    MY Word! First, although I am over 60 y/o, I have just now discovered my inner baker. Today I came across this recipe on your channel looking for something else. Since I love garlic and cheese, I just had to try out this recipe, even though I was skeptical. These came out just perfect on my first try! Thank you for sharing this recipe. May I suggest that those who think the dough is too wet, use a Danish dough hook for "kneading," keep at it b/c the texture will become smooth and silky. Resist the urge to add more flour--this dough turn out such a lovely textured roll. Now I will surf the rest of the channel. Thank you again!

      Hi..+mscmschultz, wow you are super amazing..! You must be have hidden baking talent without you knowing it :) You're right, my dough is very soft and sticky, different from classic dough. But it will make the bread soft and fluffy. Thanks very much for sharing your thoughts with us, big appreciate :)

      I do have a question: do you oil the pan? I oiled mine, but I would like to try without, if the rolls won't stick. I would also like to add that ordinarily, I don't like videos for instruction, but in your case you keep it moving, post notes and don't engage in chatter. I appreciate that the visual cues help in regard to what the texture of dough during various stages should look and feel like. When I made these rolls tonite, I had the video up as I was making them. BTW, there's only 3 left.......

      TY; do u think this recipe can be doubled or tripled? a single recipe just will not do, b/c i bake for hubby's work place, as well as mine. (Everyone looks forward to a Miss K8's Famous Triple Meyer Lemon Bundt Cake.)

    I just baked it and had it with my family for dinner . Everyone loved it. It is just Out Of This World. So soft and melt in the mouth . Instead of the butter I spread some pizza sauce, Italian herbs and cheese. Thank you sooo much for sharing and demonstrating your art.

      Maria,
      Ingredientes do Scallions do pão do queijo:
      125ml (1/2 xícara) de leite morno
      25g (2 colheres de sopa) de açúcar fino
      3g (1 colher de chá) de fermento instantâneo
      1 ovo grande, batido 2
      50g (2 xícaras) de farinha de trigo
      3g (1/2 colher de chá) de sal fino
      42g (3 colheres de sopa) de manteiga sem sal
      Farinha extra para lidar com a massa
      100g de queijo cheddar picado (1 chávena), para recheio e cobertura.
      42g (3 colheres de sopa) de manteiga macia + 1 colher de sopa de cebolinha picada + 1/2 colher de chá de alho em pó (cebolinha / manteiga de alho) para o recheio.
      Ovo batido para lavar ovos (você não vai usar tudo).
      Método:
      Em uma tigela: leite quente, açúcar, fermento. Mexer.
      Adicione o ovo, farinha, sal. Misture rapidamente e adicione a manteiga macia. Misture até apenas combinado.
      Mexa ou misture por cerca de 5 minutos até formar uma massa lisa, macia e pegajosa.
      Cubra por 90 minutos no lugar quente. A massa será muito macia e pegajosa.
      Coloque na superfície de trabalho com um pouco de farinha para manipular a massa. Dobre e forme uma bola.
      Divida em 10 partes. Forme uma pequena bola. Alise a massa no sentido do comprimento.
      Espalhe um pouco de manteiga de cebolinha na massa e acrescente o queijo ralado.
      Role a massa para cobrir o recheio em uma forma oval / pães.
      Alise a última massa em uma forma redonda, coloque o recheio e forme uma bola.
      Use uma assadeira redonda ou uma panela de pizza, arrume os pãezinhos de 9 peças ao redor da borda e coloque a última bola de massa no meio. Cubra por 30 minutos.
      Lavagem de ovos Slash cada massa com uma faca afiada / lâmina. Revelando um pouco do recheio.
      Cubra com o queijo restante ralado.
      Asse a 180 ° C (350 ° F) por 20 - 25 minutos. Até dourar e crocante do lado de fora. o queijo em cima forma uma crosta agradável.

      مكونات :

      دقيق إضافي للتعامل مع العجين
      100 جم (1 كوب) جبنة شيدر مبشورة ، للتعبئة والتعبئة.
      42 جرام (3 ملاعق كبيرة) من الزبدة الناعمة + ملعقة كبيرة من البصل الأخضر المفروم + 1/2 ملعقة صغيرة من الثوم (البصل الأخضر / زبدة الثوم) للتعبئة
      ضرب بيضة لغسل البيض (لن تستخدمها كلها)

    Fui olhando os ingredientes da receita e fiz de acordo com as medidas. Perfeito. Massa maravilhoso. Fiz o recheio com 4 queijos e acrescentei ortelā e paprica picante na hora de pincelar com o ovo. Simplesmente perfeito. Estou pensando em fazer pra vender.

    Ninik, I made this recipe today for my family coming for a few hours. Our greatniece stays with us for a week.

    I remember years ago I use to go down on Canal street n shop. I had special stores I went for my favorite things like scallion patties off the dollar cart n almond cookies umm mouth watering. No where can beat their fish markets! That scallion recipe looks like a lot of work. Enjoy

    Thanking you so very much for answering and explaining.Can I use then just the All Purpose Flour as it is or do I have to take out two tablespoons of the flour 30 Grams and replace it with two tablespoons of cornstarch I5 Grams. My recipe calls for I60 Grams of cake flour .If I take out 30grams and add 15 grams cornstarch. It would only make the quantity 145 grams so it a little confusing.What do you think.     I just had to watch this video again, it's so satisfying to watch the dough respond to how you handle it 😄. I wonder if using bread flour would result in a less fluffy dough? If so, I'll just go pick up some AP flour. I wouldn't think self-rising flour would work in this recipe, but they are the two flours I have on hand currently.

      +Virginia Valentin, what a lovely comment :) using bread dough will be great as well as using AP flour. I don't recommended to use self-rising flour (good for cake). Thanks so much

    Thank you! I will have this on the table, this new years in March.. problem is, I hope I can make enough . Can it be frozen, before baking, with the stuffing(cheese and herb butter) in it?

      Thanks very much, I hope it will work well. It can be frozen after shaping and stuffing. Thaw the night before in the fridge and let it warm again at room temperature before baking.

    Hi, i love your videos! I watched a couple of bread videos but could not understand the differences in the making process. Sometimes, the dough is roughly kneaded in the bowl then left to proof. Other times, the dough is kneaded into a smooth ball on a surface then left to proof. Will this difference affect the bread in any way? For me, kneading it in the bowl is the best because i do not have a proper surface to knead by hand, so my bread may not always achieve the window pane elasticity. Hence i'm wondering if kneading in the bowl for a while will be a good 'shortcut' for me. Thank you!

      Thanks for watching my videos. Yes, there are many methods to make the dough. Kneading in a large bowl will work too, don't worry about that. All methods will work.
      The windowpane test required a kneading process you can do by hands on the surface or in a large bowl or using a stand mixer with a dough hook.

    This is now a favorite... Initially it was dry and shaggy, so I added a tiny bit more milk. Then I don't have the strength to stir it. LOL.... so I went in with my hand to knead it, somehow it was like so so sticky, but it became smooth but sticky after 5 mins or so. Let it rest for 90 mins... turn out with beautiful strands. Baked with the softest and moist bread ever.. still soft and moist even after 2 days!

    Where do you get all the ideas from ? Inspiration ? You are such a talented baker and very, very creative. You can be so proud of what you are doing. You inspire people doing a wonderful hobby, which is very much fulfilling in any ways !!! It's a hobby, which can't be hung on the wall or put on a table. You can eat it, you have to eat it, because it is so yummy !!!

      Muchas gracias, la receta en español agregada a continuación para usted. Después de salir del refrigerador, deje que se caliente a temperatura ambiente antes de hornear. Disfruta horneando! 😊
      Pan de queso
      Ingredientes:
      125 ml (1/2 taza) de leche tibia
      25 g (2 cucharadas) de azúcar fina
      3 g (1 cucharadita) de levadura instantánea
      1 huevo grande, batido
      250 g (2 tazas) de harina para todo uso
      3 g (1/2 cucharadita) de sal fina
      42 g (3 cucharadas) de mantequilla suave sin sal
      Harina extra para manejar la masa
      100 g (1 taza) de queso cheddar rallado, para relleno y cobertura.
      42 g (3 cucharadas) de mantequilla blanda + 1 cucharada de cebollín picado + 1/2 cucharadita de ajo en polvo (cebollín / mantequilla de ajo) para rellenar
      Huevo batido para lavar huevos (no lo usarás todo)
      Para los métodos, mira el video.
      NOTA para mis medidas:
      1 taza de harina para todo uso = 125 gramos
      1 taza de leche / agua = 250 ml

      Smita Ghosh, thank you! about the paper pan, that was for once use only and I have forgotten the size. But this wasn't crucial, you can use any baking pan available and arrange the dough into a circle. The length of the rolls is just simply divided the dough into 10, there is no particular length for this, feel free to adjust. My recipes are flexible :)
