Sorry to hear about your troubles mate, only had the well documented oil leak issue on my 1200 Speed (easy fix) 4k miles in and no other issues, I ride the nuts off the thing and it's done a couple of track days.
I really do love mine and will be keeping it, but I can understand your frustration mate.

Same here - had the bike for some time now without any issues whatsoever. It’s really not acceptable to go through so many issues on a new bike.

I purchased a 2022 Speed Triple 1200RS in January and have had the opportunity to ride it twice -- mine kept throwing a low oil pressure light and has since been at the dealership. It took the dealer some time to validate that the oil pump was not providing adequate oil pressure. Fast forward to present, Triumph has stated that their oil pumps are on backorder and are not expected to be back in stock in the UK until mid-April. I'm located in the US and will likely not see the needed parts until sometime in May, if I'm lucky. I now very much regret buying this bike and I'm not only losing patience in waiting for this part, but after reading of other owners experiencing a myriad of problems, I'm also losing confidence in the bike and brand too..

same issue with mine. it only comes on when i come to a stop and the engine is HOT and at idle. Dealership had it for 3 months trying to diagnose and said they fixed it but it persists. Triumph says the pressure readings are normal. pressure switch was replaced and still not fixed.

Hi folks- just to update here rather than reply to everybody with the same thing as I'm tired of re iterating or people not listening:
Thankyou for all the support and comments, really appreciate it.
I have a reply from trading standards and have contacted the finance company and raised a formal complaint as this is now a tier 2, I have a case to be able to get a refund or replacement (Looking for a refund). And move onto another brand/bike and put this all behind me.
Huge pain, lots of stress and more to worry about. The bike has been taken back by staffs triumph who have provided me a loan bike in the interim, however I will be looking to get this bike replaced regardless. I have no trust or faith in this brand anymore.

Wow what a run of issues... hope it gets sorted to your satisfaction. I have a 2021 1200 RS with 4500kms on it now. Only issue was the exhaust valve cover and was replaced under the warranty with the better designed bracket. None of the issues you have had at all. I love the bike and it replaced my 2014 speed triple R.

I completely understand how you feel. I am a 1200RS owner as well which stalls every now and again without notice when downshifting which I think it is dangerous and scary. The answer I keep getting from Triumph is that I should not ride it in the low rev range which I don´t do anymore. Completely non existing customer service from Triumph. So sad to think that I rejected to buy the Tuono because I was scared it could give me reliability problems...

@@Deakzz To be honest, my Triumphs (owned two street triples, and now the 1200 RS) have all been more reliable than the Honda that I owned from brand new in the past. Generally speaking, all models more or less come with some particular issues, especially when they have just been released. Still my 1200 RS has been flawless. The other thing is that when hearing about people’s experiences, you’d never know how they actually treated the bike during their ownership. Not talking about this specific case but more generally.

Hopefully you get these issues resolved and you get a loaner bike in the meanwhile. Otherwise they should really buy back the bike from you, and you should be able to move on from this situation. I've personally only had an issue of leaking oil from the valve cover on my Speed Triple 1200, but they managed to fix that. But so far I've haven't had anymore issues, I'm hoping it doesn't happen to me as well, I really enjoy the bike and I've put on about 6300 miles on it so far and has been reliable besides that one oil leak issue.

This is unfortunate. But at the end of the day they are machines and stuff breaks and things go wrong. Even on new ones. Had a 2018 Ducati that required a new front cylinder at 700 miles. Took 5 months to get the parts. I was feeling pretty upset with the bike and brand. But I kept it and even bought another one the year after. Wife had a new car that had the transmission replaced twice in the first 20k miles. This stuff is very frustrating but don’t let it ruin your overall spirit. I now have a 2022 Speed 3RS and it’s been flawless. There are always some duds in the bunch. Best wishes it all works out for you.

Christ, keeps adding up doesn't it.
I'm tempted to make a video for triumph, where people can comment their issues and problems, and the action that needs to be taken- i.e. everyone put a complaint in via trading standards here in the UK and the equivalent in their respective countries.
However I may send them this one just to show them the comments. From what I've heard from...sources, triumph are struggling to admit these faults internally (probably due to being monitary) and aren't recalling the bikes.
It will take a combined effort from customers to do something, and I'm willing to push as I have already been doing.

I’m still riding daily since new, my ‘05 ST1050. Even with 80K+ on it, it still runs flawlessly. Ever since the frame got updated in ‘08, the styling has gotten too Asian for me. Oh & those modern tech gizmos; TFT screen/no analog tach😢, keyless ignition, fly-by-wire throttle, traction control, speed shifter, etc are all things that can go wrong $$$. Stories/complains of the new 1200 seem to be varied; ECU needs to have software reloaded, TFT clock unit might have indicator lights issues, & speed shifter failures, so you’re not alone, but they’re mostly isolated incidents. Hope you can get your’s sorted, the ST is a brilliant street bike. Triumph is due to release the full testing results of their TE-1 project on July 12th ‘22. Hopefully it’ll reach being a production model. It’s motor has produced 685hp ungoverned, talk about potential.

Sounds a nightmare and hope I don’t experience the same issues. You mention having a loan on the bike and if this is Hire Purchase etc, I would forward your letter to the finance provider. Once the dealer has had a proper opportunity to make the necessary repairs and similar faults reoccur, you may be able to reject the bike and the dealer has to put you back into the same position as before you purchased, less any fair usage deduction. You may however face challenges if you have made modifications such as exhaust and ECU remapping.

I didn't mind because I had two other bikes. Both 2011's, a Speed Triple and a Thruxton. So keep the it till its fixed. Anyway, I got a new Explorer in January of 2013. Beleive me, problems you have had are minor in comparison to my 2020 1200 Tiger. Replace main wiring harness twice, fork seals, font rotors/pads, starter motor, solenoid (twice), stator coils, regulator/rectifier, battery and triumph is now talking about another wiring harness to fix IMU issue! Has been at dealer most of last year and since may this year. In Canada, Triumph US and Triumph UK involved. Piece of crap!

    BS.
Test-ride and rent European, buy Japanese.

BD to you, it's extremely subjective. I've test ridden and owned plenty of bikes to have formulated my own opinions on what I enjoy as a human - cheers

@@sergeantsodom6969 If you want reliability you buy Japanese - arguing to the contrary is just asinine.
