I will never forget HR doing a standing back flip on stage mid song and not missing a beat. Everything else was kind of anti climactic after that lol.
I've seen Bad Brains many times. And the thing that made them the superior hardcore band above the others, besides their high energy live shows, was the fact that they could all actually play their respected instruments. Dr. Know, Darryl Jennifer and Earl Hudson were great musicians and HR was an amazing front man.

GG Allin & The Murder Junkies - San Antonio 1992
I saw the cramps bad brains and fugazi all in London
The sex pistols are missing
My thoughts exactly. They were a whole other beast live.
I'm glad the latest show they played was '91. After that it couldn't be considered real punk.
You can argue if Bad Brains we're punk or Hardcore all day long.
They were punk rock that turned into a hardcore metal band... They are the Alpha and Omega. From Rock for light and Black Dots also RoIR sessions which are very punk to I against I the most HxC album With the Quickness which has many metal overtones to it
But, why?
Hc is a punk subgenre
At first glance when I saw this video pop up in my feed I thought it was Ol Dirty Bastard, until I saw it was Bad Brains, anyway, I love these bands and I also of course love Wu Tang
How is Bad Religion not on this list? The DVDs Along the Way and Big Bang, filmed during the Suffer tour and Against the Grain tour are classics.
Because they shouldn't be on it
@@royjameson2097 Why?
@@albundy8882 no offense, I'm just not a fan of theirs I think they're a talented but I feel like they have more of an alternative rock sound with American Jesus, it's just my opinion and I don't think most of these films can even touch the bad brains Fear or the Dead Kennedy's, they did leave out Minor Threat .. also Social Distortion
@@royjameson2097 Is American Jesus the only song you have heard?
@@albundy8882 LoL no not at all
