I have a 2017 Hyundai Tucson. I went with the Tucson because I wanted AWD. It has been one of the biggest mistakes. The first was getting a Hyundai. They don’t care about their consumers. My car has been blowing headlights- having electrical issues (my auto windows go back down when you roll them up, my rear windshield wipers go off whenever they want, my break light seems to go on and off at random. I have reached out because as a company they should only want the best products out there. I was told that “because my car is over 3 years old. There is nothing they can do for me. To bring it to a dealer and “see what I can get” for it. I owe more than it’s worth because one thing they don’t tell you when you buy a Hyundai is they depreciate way faster than you can make payments to survive. DO NOT BUY A HYUNDAI.

In my opinion the Palisade looks miles better than the KIA and most all the other competitors out there also. The Palisade looks what a professional that wears a suit would drive, the KIA looks like what the guy that owns a blue collar type of business would drive. KIA needs to change that awful cheap looking logo on their badges, I bert they could increase their sales by at least 10% just by doing that. Not looks premium or upscale about a badge with giant block letters spelling KIA.

Kia is actually changing their logo next year, look it up. It looks way better. I do agree with you on the Palisade's looks, especially after seeing it in person. My only gripe is that the daytime running LED is pretty dim, which is definitely noticeable when the sun's bright.

I purchased this car 3 weeks ago and absolutely regret the purchase. The cars "safety features" have nearly caused three accidents in three weeks, the collision avoidance system has slammed on the brakes as I am changing lanes causing the cars behind me to have to slam on their brakes to avoid a pile up. I am still trying to find a way to disable this before it kills my family.
I have already disabled the lane departure system which routinely activates when moving into a right turn lane as it apparently thinks I am going off the road and the car actually tries turn the wheel back into the driving lane.
I have spent over 10 hours on the phone trying to get the Bluelink system working (which never worked from the factory). They just keep passing me back and forth from dealer to bluelink support and now to hyundai engineers who should get back to me in a week. .
The car has an automatic parking break system that engages automatically when you put the car in park. It disengages when you put the car in gear and press on the gas petal., but you need to press on the petal with significant pressure which then causes the car to lurch forward.
Finally twice today the cars automatic transmission wouldn't switch gears automatically as I accelerated. I needed to remove my foot from the petal and coast about 10 seconds before accelerating again.
While this is a new model it is clearly riddled with issues and I have little faith that Hyundai will address them

Among all of the 3 row CUVs out there, I’d say this and the Telluride are the best choices right now in terms of interior space and passenger volume. But still.. there’s something I still don’t get with this vehicle class; if you truly need room for both passengers and cargo at the same time, minivans like the Chrysler Pacifica and Honda Odyssey offer more room for passengers, especially in the third row seat and still have room for a bunch of cargo behind the 3rd row. Minivans also vastly exceed 3 row CUVs when it comes to max cargo space, like the Chrysler Pacifica’s 140.5 cubic feet of max storage capacity which vastly exceeds even the Chevrolet Traverse’s 98.2 cubic feet. Each to their own, but why can’t families just admit they need a minivan over a 3 row CUV?

It is nice. But those gear shifter buttons are really annoying to use. I got into a friends car and they had them. It just seems really unintuitive especially if you're in a situation that requires lots of driving forward and backing up since it's not as good as a normal lever. That feels more tactile and it's something that one always knows how to use. Go up to drive, go down to reverse, go up to park, it's a simple, mechanical feel. Buttons replace that feeling. I feel like it's just doing something just to do it instead of making any actual sense or advancement. A regular gear shifter worked fine for the past hundred years, so why change it into something that requires you to look down to make sure you hit the right gear? It just seems stupid

I test drove this car and it drives pretty well and the seats and
leather are great. But the large screen is very Narrow, and the color look washed out. Also the knobs and door handles are twist type and feel cheap and Chintzy. I liked the seats but was unimpressed with the
rest. Dealer also asked for $3,000 above sticker, for last years model. Oh and its high up, so my family wanted running boards for another $2,500. It's higher so it gets poorer mileage than similar SUV's. This SUV has its pluses, but its not as amazing as everyone believes.

If its platform mate was not Telluride this Palisade would also be praised for its exterior alongside with interior I think besides Telluride Palisades exterior is still at the top of the class not something you see often in none luxury brands. I mean think about Cadillac they charge a lot because they think they are the luxury brand but their exterior and interior are not necessarily better than this Palisade

I talked to 12 people ( men ) who preferred the looks of the Telluride which I can't understand. Them I was introduced to their woman and now I can totally understand. I also had 12 people ( men ) who picked the Palisade, I met their girlfriends as well, and they were ALL beautiful woman. So it truly does come down to taste. Some people just dont have it ( those who prefer the Telluride looks ) which is great, we have to have people who are more attracted to the unattractive.

I expect a more serious review from the likes of well-respected Kelley Blue Book. But this guy always rubs me the wrong way with his so-called humor. This is my last viewing of any Kelley Blue Book UA-cam review until they get someone more serious. There are SO MANY much better reviews online for the Palisade and other vehicles.
