Also the car she is laying on looks like the roof is crushed from something falling on it, like someone falling from a ledge to the parked car below.

I stood by him through countless rehabs and relapses. After 17 years, I had to walk away for my own sanity. I had to get my children out of all that dysfunction. This song meant so much to me.

Lived it, hard to deal with waking up next to someone after 15 years and 5 kids to realize you don't know them anymore. That was 8 years ago and I still haven't got over her yet
