Dear David. This warm up saved my life when I spent 6 months along in an isolation room in 2017. Now in self isolation I am finally remembering to thank you. Thankyou.
So happy to hear that this warm up had such an impact in your life!
Why were you in a room alone for 6 months?
@@ianrjm969 I ask myself the same question. Before my cancer diagnosis, they didn't know what was going on.
@@angelachicken4141 sorry you had to go through that.
Thanks David! I'm getting re-acquainted with my body and am Grateful to try your exercise.
Wonderful!
Xexe, David Bao. My cousin knows some good videos for basic Tai Chi and teaches regularly. I haven't been able to attend. I could feel I needed to warm up better when I started into this basic form. Your warm up is good exercise. I was motivated to exercise after discovering children need a lot of exercise ('1 hour a day'). This has been a great start for our family's day. I hope to practice this as a 'habit' daily because exercise is where I feel unbalanced. I could tell my left side needs more balance and my right elbow needs improvement having tendinitis. It takes work to balance that in the rest of my right arm. Thank you.
Good to know that it has helped you =)
Thank you Master Bao! I feel so comfortable with your instruction. I really want to be your disciple, but I live in France...
Thank you for your kind words. I have some Tai Chi courses available online too - www.patreon.com/davidbao
Thank you so much Master
A very beautiful exercise
Mabuhay

Thank you so much for this warm up tai chi video. I feel very invigorated and calm. I found it useful!
David Bao, your Da man! thanks for this routine.. feels great every time!!
Yay!!
Thank you. This is lovely. My 90 year old mother started Tai Chi recently, so as I do not have access to a local instructor, I've been looking on the youtube. Very enjoyable warm up sequence. I too, would be interested in the 24 forms of Tai Chi. Kind regards, yoga teacher, Gail Pickens-Barger
So happy to hear that your 90 year old mother has picked up Tai Chi. Hope she will benefit from this warm up video.
Ότι καλύτερο. Ευχαριστώ!!!!!!!
Thank you, David Bao.
Very good. Thank you.

Glad to hear that
Thanks for this video - very helpful
Glad it was helpful!
It is just great!
The last one was the hardest for us!!!! ahhh... and the twister arms... as well... !!!
Don't give up. Keep practicing and you will eventually be able to do it. Twister arms is to ensure muscles on hands and shoulders is flexible and supple.
@@davidbaoyh Thanks, Master David Bao. My Boy 10 y.o. and me 30 y.o. we are trying to be flexible for our workout in Tai Chi... Thanks for your awesome Teaching and God Bless You...

I wish every Tai Chi teacher would require the students to do this exercise before learning the form.
We have 🙏
David, thank you for sharing this wonderful routine. I find it to be calming, yet energizing. A perfect warm up to start the day.

I absolutely love this warm up- it's helping me get back in shape after 2 years of near inactivity. Also it's really helping me recover from a long term hip injury. Thanks so much David!
Fantastic to hear that!! Yay!!
Very good exercises, that work deeply on the body. Thanks.
Glad you like them!
With a hip replacement some.of the balance and squats are too difficult but the rest. Thank you during Covid-19
Fantastic warm up! Has helped me with my balance. Thank you!
Same, those final two minute long exercises have transformed my balance compared to this time last year
It's a heck of a thing when you need to warm up before doing Tai Chi. But I get it. Very nice general loosening up and settling down routine.
Thank you for this exercise. After doing it every day for 4 days I'm feeling my body is improving. Greetings from Poland.
Yay!
This is a very thorough warm up! Thank you David Bao
___O\___ thank you

Muy bueno. Gracias maestro. Feliz día.
Excellent warm up and preparation! Thank you Mr. Bao!
Doing "Snake creeping down" is much easier to perform right after your warm up sequence. Thank you for sharing your insight.
Balance was needed and balance is what I have achieved by utilizing your warm-up exercises. Thank you for sharing and caring for the well-being of humanity.
Sieht aus wie aus dem Da wu !!
I've only come across your video two days ago and did the full practice this morning. Thank you so much David Bao. I can already feel that I am up for something great and I am looking forward to what I will feel like in any time from now, after doing these exercices regularly! Greetings from the Swiss/German border.
Yay! Keep it up!

Hey David!
I was just wondering what you recommend for people with sciatica? I recently had a back spasm and now my lower left back aches. It is hard to do the hip exercises in this video but the rest felt really good!! Keep at it!
Happy to know that this warm up exercise helped you. It does help reduce the pain felt (sciatica). Just keep practicing it regularly. The muscles will relax and lengthen, gradually getting the qi to flow.
Haven’t practiced in awhile, but remembered David Bao…I’ve come to the right place :)
I'm glad this video came up on my feed. It seems more like a real exercise routine rather than a warm up. Really stretches things out. Thank you.
very good exercises for flexibility and warm-up, thanks very much for putting it on youtube :)
chai chai ni david coz i need this my body have diabites and highblood chai chai ni
Happy to hear from you, Sally! Stay well and healthy!

You are a very good Tai Chi instructor. I've learned the 24 and 42 forms from watching your videos during the last 3 months. I do this warm up exercise before I practice the routines everyday. THANK YOU!
Wow, thank you for letting me know that!
Cheers mate, that was great.
Glad you enjoyed it
Thank you. Im doing Tai Chi as it is easier to keep breath flow with my asthma and I feel energised since Im not trying to keep up. Thank you
Wonderful!
Well done🤔💭🙏💯
Excelentes ejercicios,me encantaron, los voy a practicar, gracias profe David por compartir, que Dios lo bendiga, un cordial saludo.

David, thanks co much. I am from Poland 😊I have got 59 years
Amazing video glad I FOUND you
Excellent warm up for Tai Chi or for any other exercise that we usually do!
Thank you so much for sharing, you are my Tai Chi Master on You Tube!! 🙏💕
Thank you for sharing your experience, Joyce! Glad to know that it helped u.
Thank you Master!! 🙏
Thanks for the GREAT video! I'm glad that I FINALLY found a video that is just warmup, not other Tai Chi moves, plus you get right into the moves instead several minutes of talking. I'm 74 and practiced along with the video today for the first time as much as my body would allow. I believe if I practice every day, I'll only get stronger and more flexible. I followed your video by doing a Louhan Patting routine. Please continue the good work!
I need this first thing In the morning
Thanks for the calming exercise!
Thanks, David.
Excellent presentation, beautiful location, easy to follow and understand. I look forward to seeing more of your work.
Mike
That was awesome! You can tell this master teacher has a still mind.
Elisabeth Carpenter I forgot to say, thank you very much. This helped stop back pain I had been suffering with for a week.
David grandmaster!!!
Excelente rutina muchas gracias
David, thank you for these warm up exercises . Could you give instructions for 24 form tai chi. Thank you.
Perhaps in the near future. Dont have a video on that at the moment
Thank you 🤗
Thanks, sir! It helps me a lot
Thank you Master Bao
Thank you !
I need this for my everyday wake up
Yay!!
100%
Excellent, thank you so much for sharing!
Thanks David
Thank you for helping me to re awaken and realign my body and spirit.
I'm just curious why the hand being left or right on top is important? I know it must be because I've seen it mentioned many times. Does it have to do with energy or is it tradition?
Its to do with energy flow. For men, left hand touches the body and right hand on top. For women, its the opposite.
David Bao Thank you
Thank you!
Thank you!
thx feel better now
Thank you, Master Bao, for this video. I took me a long time to find this traditional tai chi warm-up set, very similar to what I had followed from many years ago.
You are very welcome
Thank you, I feels great
Wonderful!
It was hard to hear at the beginning of the video because of the birds
Can’t hear you with all the Background sound
