So now I'm making this with a super chunky yarn. Each face is about the size of a dinner plate. It's going to be ludicrously huge but I'm going to keep going because I aspire to be a borrower.
I've made the triangle shawl before. I tried to make this into a blanket but couldn't figure out how. Thank you for this video. And many thanks to the original creator for letting you do this. I will be doing this pattern.

I am making a 90×100 inch Queen Size Blanket to hang over the edges. Can you tell me how to adjust for that size?
i just made the shawl. Would it not have been a 100 times simpler to worker vertically instead of horizontal? You would not have had all the cutting nonsense and weaving. This is NOT that difficult. But all that weaving and cutting and connecting is difficult for the beginners. I have been doing it for years and hate that.

When i make it in place mats.. What size hook and yarn i should use.... I have this pattern. Im doing a crawl now.. But someone just ask me to make place mats
If it were me, I’d use a cotton DK yarn with an F hook. I think it would look nice and lacy. I think any cotton yarn with the suggested hook size would work. I love the idea of placemats and a table runner.
I suggested cotton because it would be easier to wash. Use washing instructions that come with the yarn and lay flat to dry.
How can I make it bigger for a king size bed?
