My small fixed blades for pocket carry are LT Wright Patriot , LT Wright Frontier first ,Shenck knives Osprey , with handmade leather pocket sheaths. For small belt carry I use the LT Wright Frontier Valley ,Lionsteel B35 ,LT wright Next Gen. I use leather sheaths for all my knives because I like traditional old school over plastic .
I think my favorite looking one is the Sea Snake. I haven’t messed around much with small fixed blades, but I did get my brother a CRKT minimalist cleaver as graduation present.
Atm, I'm mostly carrying the TOPS scalpels, and the discontinued G10 S30V Benchmade Hidden Canyon. There are others that get carried..those are the most frequent lately. Keep up this content. You're like the only one, so that's huge.
Here again! such a good video! I actually really regret not getting that TwoSun when I had the chance. It sold out of white mountain super quick, and I can only find it on Ebay now, and its going for more of course....kicking myself. its so good looking. I guess Ill have to settle for an ICE dagger
Only fixed blade I have that I occasionally edc is a Schnitzel Unu. Its just over 4ozs with the kydex and carries great in the front pocket. Has a blunted tip which I've been meaning to fix but it still cuts. Thanks Dave!
This is great! I am going through a retransion of returning to in addition to my folders, also EDC Fixed Blade. Use to carry an EDC Boot my Gerber MK1 for oh 25+ years for work. Just feeling as I am getting "Golden," better about the stability counting on a fixed blade! J
Amazing that Elite Tactical, maker of $15 (and up!) folders, would come up with the ROUT (presently out of stock at White Mountain). If you're pocketing this one, I probably should be ordering this one.
The two sun is my favorite.. but Amazon is selling it for $90 right now... Seems expensive for a "budget" stainless steel option. But.. if it comes down, I'm 100% buying it.
The Artisan Cutlery Sea Snake designed by Mike Emler is a little BEAST. Love it. I fell in love with Wharncliffe blades after I bought a CRKT SPEW designed by Alan Folts. Both awesome for carving walking staffs. All these knives are gorgeous 🤩. Especially the Bastenelli.
Hi OldSword, thx for the nice review! I also carry a fixed edc blade most of the time. Like your choice's, I carry the White Rivers M1 backpacker a lot. Can you give more info on the various clips you use on your sheath's? Kind regards from the Belgian Ardennes and stay healty! Yves.
My second show. I genuinely like your content and you. Your obviously a lover as we are. But I appreciate your knowledge. I hear aspects of these knives by you I would NEVER EVER see on knife center, blade HQ,smkw. You get a more honest, genuine perspective. Your not trying to sell me a blade. Leaving time to get down to BUISNESS. So I'm going to smash that subscribe button. I'm n love with the tops. Except their insistent use of 1095. I want buy 1095. I want pay 200 plus for rust. I've fought with the issue of EDC fixed or folder a year now. I still think going with something that can close on your hand in battle ( God forbid) could cost your life as risky. I have found a kinda middle ground. For me personally. I'm about to take the plunge and get a Spartan Shoto. It's a folder. But for a pure self defense close qtrs combat situation. I see it has NO equal. Personal opinion ofcourse. Thanks. Great job. God bless
Right now I'm currently rotating between the Maverick customs (Kizer) in 10V, the Microtech warcom signature series M390, Medford Necromancer S35VN and the Barkie 3V CUB-EDC as a fixie pocket carry with my 15V manix2 accompanying those! Yes I like my high performance steels with Uber thin edges lol
Looks like a lot of people have recognized the utility of the Sea Snake. I have one I use at work. It's great for leather, softer plastics, and padding material. I put an Ulticlip on the sheath, and it fits well in my back pocket. Not great edge retention, but super easy to resharpen.
I run a DPX Gear HEST II now, was running a HEST original for a long time. NIOLOX is a fantastic steel for a daily blade. If you’re not familiar with the DPX Gear knives definitely worth a look!
Great video. I’m in the market for a “ get off me “ fixed blade to go on my battle belt. It will sit on my weak side and I’ll be drawing it in a reverse grip. That tops lioness looks like it fits the bill perfectly. I’m also thinking of the SOG pentagon FX covert. Hope you read this and can offer your opinion on some other choices I should look at. Thanks
I am noticing (1) what I personally believe is a major short coming... Most or all shown are under a 4" blade sharp length, or close thereof. I realize different uses accompany their needs. I just feel the need for worse case scenario. Thank You as usual! J
Yes this was a fine-tuned review for fixed blades that would fit in your pocket. If you need to go bigger then inside the waistband or elsewhere will also work! Thanks for watching!
Wow All multiple options for fast deployment especially for self defence!!! I'm reminded of NY Subway where stabbings, slashings are happening every now n then and 1 of these might save your day ... 4 inches or less if that's the law there ?
3.5 inches or less, but stabbings are never announced. Baseball bats, umbrellas, frying pans and screwdrivers however are legal. As with the police, a knife is the last line of defense...good to have.
Thanks for the suggestion. Apparently I left the links out and just gave a listing in this video. 90% of my videos will have links to where to buy for current prices.
If you don't mind doing some sewing, a velcro patch in your pocket (and a stick on strip for the sheath) is a really nice way to attach a sheath to your shit.
Did you ever modify that Bastinelli sheath? How would you go about doing that? I have a couple Cold Steel sheaths I want to add a thumb ramp to... Great video, as usual, by the way! (I love little fixed blades!)
Thanks! Haven't modded it yet, since it's seen more belt than pocket carry. Soften the Kydex with a heat gun, slowly, then create a tunnel with a drift pin or nail set.
@@OGBladeReviews Thank you so much! I figured a heat gun would be involved, just wasn't sure what to use or how to proceed from there. I'll give this a try & let you know the results! (And if I screw up, well, like I said, they're Cold Steels -- & not the expensive ones, so...). Thanks again! This is why I really like your channel!
Is the TwoSun TS 265 discontinued ? I liked it right away and went searching for it on Amazon, Google and even BladeHQ, but can`t find it. EDIT: Found it at White Mountain Knives $59.99

Good stuff. I just ordered the murdered Sea Snake.
Tops 2.5 Mini Scandi and Izula 2 are my most frequent fixed carries.
Love that Tops Lioness also love the Bradford knives Guardian 3 M390 flat grind contour handles
I carry the Sea Snake fairly regularly and it gets a good amount of use on the job. It's a good little knife for my varied needs.
The backpacker by White river... the FASTPAK by rainier knives are the best for on the pocket carry

Very nice selection of blades. The Twosun is really nice. Great video!
Some excellent knives. I had a crkt Carson f4 that worked very well for front pocket carry. Great video 👍
I EDC a TOOR darter in Ranger Green, and it is really AWESOME!!

I just carry a cheep CRKT S.P.E.W, that gets surprisingly sharp for being 5Cr15MoV. And as a folder I carry the Benchmade Mini Griptillin.
A nice fixed double edge is the AJBlades 327, only about $14
Great selection! Terrific video. Thank you!
Your appreciation is appreciated! Many thanks and glad you enjoyed. 👍🔥🗡️
I'm waiting for my Tops Lioness to come in the mail. I think I'm going to love it.
Great size, ergos, and design. You're going to love it! 👍🗡️😁

I’m still on a quest to find the right fixed blade for EDC .. this was a refreshing video.. cool subject
Thanks Alex!
White River Backpacker or backpacker pro!
Check out extreme ratio really nice if your on a quest have a look .

Good choice! 👍🗡️🔥
@@OGBladeReviews It's running, um..."neck to neck" with the TwoSun! Good video, as usual.
I really like to carry the White River Backpacker Pro in the pocket in a kydex sheath with an Ulticlip.

That TwoSun took the cake in my opinion

Nice! 🗡️🔥👊
Man i wish i could find that Bastinelli Akeron La Sanction blade in stock somewhere. It’s become very hard to find
Could be out of production. Try ebay 👍🗡️
Great video thanks 👍
Good little fixed blades ⚖️🦈⚖️

I run a DPX Gear HEST II now, was running a HEST original for a long time. NIOLOX is a fantastic steel for a daily blade. If you’re not familiar with the DPX Gear knives definitely worth a look!
The sheath it came is was not ideal for IWB or pocket carry. I am now running an Armitus Carry Solutions sheath.
I've seen DPX gear knives before but never owned one. Seem to be rugged and useful!
Esee Izula, F Beard HAVOCK, Gerber Ghost Strike… a few.

Sure thing, Look into the Tops Unzipper to fit the point-down weak side role. It's the sharp on the inside version of the Lioness. 👍🗡️
My mora eldris has been my edc since Christmas

Yup, good find 👍🗡️
In Japan, a man was arrested for carrying a Victorinox knife. It is sad.
Very! 😢🗡️👊
If you had to pick, what's the favorite of these 8 knives?
