Love this color! The product looks amazing. I've never had success with multiple layers. It peels off in almost a full sheet. I usually have to choose between a base or topper.

Green is my favorite color, has been since I was a kid. That dark color green, hunter, forest, the dark ones! Is everything! Totally beautiful! It does look good on you, so yea..your a green girl now just like I turned into a pink girl this year which blew me away but gotta roll with what the universe decides is your next adventure. 😂

Love your videos! I believe I heard you recommend in a video, use builder gel over chunky glitter. Do you think the rubber base coat over chunky glitter would work?
I'm pretty sure I'm a victim "Dip flu", but didn't connect it until I watched this video. I get "it" after I've done my nails, but never connected the two. Away, I've invested a bit in different dip powders and wanted to know if they can be used with the Sassy Mouth gel top & base products. I would hate to have to go back to the salon to get my nails done, since I'm very comfortable where I'm at now with my nails. Any help is greatly appreciated
From what I understand you can use any brand for the gel method.. I'd say check here on you tube for another gel method tutorial and see what they use.. honestly I think everyone uses brands that they like or whatever they have.. so keep your dip powder Sis ❤

That green is gorgeous!! I had no idea I could use gel liquids with dip powder! I will try this from now on because I do get dip flu symptoms from dip liquids. I've never used the gel products before and I recently got some to try and my question is: do I have to use a cleansing solution at the very end, or will using alcohol work or just wash my hands?
If you’re using a no wipe gel top coat, you can wash your hands! If your gel top cures with a tacky layer, just remove that with alcohol and then wash 🫶🏻

That's a beautiful green! I really like Sassy Mouth, so I'll have to get on ordering. Dip with gel base is my favorite also. Allows as much time as you need to clean the cuticles and sidewalls, and it's so much thinner than dipping.
Any suggestions for those of us who have really short nails and yet also short nail plates? I mean, I'm growing out the last of the damage I got from a salon and I have at least 1/8 inch of exposed skin at the tip. Baby nail plates ☹
I totally agree with you!! And as far as baby nails lol yes! I find it easier to hold your hand in front of you when applying the gel liquids as opposed to having your hand flat on a table. That’ll allow you to pull that skin in front of your nail down and away from the nail to avoid getting gel on the skin. Kind of like how I did it when I capped the free edge with the top coat at the end.

These are beautiful I have a question I just did my mom’s nails using gel liquids with dip powder and I need to fix her gel top coat? Any suggestions? Idk where to start😢
Easy fix! File off the top coat and reapply it ♥️

I'm worried about using gel because of skin damage from the UV. How can you prevent or reduce this damage?
There are UV gloves that you can wear or you can apply sunblock before hand!

Yep that’s exactly what it’s supposed to do! Peel base isn’t intended for long term wear. I usually get a day or 2 wear with peel base
Marla, what is it about these gel liquids that you like over other brands? I tried V&G and they’re too runny in my opinion for the gel method. I’ve been using Triple D, but wouldn’t mind trying a new brand.
It’s totally personal preference. I like a thinner consistency so the nails don’t get too bulky. Also, most gels tend to yellow but these don’t!

Hi do you need to put an activator on this?
If you’re using gel liquids, no activator is needed bc the gel cures in the UV light 🩵
I tried doing the gel method with dip powder over full cover nail tips and couldnt get the gel to set up/dry. It was hema-free gel. Do you have any idea why? I have a good light so I know it was strong enough.
I didn't do this method on my hands...used little stands and intended to glue them on later.
Hey love! Could be a couple issues.. does your lamp have a reflective bottom? I HIGHLY recommend lamps with a silver reflective bottom for complete curing. Also, I tend to cure my gel dip nails for double the time or even triple with dark colors just to ensure they’re fully cured

These are gorgeous but I am just so frustrated. If I used the liquid that come with dip, they come out so lumpy. If I use gel it just looks like layered dust 😢

I thought you said just recently that you are never ever going to use gel on your nails again. ??
Correct. As in to apply semi permanent extensions. That process is extremely risky and I’m not taking my chances. But I have more control over gel liquids just applying them to my nails like this. Plus, I use peel off base coat under my manicures so the gel doesn’t actually touch my nails!
