Shows the problem but not the solution. I had this problem too, and my coach basically has me dropping the ball on the first step, not a push away on the first step. Helps a lot.
fred esoteric YES. This would help if you have late timing like I had. I moved back on approach and now do VERY short push away on first step. Then just drop ball on second. My timing improved right away. More speed, accuracy and leverage now.
I guess i just found out my cure since i have all the symptoms. Gotta admit, I feel kinda weird finding something so important on this video that I just watched out of curiosity. I predict a slump for at least 3 weeks after i make this change.
I'm not sure but ,if anyone else wants to uncover indoor bowls shoes ladies try Berts Bowls Guide (should be on google have a look ) ? Ive heard some interesting things about it and my mate got cool success with it.
You mention 4 steps but the girl at minute 3.03 is clearly starting with the left foot and taking a 5 step approach. Unless when you say 4 you mean 4 steps then a slide...
Whether in a 4 or 5 step approach the push away still occurs with the ball side foot. A 5 step approach just adds a "nothing" step as Fred Borden would say. Some are more comfortable with this as it puts the body in motion to set the tempo for the push away.
Everybody is different. No one does everything exactly by the book. The most important thing is to do it the same way every time. That's the way it's always been. That's the way it will always be.
Hello Sarah, I appreciate your feedback and I will forward it along to the proper department. Your comments are important and help with the development of our online streaming community! Thanks!
Idiotic video ,men and women have exactly the same problems bowling. ( i'm a fella). The only difference is that ( some ) men are able to get a reasonable pin count by pure strength bowling badly. If you want to see smooth easy bowling watch the best women bowlers.

They do kegel training at the bowling alley?
omg my 117 game became a 185 first time out! Thank you
Its great to see Randy and Steven working together to better the game
I notice that her ball moves on the first step of a five step approach. Please elaborate!!!
Where are you Located
Diandra Asbaty, winner of 2 pro titles, one of the greatest women bowlers of all time? No doubt about it??
I don't get these sexist comments. This coach handeled it super tactfully
CAn you push away on the first step of a 5 step approach?

basically, women start off with the opposite foot instead of the same side you hold the ball
i think it depends on how many steps in your delivery, 3,4 or 5. i do 3 steps and left handed so my first step is with the right foot.
What’s this dude talking about?
Can we watch her do kegels?
I'm a guy but I play like a little girl is vid ok for me?
I don’t feel like this was a tip at all.

So only a man can coach...
So basically women suck at bowling except the ones that are very exceptional and rare
Hmm, let's see. Four step bad, five step good! Tell that to Diandra Asbaty, Shannon O'Keefe, Liz Johnson, Danielle McEwan, Sean Rash, Parker Bohn 3.
So👤💐
