  • Which one should you buy? Both are solid, but one sets itself apart from the others. The Milwaukee Rocket Light is a solid option at a reasonable price. The Flex Modular Work Light is also quite affordable. So which one is better? In this video I share my opinion's on both. Which one comes out on top?

    I had 2 rockets,and just bought 2 more.
BF deal 2 for $450 with 2 free 6amp batteries.
I already have m18 batteries, and the price point is good.
I have 2 smaller task lights that are more easily moved.
There are 2 more levels of lights,1 is about like the flex with 3 movable heads that are like rose petals ,the other one is 9000 lumen but nearly $700.
For the price setting up 2 isn't a big deal for me.
I get about 1hr per Amp-hr,but are plugged in normally.
M18 I've changed from proprietary, to only ...lights,vacuums,air compressor ,and nailer.
Saws etc are Makita and Metabo (German not hpt).
It's good to have options, and if I was buying a complete ecosystem flex would be in the running for sure.
Competition is good for all of us end-users!

Your definitely right about that. Competition drives the companies to produce better equipment for us.

The flex light does have the power button on top of the light as well. In case you didn’t want to bend over and use the power button on the tripod. It’s actually pretty convenient

Yes sir. Sometimes when the camera is turned on, I tend to miss things here and there. Glad you enjoyed the video.

@@repairvehicle I think you will be happy with it. I have been using mine in a nasty crawl space all last week and this week. Just the actual light detached from the tripod obviously. I've already used it all morning. Dragging it through mud and debris, no problem.

Does not work as a charger when connected to extension cord?

I own both FLEX and Milwaukee stuff. I can honestly say FLEX tools are better quality. Milwaukee on the other hand has so many tools you are foolish not to jump on the bandwagon of enthusiasts.
Milwaukee rushes some things to production whereas many other brands do not and Milwaukee has such a cult following you could spray paint a turd red and people would buy it and turn around one month later and slap a Fuel sticker on it and they would pay twice the price for the same shit
Milwaukee just came out with a 5cfm vacuum pump I cannot wait to swoop one when they become available

@@OwensandCompany yeah and I think Acme has a deal where you get a free battery with it right now too. I prefer the bigger batteries on the flex light myself.

Can't wait for the Flex brad nailer and table saw coming out in the next month or two. Like you, I own tools from both brands. But... the Flex options seem a bit better in what they do. Biggest thing is the supposed lifetime warranty.

    Correction:
If you got Milwaukee batteries…take some great photos of them and all your m18 tools and sell them on eBay. Then trade that money for Flex tools/batteries. They are seriously that good. No other “new to market” company has ever done what Flex is doing right now. Makes sense too, Flex is what will bring true professionals to Lowe’s over Home Depot.

I share your view. Unfortunately not everyone does. Plenty of red Kool-Aid drinkers out there 🤣🤣🤣
