Whether you're on a job site or at home, bring the new 18V MultiVolt Cordless Tripod Site Light model - UB18DGQ4 with you. This tripod light is perfect for any application that requires versatile lighting solutions thanks to the 4 different light settings and rotating head. With 66 LED lights, this tripod produces an amazing 1,000 - 4,000 lumens with a run time from 4 hours to 16 hours depending on the setting.
At less than 18 pounds, this cordless tripod light is easy to carry around the job site due to the convenient carrying handle on the side. It can extend from 39" to 84" within seconds and the 3 lights pivot 230 degrees horizontally and 215 degrees vertically.
Metabo HBT/Hikoki is better by a long shot
I have the Milwaukee, and are very happy with that. Only thing here in Norway the eletric cord is fixed and not removeable.
Hopefully I can get one this year. All my pro tools are metabo hpt
the fact they provided an ac adapter and a cover to protect the battery from water is a win win for Metabo HPT. I wouldn't be surprised if it was designed by the same company as outsourcing to third parties is nothing new. For that AC adapter, I simply dump it inside the battery compartment and lock it up when not in use. I feel comfortable with Metabo HPT lighting system than any other brand.
Makita got one too
@@histguy101 sorry, not a fan of Makita’s lighting system. I like everything else except their lighting solution. Out of all the brands I have tried, Makita is possibly the worst.
good review man your the best at keeping us informed on the new metabo hpt tools comin down the line, that power adapter looks like the same 1 that comes with the new speaker they just came out with, are they the same? I recently bought that jobsite speaker after seeing your review and recommendation and am super pleased with the purchase
I think they are the same. I did not check the wattage, but should be.
@workshopaddict when are Guys ever gonna get around to painting the Walls in your Shop? 😂 Seriously though, that would drive my OCD nuts. Besides if you paint them White they will do a great job of reflecting Light and brighten up your Shop drastically. Just saying….. Great Video!
They seem similar in fundamental design but so very different.
An important one is the Milwaukee lights can be stored to away to protect the lights from getting damaged.
Can the Metabo do that when storing the lights?
Is this the brand new M18 rocket light, or the one from 2 years ago?
Metabo hpt needs to bring out a jobsite fan and grease gun and update their one handed recip saw
TTI, Dewalt, Metabo, and Makita all seem to use the same OEM/ODM for their worklights. Wish I could figure out who it is they all use.
Dewalts seem slightly different, but I agree. I have not found who it is. Maybe they only make lights for other brands.
Thanks! Have a drink on me.
Thank you!
i would rather go with Miilwaukee than Metabo . and i have a question .. does it give a true view as Milwaukee ?
They are both made by the same Company which is a Contract Manufacturer for Milwaukee & Metabo. This is the case with about 90% of the Power Tools available in North America
What company?
You didn't spend equal amount of time on both lights.
My point was never to do a full comparison. I just wanted to show how they are very similar and MIGHT be produced by the same company.
@WorkshopAddict I see, well we didn't get to see the features of the Milwaukee light like you showed on the Metabo light to see if that was a possibility. Don't sweat it, though, my brother. I'm not mad. I buy exclusively Milwaukee tools and wanted to see more of it. I've seen it at Home Depot, and it sparked some interest.
@@PastarocketS-sb7nk I have a full review of just the Milwaukee light on our channel
@@PastarocketS-sb7nk He has already done a full review on the milwaukee lights.
