Short layered haircut tutorial is the topic of today's video. I did a previous feathered layered haircut in a previous video but I wanted to create a shorter layered look by creating shorter feather layers in the haircut which is demonstrated on this mannequin.

Holy cow! This is EXACTLY what I want, but I can't find a stylist who understands! The last time I got a great, layered/feathered cut like this was more than 20 years ago! Yes, it's "outdated", but it is so ME, and now I can show my stylist niece (age 34) this video, hoping she will understand and learn to create this cut for me. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR MAKING THIS VIDEO! YOU ARE SO AMAZING! ❤️❤️❤️
you mirrored exactly what I wanted to say!...yes it has been about 20 yrs of hunting for someone who knws how to do a good layered haircut....now I just need a niece to train up!
I don't feel like it's outdated, If it suits you, and that is what you want, do it! Do it!!!
I LOVE IT...WHERE ARE YOU??
I never outgrew this style and never will. Like you...its so me!
I feel you. I've been trying to find someone to do this for years and no one understands me either. I show them pictures (of when I wore my hair like this in high school) and they still do it wrong.
I have been asking my stylists to do this for years and they just don't get it! I had this haircut in 1985 and I don't care if it is popular or not. I love it and I want it!
Me, too!
I’m A Master Cosmetologist of 20 years and this Video just took me back to Cosmetology School! This Is A REAL CUT, very detailed, Perfection and a Great Refresher! Thank you!
:)
Just wanted to say thank you! I'm a healthcare aide and one of my patients was begging me to do her hair-- I followed this (as best I could aha I've never cut hair before) and she loves it! You're amazing. ❤️
So great to read this!
NOT OUT DATED..PROBLEM IS HAIRDRESSERS TODAY
DON'T KNOW HOW TO DO IT.
I'd love to know what school is like now because structured haircuts have almost disappeared.
There's videos that I can't even get passed the poor posture. I'm aging myself now. Lol
This haircut was made until the mid-2000s. Now nobody knows how to do it.
Right! They say that its outdated and a waste of time. That is why I cut my own hair.
I meant to say I agree
Your right. I have been to several salons and they don't know how. They don't have to do an all over layer either
Absolutely gorgeous and few stylist know what feathered mean anymore.
Lucille Roth TRUE coming out of school I thought it meant use a razor. Makes me question my instructor a little bit.
I want my hair feathered like back in the 80s
Lucille Roth whenever I ask for a feathered cut they say: oh you mean LAYERED. Yeah I can layer. And it’s not layered. It’s more than a layered cut. I’d like to show my stylists this video. I miss the style and it seems to be coming back.
You are right this is my haircut and everytime i go for a cut they want ro give the "rachel"which doesn't look good on me especially after a wk or two
I hear ya! They dont even know how to cut hair!
I am a product of the 60’s and 70’s and absolutely love this hair cut!!
The only problem is I can’t ever find anyone who knows how to truly layer and feather hair, they think they do but they don’t. And I end up walking out disappointed once again. Really enjoyed the video
1974. I wore my hair like this for so long and now I can't find anybody that can't cut my hair the way I want it anymore. I currently have a short poxie that I HATE
I had this exact cut in 1982 and I STILL love it! I also remember that I had my large comb in the back pocket of my Levi's, used "Gee, Your Hair Smells Terrific" shampoo and always had Bonne Bell Lip Smackers in my pocket. True, we called it "feathered" and sometimes I've heard stylists call it the "Gypsy", like Farrah Fawcett had in 1976-1980.
Thank you for sharing the so called ( feathered cut ) yes that was the cut in my day as a hairdresser. I still wear it that way . I can wear it in so many ways. It’s so hard to find some hairdresser who knows. What I’m talking about, l wish you could write it up and put it in a hairdressers monthly News letter.. thank you and God Bless.🤗🤗🤗🙏
I used to love that shampoo. Wish it was still around!
yes, I remember the very same shampoo! I loved that shampoo and I had my hair like Farrah Fawcett, too. I want that style back so badly but cant find anyone to cut it right.
@@amandabowman-dors-2941 I usually ask for lots of face-framing, graduated layers. It also helps to bring a photo so your stylist can get a good idea. Of course, it's all in the styling too. I also thought of more shampoos like: "LEMON UP, "FLEX" and "AGREE", do you remember those too? I haven't found anything close that smells as great as they did.
@@rubytuesday9881 I dont remember "lemon up" or "Flex but I do remember Agree. Those were the good ole days!
OMG😄 I had that haircut growing up in the 70s. I love it!!! Nobody understands what featheted means anymore😔 I wish I could find a place near me who can do this. Thanks a lot. And I love your jokes sir😆
Thaaaaanks!!!
They think you have to comb it the direction you want it to dry, but you dry it forward, like he did. Then comb it back after dry.
Excellent really enjoyed watching you work.Sandra from Canada 👍
Me too. Dont understand why it hasnt made a come back yet
@@appl3jax498 it's just about to lol I'm getting this when the hairdressers open again.
Incredible! Every instructor that's tried to teach me how to feather always used thinning shears or cut into the hair with scissors and it never looked like the feathers you made. Truly feathered hair! It gets requested more often than expected, mostly by older clients that miss their feathers.
feathers are layers
Years ago, a stylist at a salon cut my hair in layers like this only it was much shorter. Afterward, she curled it to give it more body. It looked like a vintage Liz Taylor hairdo, and I absolutely adored it. I felt beautiful. The next time I returned to the salon, the woman who had cut my hair was gone, and I tried to explain to a young lady who worked there what that style had looked like, even showed her some photos. She didn't come close, didn't even layer it, and screamed at me when I told her it was not what I wanted. It was such a horrible experience that I haven't gone to a salon since. I'm going to try to do this to my own hair. I don't even care if I mess up as my hair grows super fast. Thank you for this video!
I know that feeling when a stylist messes your hair up SO bad that you never go back to a salon for year's!! 😭
He's not a stylist, he's an artist!!
This is the ultimate haircut I need! Who else does this and why do they not teach others to do this!?! Great Job!
They dont teach feathered in cosmetology schools anymore some go to school and never learn a mans haircut
They do teach that in cosmetology school, I learned it 3 years ago! Everyone is looking for the new cuts!
@@michaelgaston6296 not alot of us as you can see. We all want this cut. They really just don't know how. You can tell when you tell them what you want. That confused look even showing them this video. So I leave, if they can't cut everyone's hair the same they are lost.
Many of them claim to know how and I know when I get home that they did NOT.
The good schools do teach this. Not all licenses are equal.
Beautiful...I got my first feathered haircut back in the late 70's. I wore it that way clear through the early 2000's. But then I found that when I tried to explain how I wanted it cut, it was like I was speaking a foreign language to the stylists. Either they wasn't sure how to do it or they tried to talk me into a "modern hairstyle" which really pissed me off. Over the past 20 years I have had such bad haircuts I just gave up on explaining what I wanted and said just make it easy to take care of. So I have had short hair ever since. I was pleasantly surprised when I came across this video. You are so right. With a good cut you can let it grow longer before the next one. I wish I knew where you were located. I would love to have you cut my hair someday. Watching this brought back such good memories of when I was proud of my hair.
Exactly my problem. I also gave up on explaining what I wanted.
I tried to tell the guy that I wanted it feathered but long 9n the sides. He told me it was impossible. I want this haircut but a longer version is all. I bet this Guy could make the impossible look like childs' play. I'm gonna fiddle around with it on my own. Can't go anywhere and it'll grow back by the time we're released. Wish me luck.
Totally agree! I really don't even enjoy getting my hair done much anymore. I am deciding to let my hair grow in silver and just concentrate on getting a good cut when it's a good length. I have middle of my back length hair brunette with a lot of silver growing in but as far as stylist knowing about these particular haircuts they have no idea and it's like you said speaking a foreign language to them.
I'm an old lady. If win the lottery will you come to Scotland and cut my hair before I expire. I'll pay you well and show you my beautiful country 😊
An easy way to make sure you're pulling the hair at the right angle, for beginners, is sectioning the top, middle and bottom. Start with the bottom and work your way up remembering not to cut into the bottom length. Then section crossways to make sure of a nice clean feathered cut. You can wear this cut so many ways! Love it!!! 35 years here... ✌️😁
Can this cut work on curly hair?
I agreed, not too many stylists knows how to do layering anymore, this is the way layered hair styles were done, amazing!!
My hair is cut like that except longer. I used to wear it like that in the late 70s, early 80s. I went back to it because I love it and I don’t really care what’s in style. I have an awesome older stylist from California who can do this beautifully.
It’s fun when people stop and stare and say they are fascinated by your hair. Rock those 70s! ❤
Thank you! I’ve worn this style for nearly 50 yrs and love it. I agree that it’s so hard to find someone who knows how to do feathers! Great tutorial! Thx!
My hairstylist closed up during Covid well I'm sure he retired. I have been with him for nearly 40 years. It's so hard to find a stylist who cuts a good layered, feathered cut like this. I take a picture with me but still never looks like his haircut. Yours is very much like my cut that I want. Love the video.
I’ve been looking for this cut for YEARS!!!👍🏼💯🥇 Love it! No one where I live has ever gotten it close. I am going to do this myself today! AWESOME to see a REAL stylist focusing on taking their time with technique! A forgotten technique in a far-too rushed world. Bless you & thank you soooo much for this video!!! Excellent! 🥇😉👍🏼💗🥰
I actually felt that haircut again. I might even have smelled some Jhirmack shampoo. Maybe I'll do it one more time. But the round brush. The spraying. The facing always toward the wind.... (You do great work).

My mom used to use Gelave by Jhirmak to make her fine hair thicker. I could a big bottle of LA Looks Gel at the dollar store 💗💗💗
Body on Tap was bomb...😂
@@parellano100 I also remember Halsa. I loved it . Volumax shampoo (salon) and styling products. I remember my dad would get pissed when I bought that.
I love this cut! I'm growing out a short cut and wanting to go in this direction. I am 70 and did the Farrah Faucet cut in the 70's. What fun! I miss it.
Thank god, I found this!! (and finally NOT A BOB!!!) That said, I absolutely love this style. I used to cut my own hair this way, in my teens (in the late 70's). It's soft, so easy to live with, classy and sporty, and great for thinner hair, as well as long. Thank you!! Problem is, I just can't explain it well enough to any stylist. I end up with a straight cut (cuz I said NO BOB!) with lame bangs and a straight-scissored downwards pull cut to frame the face. So frustrating.
Steven! Will you please explain, palm to palm cutting? Love your dry humour!
I love this. I did similar haircut in the 70's and 80's. Of course I was taught on the 45* cutting not 90* which I wish I would have know back then. BEAUTIFUL ART. Again, like you said, this cut and a lot of other cuts depend on the client....my hair would NEVER do this as I have a shitty hair line. Thank you for this..I am 65 years young and can always learn.
After watching this video I tried cutting my moms hair for the first time and it came out AMAZING! you’re a great teacher, thanks so much
I’m 78 and still loved layered cut!
I'm old enough to remember feathered hair. I'm also old enough to remember David Cassidy. He had dreamy hair 😍.
I always envied the girls ad and boys that could wear that style. Half of my class mates had feathered haircuts. My own hair won't feather because I have naturally curly hair. When I was younger I didn't know how to take care of it.
By the time I was old enough to go to beauty school everyone wanted perms, and I got better at my own hair care. There were a lot of hair products in the 80s that worked...albeit they dried out my hair...at least for awhile curly hair was stylish.
But as they say what is old, is new again.
I love it. I used to wear my hair like that only a bit longer. It's hard to find someone who cuts like that these days.
I'm fascinated by all the comments! With the amount of people loving and wanting this style, why would the schools not go back to teaching this style to its students? It's truly a beautiful, classy style that is easy to care for. What concerns me is there are far too many comments from people who are NOT satisfied with the cuts they're receiving from their current stylists. Even to the extent that the stylists are not being honest with their clients by telling them they can cut it the way they asked, but end up cutting it completely different.
If there are this many women who are wanting this style back, it appears to me the stylists need to up their game and get back into training. I wonder how often hairstylist attend training sessions for learning new AND OLD styles of hair cutting?
✂ Anyway, hats off to the Salon Guy, literally! Also, 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟's for this gorgeous cut! ✂
Fully agree with you. Most beautician's today try to do 2-3 cuts/ colors at a time so time is money. Not all but most!!!!!
Wow, this is just what I needed to learn!! Fantastic haircut for my fine hair!!
That's exactly how hair should be feathered and layered. I wish they would still teach the students how to cut this way.
Such a beautiful, perfect haircut. I've always wanted this style but have been scared that the stylist won't know how to do it 😌
Thank uuuu
And most likely they won't even though they say they know how. I'd imagine that's a very difficult aspect of the hairdressers job, at times trying to figure out exactly how the client wants it. We can all be hard to please when it comes to our hair.
berryfairy68 they don’t ..period!
This tutorial is fantastic. I’m a newer stylist and have struggled to create the connection from front to back when cutting (a shorter version) of this for one of my favorite guests. Thank you for sharing quality education!
This is how my hair was cut for years at a local salon but then I moved and sadly my haircuts haven't been the same. I have wavy fine shoulder length hair and my waves would spring up when air dried and looked amazing, plus the bounce in my hair was fantastic. Now I know exactly what to ask for. Thank you.
This was how I had the top and sides of my very long mullet in the 80’s and early 90’s.
Thank you! You just gave me a wonderful flashback to the best days of my life.
This was exactly what I was looking for! I am tired of the bob and wanted layers but was afraid I would not find what I wanted. Enjoyed your explanations and banter too.
I don't care if people say it's outdated or not, it's probably the most beautiful haircut you could ever have. The feathered look was the best look.
The "Dorothy Hamill" look I always said, or the "Farrah Fawcett" do.
Why do you know how to do this but many hairdressers do not ? You don't look that old, 🤷♀️🤔
Beautiful hair cut, I would have loved for my instructor to demonstrate hair cuts and hair color, thank you so much for the demonstration, I went to beauty school in 1987 and than did a refresher course in 2016, thing have changed in the world of beauty ❤

I have the same question. Why? I learned it when I was in school. I used to be a hairdresser until I shattered my wrist. I CANNOT find someone to cut my short baby fine straight hair correctly.
I agree and nobody knows how to do it anymore. Where is this guy?
it's actually in again but salons don't know how anymore.
Very nicely explained indeed. This is a great look that won't ever go out of style altogether, esp. for people with thick heavy hair like myself. The blunt cut makes me look like I'm wearing a helmet on my head. Lots of layering works for me, love the feathered look which is a bit more complicated but will last a long time, as per The Salon Guy.
Yes a guy can wear this haircut. I've been wearing it since 1977.
I had that in '77 as well, David Cassady style. I may do it again. Wore it short
my whole life, but I always said before I die, long again. Pandemic was perfect
I'm at 1y, 3mths.
Right-On Man !! Me too ✌🏻 ♥️
I love this haircut on guys. It is always in!
The one thing about this kind of look (which is my go to look when I want to cut my hair short) it grows out beautifully. The layers stay in tact and all they do is trim the layers as it grows. It gives nice dimension to long hair. At least to me.
Wish when getting my hair cut it would look like this. No one has ever been able to achieve it. Thanks for sharing.
European hairdressers are usually very good, I haven't had a bad haircut there in more than 40 years. I came to Canada and had one bad cut after the other. In Europe you can't practice without a 3 1/2-yr apprenticeship, no salon would hire you.
Where are you located,?
Marcy Nordwick Massachusetts
This cut does wonders for my straight, fine hair. Thank you. I will show this tutorial to my stylist with hopes she can do it. I believe she can.
Stylists just don't seem to want to do this anymore. Its is so flattering for everyone! They keep using razors which just don't do the same thing. Loved this video!
This isn’t outdated at all I always wanted this haircut tbh
Omg I’m so glad I found you doing this haircut. It is so hard to explain to my hairstylist about this hairstyle. I know this haircut looks the best for my face . Yes if you get this haircut you can go without get cut in months Love your sense of humor.
Can this work for natural wavey hair? Hope so because I love this haircut!!
Sir, you call it outdated, I call it versatile. There are so many styling options with this haircut. I would personalize it with height at the crown and a side part with a thin bang. You could also face frame wearing it forward. Or a Lisa Rinna look with the spiky flipped up ends. I love this cut and your teaching method!
This is exactly the way I like my hair cut. And yes, there are people who will do it this way. I'm 72, so I remember the old shag haircuts, but this feels quite modern, to me. It's what suits my hair, and a good one lasts for months.
I find that they actually look better after a couple of months. I use to get compliments all the time on this style. I'm doing it.
OH MY GOD EVERYTIME I WANT TO CUT MY HAIR YOU ALWAYS HAVE THE EXACT VIDEOS! i let my hair get longer just for this and boom here you go having this haircut already done what a legend! 🙌🏼
This was one of the first Haircuts I was ever taught at College.. Nobody has this style anymore.. but I am so hoping to do this on one of my Clients tomorrow.. Perfect video for refreshing my memory. Thankyou SalonGuy.x
Your good! Honey where are you located? I can't find anyone worth a crap to just shape my hair right an if I do they don't cut it right. I've paid 70.00 an 25.00 . I've just about figured that I can save money an cut my on hair an mess it up and I don't have to spend all that money. Wish you were near me I would definitely have you do my hair. People just don't care anymore like they used to. I have unrulely curly hair. I don't like it curly so I blow it straight which is a chore cause I haven't mastered the straight iron. And if there's humity in the air at all . He. To style 5 sec. And I can feel it start curling and kinking from the roots out. Please cut my hair. Thanks Lori
Watching your tutorial reinforced basics that I was taught, back in the day, with regards to cross checking and proper layering techniques. Thank you..Layers are back, and you are a Master. Thank you, again!
Love this cut. I had it years back and it was perfect for my hair. Easy to take care of....important for me.
Do you have a big hair volume For having such cuts ?
Ive been looking for too long! Thank you so much, please keep doing yt videos, you're a king!
I like this haircut a lot! And I think it looks good in women and men
I'm a professional stylist, we're longer on one side because we drop out elbow on the side that's less dominate. I've started remember to lift my elbow and my cuts have been so much more balanced. Beautiful hair cut! I've learned a thing or two from you! Thank you!
I’ve never had a haircut that wasn’t longer on one side. So sick of it! I cut my own hair now with the kitchen scissors. It doesn’t look great but it’s free, and it’s level.
I love it! Wish I could find someone to cut my hair like that!
One of my favorite haircuts in my life time lol , very educational love it!
Thank you for making this video this is how I've always worn my hair but suddenly i Can't find anyone to cut this this anymore.
I love it! I used to have that style in my early teens back in the early 80s, I sure I can still rock it!❤🤗
He has a diy video that helped me fix a cut from a stylist who didn’t understand feathered layers. THANK YOU! ❤️
No such thing is outdated, people like old cars !! This cut is great looking and don't have to do much.
My favorite, since I was a young girl. It is timeless
I can't find anyone that knows how to feather layer and take weight out of my hair, not with the numerous hairdressers I've been too, mind you I haven't paid for a TOP STYLIST, like $500 or more, but I've paid $170 to over $200 including colour, even $90 for a cut
@@endeavouringit I went to cosmetology school in the early 90s. Hair cutting techniques have changed drastically. Some of the basics is still there but I like the old style of cutting.
@@leeallen3202 Yes, they aren't taught proper skills like taking weight out and use thinning scissors which are not good. But I'm so over it, I'm just so unhappy all the time. And I have been to older hairdressers like the one I went to last week around my age being 56 and still not right, I paid $145 for half head of foils and cut, just dried off, and I've been crying, colour not great but cut is so unbalanced, which was to start with, I'm so, so, so over it, but when your hair is right you feel good, so I'm forever miserable about it, although of course learn to live with the shit cuts I get. sorry for the saga.
@@endeavouringit I agree with you. If you can get some cholesterol for your hair.
You are my favorite! Love your dad jokes and love how much you talk! A true educator!
I am a professional stylist for 30 yrs. I train a lot of apprentices. I ask them to watch your videos because you and I cut almost the exact same way. I call it my frame I almost always do it first all the way around and make sure I do an excellent job and if you are not spot on in the interior of the cut no one will even notice because you have that super well defined outer perimeter of the hair. So essentially I’m too lazy to make my own videos lo! You do a great job. I also often don’t get it right first shot when trying to match up the sides of the face on those cuts but I have learned over the yrs that I have my one side that I always tend to be longer on and I train my apprentices that they always have to check their cuts. Don’t assume they got the length or the angle right. Make sure!
During this 2020 pandemic, I have not had my hair cut in 5 months, so it is very long. When this pandemic is over, I want my hair cut just like that. (As a man, I think it'll look great on me.)
I like how you do it carefully. most of the stylist make it short cut with a thinning scisor and fly aways are all over specially if your hair is natural
Barry Gibbs wore a feathered cut most of his production years- I personally thought it was very sensual on a man. Begging to have fingers run through it. My hubby always kept his hair too short because of his type of work but he would have looked crazy good with feathered hair. Go for it,hun💁♀️😘😍❤️🤞🤞🤞
This is exactly how my husband loves his hair cut. It is very hard to find a stylist to cut it this way. They don't understand what feathered is! I try to cut it but it is difficult. thanks for explaining this haircut. don't see it very often. :)
Just cut my mom's hair using your instructions. Looks great! Thanks so much for posting!
Thank you for the tutorial. I watched this video because my wife is hesitant to go to a salon because of the covid virus. I followed the video and I had successfully styled my wife’s hair. Your the greatest.
Congratulations.Your wife found a keper💁♀️😍😘❤️
I’ll be doing this haircut to my mom tomorrow, you made this really easy to follow. My mom and I had some good laughs while watching, love the humour. Her hair is 2a-2b curly so they’ll be some waves. I am not a hairdresser or student but I am a protectionist and enjoy cutting hair.
Dude. This is beautiful. I def want this style. Gorgeous
I'm showing this video to my hairstylist! Thanks a million!
This is the haircut I have been trying to get for years. Thank you, Salon Guy. And btw, I enjoy your humor. It cuts the anxiety out of getting a new haircut.
You are the only person who actually knows what "feathered" layers are!!! Thank you for the video.
I have been trimming up my own feathered front so this was helpful! I love the layered look as I have naturally curly hair & its perfect....people ask me all my life if it was a perm....lol! Thanks!
Yes, Finally a feathered cut !!!! So many stylist can’t do this
It's very nice!
The hair stylist can do it! It's just been so long since I've done it with these new hairstyles!
Thank you for helping me identify the perfect cut for me. My hair grows very quick and has so much weight, but today's stylists have no idea what I want and finally, I have something to show them. Thank you again, you are a blessing.
That will never be outdated. Thanks so much. It's gorgeous.
I think that would look gorgeous on men too! :)
It does, lots of men had that hair in the 70's
@@redpilled4781 I know ;)
I can work on men. Some men who wear their hair this way prefers it to be shorter in the top and sides and longer in the back. Hence, the "mullet". In beauty school in the 80s I was taught that this this type of haircut is called, a bi-level haircut.
i love your tutorials. You are so clear, demonstrate so well, and you're a nice guy! Thanks for your amazing training!
Best feathered cut you've done so far. More a female cut, but with just a tweak here and adjustment there it is the epitome of the foundation of the guy's 1980's feathered hair cut. (Basically take the sides just half way up the ear and a more level side, leaving the hair behind the ear and it's there!) BRAVO!
Sharing this with my hairdresser. Really like this cut. Not to thick or thin in areas. Love the weight and balance. Very interesting ~
I LOVE the little giggle you have...
Lol thx
Very cute personality, you would be fun at parties. 😋
I love this hair cut i have been to all kind of salons and can't find anyone who can cut my hair just like that. They don't even cut it the way you do. Your amazing.
Love, love this cut!
You're not talking a lot, you are explaining the cut. You're not pretentious or a lot of fluff; I like that! You broke it down so anyone can understand. I want this exact hair style! Thank you!!!
Best layered cut I've seen!
Oh my, I love this‼️ I so desperately want a feathered haircut and can’t seem to get anybody to understand what it even means and I don’t mind the mullet. I want the top middle short and feathered flowing into the long back, but seems like hairstylists just do whatever the heck they want with your hair and do not listen to your instructions. At this point I just cut my own hair, but still don’t know how to get the feathered look by myself . I will be saving this video for an example🥰 thank you so much for this...
I loved the feathered haircut and I have been looking for a style with the feathered look. I grew up in the 70s. Iam in my 60s this is very glamorous and easy to maintain. I will get it cut like this. Thanks for posting this tutorial.
I see that everybody here has the same problem as me: stylists these days either don't know how to do a proper feathered look, or they won't, and will give you a modernised version. I have taken photos of people in the 70s to so many stylists, and when I finally found one who got it, she retired! Thank you so much for this!
This is still the most popular true hair cut that l do for my clients. Perfect to perm later and always looks great .
Loved loved this gorgeous haircut. Wish I could find someone to do this for me!
⭐⭐⭐⭐ I'm aware that this is an old video however, this is the style I been looking for to get. My hair length is below my shoulder blades, and it's thick & it has a very soft curl. I'm taking this tutorial to my nearest hairstylist since I'm new in town. Thank you for posting & sharing this video.
My favorite hair style to cut. I was fortunate to be a student of V.S. NYC.
Yes! I first got this cut at VS Chicago!
Thank you for this video! I’ve always wanted to understand how this hair cut is done. Beautiful!!!~🌹
Perfect I always wanted a haircut like this but never had it.
I've been trying for years to find someone that could understand 80's feathers!!! Well done!
This was so helpful for a client if mine who has been wanting feathered layers! She walked out of my salon today with the biggest smile and swinging her hair around
Excellent I absolutely appreciate you and what you do
Reminds me when I was 12yrs old every time for years this was the style my hairdresser did me. I love it so much I'm heading in for a cut this week.
I love this cut I wear it in the 70's and just had this cut again, love it!!!! 💕💕💕💕
I have been trying to find someone to give me this hair cut for a long time. No one seems to know how. Thank you so much for your video. I am going to take it to my stylist to see if she can do it.
