Not especially full or warm. Rather dull at times
Over emphasis on highs
I keep turning volume up to hear bass, but then highs irritate
Lack of vocal clarity and warmth
Seems to be a dip around 250Hz
Improved with EQ (I recommend Treb -3, Mid 0, Bass +1)
Definitely a bit funky without the EQ

Thoughts on the new intro?
EDIT: There is no battery drain issue. I tested extensively and it appears that the reason the battery kept dying on me is because it just has a really really short battery life. 15 hrs isn't much!

The microphone is very good. One of the best especially for noisy environments. You can hear the voice come through very well.
Great video. Prime day has it at $79 for base and $99 for wireless charger. The new Sonys are tempting but man for the feature set (I'm deep in Amazon echo-system) and then the price this is a hard one to pass.
For me it's one of my loudest earbuds and I have too many to remember. The good ones too. The Sennies, B&O, Bose, ect...
I get good bass, very loud, and above average anc and hearthrough.

Thanks Mike. Cool coverage as always. Reference the intro. If I maybe be honest? I know you use a light touch style but it really stuck out to me that you should have just had a couple more seconds longer and just flashed some channel branding up very briefly. Branding has to be present, even on the lightest of editing styles I believe?
Reference the buds, I am always buying new ones and always interested but I have no use for Alexa or Bixby, or Huawei's crazy new lady on a watch. Lol. 5 hours is a heart breaker when I am used to the double that with my Sammy Galaxy Buds+.
I wonder if we will ever see the day that when we use only one big then that buds controls will become dynamic and offer us full, or just more control over basic features rather than losing half of the controls to the bud sat in the dock? I know it's s tricky problem but we can buy dream eh?

Intro.. For a pro channel w high end content, I think you should skip it. At the end of the day people click on the vid because of YOU and/or the ITEM and ofc the quality info you consistently provide. A very short 2-3 sec beat + greeting / name. Clean. Good lighting, audio, content. The rest is just..
I couldn't get these to stay in my ears. I tried all the buds and the wing tips and nothing gave me better than a "fair" fit test, and even then they wouldn't stay in with me just sitting still. I guess I have freakish ears? The return process was easy at least. Hopefully the next gen will work better for me, or maybe they'll make some that go over the ear.
the echo buds are actually available for almost half the price in different countries, for example it translates to just 60 dollars in india
Are these better than Pixel Buds 2? They're cheaper and have ANC, just not sure which to buy (have Pixel phone)

I’m Currently using one plus buds Z which I bought when they were on sale just to try them out then they been OK . Who is my first pair of wireless so I wanted to see whether the sound was good enough with music and it’s OK so I think I’m ready to upgrade to a better one
Pixel buds 2 have been out for a long long time. Don't buy them I promise this isn't like a freak issue either... most everyone found they disconnect and chop out audio plus de sync constantly. Google discontinued them and thats why they are hard to find. They are garbage but God I wish they worked bc otherwise they rock the features like mad. Just save yourself

Well I think it mostly uses the Alexa app and your phone's sensors to track. I haven't used that feature because you need to give Alexa a lot of permissions

I don't think you can compare them. Echo buds are meant as daily driver cheap earbuds; like galaxy buds and sound cores. Sonys XM4s are supposed to compete with $300+ earbuds like Bose and Senhiser.
If you have the money and want some of the best earbuds on the market, get the Sony XM4s. Not even a question.
You can be assured that the sound of this echo buds can be compared to the more expensive branded earbuds, but build quality, features, ANC ,and other aspect of it might clearly be not comparable

Guys, what earbuds would you recommend? I tried Buds+ last year and the sound quality was meh, I liked their design tho
Are buds pro much better in terms of audio quality?

I had the Buds+ for almost a year and I recently switched to the Buds Pro. I feel like the Pro's sound profile sounds more flat, brighter and more controlled. Comparing side by side the Pros have definitely brighter vocals and I prefer them over the Buds+. I suggest trying them out first before purchasing but that's easier said than done.
Comfort wise, for me, the Buds+ are so much more comfortable. But the Pros are still comfy enough for me.
The Pros definitely have a more expensive sound profile, but the difference in features is reason only to upgrade.
Especially for the Voice Activation which is extremely useful
I'd wait for a bit because there are some new models upcoming, which means that there will be better tech on the market and past gen models will go down in price.
The next Sony earbuds as well as the next gen of galaxy buds is set to release soon for example.
They sound better. The calls on extreme situation are great, etc. But the fall of your year. I loved them but I replaced them.
Need to know if the XM4 have better ANC than the Bose QC :D

That is a tough budget. I made a "best budget earbuds" video and there were some good ones around $60. I recommend checking out that video!

Thanks for the review, but judging from the features and sound quality of which you articulated in this video I believe there are much better options out there at half the price. The Tronsmart Apollo Bold and the Earfun Free Pro are good examples.
I would check them out. I was not expecting these to be this good. You name it I either have it, or had it. These are above average in every category to me except for battery. I would like to see more juice.

Do not believe a word of this review you can only look at the reviewers who bought them 10% gave only 1 star. They are so locked down you have to use their app to play audio will not allow you to use other apps. They are so locked down with DRM impossible to use.
These literly look like Samsungs Galaxy Buds, aside from the case.
