HIT THE BELL & TELL A FRIEND ABOUT ME. - Розваги
"If I ever saw her, I couldn't look her in the eyes." Dude, I met her in 2004. That's literally what happened. My grown ass self was looking at the ground and stumbling over my words like a 14 year old. Girlfriend at the time roasted me for weeks about it lol.
I'd most likely react the same way. Her presence is intoxicating.
Im 33. If i met her now id be the exact same way probably
@@freddyvelasquez4168 partly because she showed just with this song, that she knows so much, she's so fucking smart, so being in her presence automatically feels like you're less of a person
@@TheTrueAltoClef man you lack in confidence
@@Jerk7891 false idols like a giddy girl
You're correct. She's a classically trained vocalist and piano player, and she layers her harmonies in studio tracks. :-)
It's one the the best things she does. Harmonizing with herself. Singing sometimes 4 or 5 different things layered on top of each other in some songs. She said when they didn't have tons of money it was cheaper for her to do all the parts than to hire other people to do it. It worked and she just keeps doing it because it works so well even today. With her range she can sing all the higher and low harmonies easily. I believe this helped her mess so well singing with out people. helping Hailstorm in her song comes to mind singing back ground vocals. She just perfect filled the background with her voice in that one.
I thought she wasn't actually professionally/classically trained in vocals, only with the piano.
She also makes most of her clothes herself! By reusing stuff taken from thrift stores
Also, octave above or below defines "harmony" :)
She is NOT classically trained! The only training she has had was a movement coach to learn how to move on stage because she originally had issues being in front of a crowd! But, she has not been classically trained!
Not only sounds like an angel, but looks like one too.
In this video Amy Lee never touched the ground because she's supposed to be a ghost.
She is one.
Depends on if you follow renaissance art, or biblical descriptions, because those look demonic. No wonder the first thing angels say is to not be scared
She created the piano melody to the track, she was the pianist of the band. One of the most talented and elegant musicians to grace music.
Everyone raves about Amy Lee, and she deserves all of it. That being said the whole band is absolutely solid.
One of the greatest female vocalists all time.
I may be mistaken, but my interpretation is that she is the one who has passed away.
Her feet never touch the floor, she never interacts with anyone, dressed in white like a ghost... Yet he's in black like he's been to a funeral and forlorn at the piano.......just a thought
i'm not sure if it was ever like confirmed by the band or her but that is the reigning theory that she is actually a ghost and she is the one who has passed away its the guy missing her
@@kbdemonbain4568 Yes, that's exactly the same thing I thought and what she's saying in the song is what is he is thinking and feeling.
she can enchant you with those eyes
Dude, whatever. I've cried listening to this song more than once. The emotion in it is unmistakable.
Dude, whatever. I cried right with you.
This gives me chills. Every. Single. Time.
She has one of the most beautiful voices in my opinion.
I know there's "Try not to laugh" challenges and things along those line with reactors. This song is a "try not to cry" challenge for me. This is one that I can hear over and over, day after day, and I still cry every time without fail.
Me too
next reaction evanescence - wasted on you
The beat drop after the bridge gives me a tingly sensation that this song could be considered ASMR for real!
Yup this song has that same effect on me it's timeless as is Amy!
True dat.. Especially after a couple of glasses of wine. This song allways gets me.
EVERYONE seems to have the same “ALLERGY ISSUES “ with this song.........so “f’ing” beautiful, just perfection! Thanks!🤟✌️
This woman is... spectacular in about every way you can think.
Every time I hear this song I'm in tears before the end.
I’m 62 years old, But I’ve been listening to Evanescence still day one!,,
Amy is the most sweet and smiley person. Check out her interviews. She's been through a lot of tragedy so she is strong for being such a bubbly personality.
well yeah back then she was...
I think we all have allergies listening to this song 😜 Great reaction and huge shout out to your Patreon Evanescence squad requesting these gems. I think you need to do Going Under next, see a bit heavier side of the band. Thanks again for your reaction, you're truly a delight to watch. We're all ready for an Evanescence journey with you. 🤘❤️😘
next reaction evanescence - wasted on you
Maybe he should check out tourniquet 🤔
*Going Under* !
Damn onions 😪❤
Im 45 years old and still got tears in my eyes , when i hear that song
Amy Lee’s Voice is Hauntingly Angelic
This is what we grew up listening to 😊😊
In this video, she is someone who has died and came back as an angel and trying to comfort her love. Notice how her feet never touch the ground.
It seems to make more sense if the lyrics were from the guy's perspective as he is living and she is the spirit....
@@jono8884 I wish I would of highlighted the word "trying" so you could understand.
This song should have been way bigger than it was, like I've yet to hear of anyone listen to it and not be blown away - it's just beautiful.
If it weren't in daredevil I would have never heard it, to have it change my life. I thank daredevil for giving me the gift of hearing Amy's voice for the first time as a child.
I was lucky enough to see this live at a concert. Her voice gives chills and goosebumps its so powerful.
Not only is Amy Lee an accomplished vocalist, she's a hell of a pianist, guitarist and harpist!
She has the most beautiful voice I’ve ever heard!
If she looks like and angel, and she sings like an angel... what is she?
Amy Lee's voice is perfection.
Amy can rip your heart out with her voice. One of my favorite female vocalist of all time.
I love this song it is so beautiful! Lithium is another beautiful song! Bring Me To Life and Going Under and more!
You should react to "Hello" by Evanescence. It's a similarly beautiful song.
I think speak to me comes closer
She’s so perfect in every way.
Lot of memories hearing this one. The piano and her voice match so well
her syntheis live is insane
This song is enough to reduce anyone to a sobbing puddle. It's absolutely beautiful! I'm going to see Evanescence in December, and I am beyond excited!
amy is definitely THE female vocalist of my generation (to me). she has given me goosebumps for years. gorgeous too lol
She’s so talented
Goosebumps and chills down my spine when the drums kick in. Been a good 10 years since I've listened to this and your appreciation for it is great to see. I knew when I clicked this video that you were going to comment on the drum roll.
*Brought tears to my eyes and a lump in my throat when I saw your reaction when those drums hit❤❤❤!*
Thats,why it's called a power ballad
And other songs: Bring me to life, tourniquet, Sober, Lithium that'S on the top of my head. oh and "going under" and "everybody's fool" are classics too
This reaction was awesome to watch live.. even in walmart with the crazies
In the liver performance she plays the piano and sings this centre stage. It's amazing.
Your dissection of this sing was almost as moving as the song itself
Wait for it!! Your be blown away! Yes her eyes and talent will. Blow your mind!
So beautiful and I think she's doing her own harmony
she has a talent for writing harmonies that aren't simply a semitone off, but an entirely different countermelody that compliments and harmonises with the main melody. some great examples are "bring me to life", "weight of the world", "cloud nine", "call me when you're sober", "my last breath", "taking over me", "a new way to bleed", "my heart is broken"
Omg! 1st time I saw the video it was her eyes...they absolutely hypnotic, right?! I feel like if she wanted to, she could level me w/them. She's amazing in every category
She does play the piano
I can't hear this song without crying every time. Especially after my sister died. Her and I listened to evanesence all the time.
She sings very beautifully even when she's live.
My favorite song ♥️🙏🏼♥️
She soooooo talented so beautiful. Love her
Ugh I can’t! Every damn time I hear this song even after all these years I cannot listen to this not cry. It’s heart-wrenching! And so beautiful
Wherever you are, when you hear this it takes you back to a moment in time when you were truly heartbroken.
Her live version of this sounds amazing btw
Love Amy! Beautiful piano skills, and haunting voice. She always delivers. And yes she layers her own vocals.
I really love Evanescence--her vocals and their brand of metal sound great together.
She sang here in Little Rock at Cajuns on the River. Heard her many times. Fabulous.
Will say it again, I get a kick out of you guys seeing/hearing this for the first time. This is a masterpiece and Amy draws you in deeper and deeper as it goes along. By song's end she's got complete control of you. Amy's something else and yes, as many will mention she's a pianist. Super cool and very likable gal...to say nothing of incredibly talented.
All I can say is, thank you! You have no idea how much I needed to hear this band again and remember what their music did for me.
There’s a Live version of this song on YT, she’s playing the piano in that video.
Beautiful voice. Beautiful pianist. Beautiful woman. This is why she was the ultimate crush for many growing up!
Edit: check out Call me when you're sober by Evanescence!
You should react to her song - Good Enough - An even more beautiful vocal performance. Amy at her best.
I heard this song about 3 months after my mom's death from ovarian cancer, It became my song for her. Every line was written for our situation, I was there for her every time she cried, heard her screams when she was dying and held her and supported through out the years. Although she was gone she was very much in my soul and lived in my mind and behind my eyes for years, even to this day 14 years later. "You still have all of me" Always and Forever mom 1950-2007
One of The most beautiful song and beautiful voice I have ever heard.
She is fantastic, but have you heard Floor Jansen of Nightwish sing? She is on another level especially live!
She is beautiful and so talented!!
Yes!!! She is captivating and I’m straight😆
I’m super glad you did the full band version. There’s a version that’s just her and the piano
Just an angel on earth...👼❤
This band and this song in particular got me through a lot in my mid teens. I was so enamoured with her and her voice. I still feel the same way about this song as the first time I heard it. I went to see them play with a live orchestra a few years ago, she sounds exactly the damn same. When she came out on stage and said hello I nearly burst into tears because I couldn't believe she was there and I cried during this song. 💜🖤
Don't know whats more gorgeous her or her voice
Any song from Evanescence is amazing.
I love Evanescence! Amy is one of greatest! ♥️
Saw her live in 08. She is better live. Absolutely gorgeous
Facts man..her eye's are so hypnotic
its crazy its like it lifts your soul when it comes in
I never make it thru this song without #1 goosebumps and #2 tears... Ever...
You have an incredible ear for music. One of my favorite reactions I've seen on UA-cam, and such a musical understanding.
Amy Lee is a goddess, and must be protected. Her presence is intoxicating and empowering all at once in person. Meeting her was one of the most amazing experiences I've ever had.
Not only beautiful, but u can feel all her emotions.
She could elevate a room with her eyes.
Ok bro you got me hooked now. You ain't scared to react to anything! And you notice shit that makes me check myself and wonder how I missed it!!
Amy is playing the piano. Super talented!
Gets my emotions going every time. Thanks for posting this.
that song ALWAYS makes me say GODDAMN!
Like I posted in another reaction to an Amy Lee song,"Amy Lee can rip your still beating heart out of your chest with her song & Prose & hand it back to you with an apology & you will say Thank You with a tear in you eye." She Really REALLY That Good & Yes so is her band.
I love watching people react when those drums kick in. Pure emotional reaction is what that transition is all about. :) You may be hooked now.
Everytime I hear this one my allergies act up to. Try Call Me When Your Sober, oh heck any of it is great.
considering it's about the guy from seether, he HAS to check out that song
Call me when you’re sober is one of my favorites
it can leave u lactose intolerant im told
She does all the vocals in a very artistic way. She alternates between vocalizing and singing a second voice some times in the same verse. I love her tone. Saw her live and she sounds exactly like the track. This song is an eargasm.
Love this song she is an amazing vocalist
This is the band version with the drums, guitars and bass that kick in. She has a solo version that is piano, strings and vocals only. It is ethereal. Evanescence is one of my favorite 2000s rock bands! Tourniquet, Going Under, Imaginary, Haunted, Lithium, Lacrymosa are just a few of the great songs from this band!
Hypnotic eyes. They draw you in
love evanescence.
SO much by Evanescence! "Your Star," - a great rock song with piano and "Call me when you're Sober," (sexy video) are two of my favorites
She was playing that piano in this song these song is so beautiful
She's absolutely stunningly beautiful!
this is one of them songs when we hear it . it reminds us of all the ones we lost that we love . for me its my mom . so the title says it all . because if we remember them they never really die . we miss them but there always with us . until its our time to dip out . and we see them again .
Love ... Love this song!!! And her beautiful voice ♥️♥️♥️
Amazing voice and so beautiful!!
I absolutely love your channel
