the Cult of Kosmos for the base game, the Order of the Ancients is in the Legacy of the First Blade DLC.
But Jacob Frye got married to a woman and had a daughter. That’s who you play as in the ww1 sequences. So either Roth is the gay one or Jacob is bi EDIT: yes Jacob is Bisexual
Hey fun fact after you find that guy that cheated on ezios sister in revelations if wander around the map you could find him drunk beside a fountain and you can beat him up
Gotta disagree with your opinion on Unity's flashback scenes during assassinations. They made it really feel like Arno was solving a mystery and finding out the truth behind M. de la Serre's murder. Really fit the grim setting as well instead of having the Templars just tell Arno he'll die soon or something
Was Jacob gay? I always thought it was just Roth and he was trying to have a sort of last laugh before he died, and that’s why Jacob looked so disgusted. Cool detail if Jacob is actually gay though
Jacob is officially confirmed to be bisexual not gay. But he ended up marrying a woman since you play as his granddaughter in AC Syndicate. There's an animus glitch through which you're transported into ww1 and play as Lydia Frye. I thought at first she's Evie's kid or grandkids because she very much looks like Evie but the database says she's Jacob's granddaughter
