This is really helpful. I always ask for layers at the salon, since my fine hair always has more body, more even curl, and more volume when it has layers. The stylist will argue with me every single time, insisting I need to stick to all one length with fine hair. After arguing awkwardly about who knows my hair better, I fold before I become angry, she cuts it all one length, then it just hangs limp and the natural wave is off-kilter. Then I give her money. So frustrating, and it's the same routine at every salon! I now hate going to the salon. This video is encouraging, and I might just try this myself!!
I agree. There are too many incompetent stylists out there who don't listen, and, unfortunately, they tend to be males. I had a problem with my daughter's hair where her thick, wavy hair was extremely dry on the top layer and constantly matted. Her godmother had been taking her to her salon and I had suggested layering it. My advice was ignored by all and the problems persisted. Too many salons seem to focus on high maintenance hair styles and selling products. I ended up personally cutting her hair in layers and that solution worked great. Her hair looks much healthier and is much easier to maintain - tangles are almost non-existent.

I've trimmed my mom and sisters' hair before, but now that we're in quarantine, my mom wanted me to do more than just a trim. This video was SUPER helpful, and she loves the finished product. I'm no hair expert. I'm in the medical field. But this really did help me give my mother a really nice haircut :)
This is THE best video Ive ever seen for cutting hair, because he explains what he's doing, and WHY hes doing it, I have never learned so much about how to cut hair properly and the different out comes if you change angles and so forth, Thankyou for this dude!
Andrew Carruthers is a very good teacher. He explains well and is articulate and pleasant to listen to. He's a real artist, too, it seems. Good video -- thank you.
So many on UA-cam with trendy cuts forget to keep the density. Then they look so heavy thru the cheeks. This is fantastic how you explained it with regards to behind the ear corners.
I’m not a hairdresser, however I have fine hair. This was a great tutorial. I now have a clear idea of what I need to request from my hairdresser. Thank you.
Thank you for showing your secret to success with fine hair....... I gave up a L O N G time ago trying to find a hairdresser with your skill level. So I have always cut my own....but short. Now I’ve grown it for 2 years & I want the length but need the volume..... so delighted to watch this video. I will contort myself to copy your technique and achieve this.... it will always get more positive comments than any local hairdresser!
Great tutorial, this video has inspired me to enroll at my nearest cosmetology school. My wife has thin medium length and for the last 4 years she complains that she cannot find a stylist to cut her hair the way she would like it due to their lack of experience for addressing "thin" hair so she just flips her hair over and cuts it with some cheap scissors but her hair still needs some finishing touches. Because of this video I am going to help my wife, she will feel more beautiful and confident. Thanks again for this awesome video post. I need to order the same scissors from Sam Villa (thank you Sam)
Just imagine all of that $$$ you'll save by doing this for her. For the hell of it get a "money jar" for each hair cut pay what you would usually pay for one.& as your doing that for 6 months or even a year & see how much $$$ you saved in that period of time! Time for that vacation.🕊🇨🇦🌷

Wow. You make the finger angle, elevation, overdirection, etc so easy to understand!! Every thing was so simple yet made so much sense. You're a great teacher! Thank you!!
WOW!! You are seriously one of the best communicators and educators I’ve heard in my 30 yrs of cutting hair. I really look forward to your haircuts. They help me stay current and better my skills. YOU ARE AWESOME❣️
My neighbor did this on my chest-length hair. I am so happy with the outcome. It is perfect. Cut the overall shape wit a slight u-shape first. It looks full, but soft and has movement.
I took just enough cosmetology classes when I was in high school to be confident enough to cut my own hair and my family’s hair. I’ve always struggled with doing layers in my fine hair especially because I like to wear it longer than shoulderlength. This was so helpful and I appreciate it very very much. I almost broke down and went to a beautician to get the weight lifted out of the top part of my hair. I’m just so glad that I was able to do it myself with your guidance. It’s much easier for me to except small errors that I might make then to deal with a huge one mistake that that I’ve paid for and takes a year to grow out. Immense gratitude! 😘
This was a great Eye opener for me. That portion behind the ear where the hair line goes up has always given me a challenge on very fine hair. My friend, you continue to teach me with your knowledge and wisdom. Keep inspiring Andrew as you always do.
Luv how he took his time, explaining slowly & calmly(not rushed). I've been using this technique but never really realized why. Thanks for breaking it down. Looks great!
I’ve learned more from you in an 11 minute video than I have in my hairstyling course! Thank you so much for explaining it all in s very understandable way :)
There is a very good chance you will become a excellent hair stylist and have a full client list. I am not a hairdresser but I watch these videos and always wish I could find a good hairdresser but never can.
Love all the tutorials .. had no idea there were professional stylists offering their educational videos on here. I have been cutting hair for years. I’ve had a little training but my career took a different direction:) so I just give hair cuts to friends and family. I’m truly enjoying learning about the different types of hair as well as how hair grows at different points and the cuts that work best for each type . I appreciate these videos and can’t wait to try out the new techniques..
I want to give a thumbs up to all of these comments! I’m currently a cosmo student and they do not teach this technique, but it makes perfect sense! I love that you go slow and describe everything you’re doing and why. Thank you so much for your videos, they are so helpful!
I am a hairstylist and I cut very fine hair and curly hair. I use the same technique. I had to adapt to this out of necessity. Always great results. I use techniques no one else uses.
Now if only I can find a professional that can give a cut like this. I end up with layers over a bob, a bowl cut with the top separate from the bottom or a modified mullet. SO frustrating. I would love to see a video teaching us how to talk to our hair professionals in terms that we both understand the meaning.
As a person with long fine hair I really appreciate this! People literally give me mullets with zero hair left on the sides and they texturize my hair into these airy pointy layers that do nothing for me. I end up with what I call “air hair” because it’s like sections of it will be so thinner that they end in points of 1-2 hairs. Why do hairdressers do this? How can I as a client get what I’m asking for? I’ve said “don’t connect, don’t face frame, cut it blunt, no more texture needed” and I get ignored most of the time. I’ve had one person disconnect my layers and the next person comes in and reconnects them so all the growing out I just did for a year is GONE in one haircut. 😐 if you can give me help with language I would LOVE that. I want long fat layers no back layering a bit of layering on the sides and a side-swept bang. I’ve referred to this as a child’s haircut because the simplest cut is the best on MY hair. People take chunks out of it and my clip in extension collection shows it! They take the hair I NEED. And I have to “borrow” all of my back hair just to have any on the side!!
You want movement in the sides and no layers in the back right? They need to build graduation at your face frame, so when they cut for a face frame, the elevation is lower and the hair is combed forward and down, as opposed to high and angled. I section out the side perimeter and don't include it in any layering to avoid that cut away feeling. I visually blend very fine hair and cut it dry. A side swept fringe should not be an issue. I don't understand that problem.
@@rain3743 apparently you don't understand because you already know what needs to be done for a great result. What I see so often are stylists that are "stuck" in the way they were originally taught, their safety zone. Continuing education is a must. I contented to show my stylist two of these great tapes before she touches it again! I'm glad there are stylist like you that know and LISTEN!
IM GOING through this right now 😭😭😭 hair salon I went to cut the sides of my hair so weirdly it looks so bad I have to keep my hair up I hate it down i can’t even style it nothing works, think I may have to tackle this myself😩
@@ChloeeeSingzz I have been doing hair videos since my brother my hairstylist didn’t understand what a dusting was and he cut off ten inches of my waist long hair. The back isn’t too bad but he layered the sides and I miss having long hair . I’m so pissed off . No more haircuts for me….. I’m guessing your hair all grew long again
I've been here so often. I'll either end up with a mullet or with the weirdest drop between the bag and the front because they realize they ran out of hair. I'm just looking for a hairstylist that I won't need to trim myself after I get home 😆
Thank you for the tips especially the one where you eliminate a ¼" of hair from behind the ear. Including this section with the side instead of the back, then pulled vertical is new to me. Beautiful, simplistic cut.
I' m from Venezuela, my mother language is Spanish, and i understand every single term, just because you're so precise, and patient to explain every single step, in order to reach our goal in a haircut! I'm a new fan! ❤
This was so helpful I just started working at my salon and am having a hard time but watching your videos has really helped me getting to get more knowledge 😊
Awesome video thank you! I cut my daughters fine hair and I have the issues you discuss at the start. Last cut I did had similar angles to this but then I had to take a diamond section at the crown to kindof blend the layering because of her crown being much more dense and the layers starting as a bit of a shelf. This seems like a better and quicker method. Thank you!
Make sure you ask for a long enough consultation so your stylist has enough time or contact them before and just say hey I came across this Sam Villa video for layers on fine hair and I was wondering if this would be a technique we could try on my hair! If she truly cares about making you happy, she’ll watch the video and either try it out or explain to you why it may not be right for your hair. If she doesn’t want to watch the video then find a new stylist because we are here for YOU,we should always be learning, and personally, I love learning new techniques and Sam Villa has great educational videos.
I always used to end up having to show them a couple pictures for us to be on the same page-but DEFINITELY have them explain back to you what you want done once they say they understand, in as much detail as they can. That's helped me immensely---worse case scenario, at least you'll be able to tell how far off they may be.
School is really about setting up basic rules... I think sometimes the rules are stated to finitely though and it's hard to get past those beliefs. Have fun out there and keep your mind loose :-)
Thank you so much for sharing your artistry and teaching us such a valuable technique in less than 15 minutes! I'm a Cosmo who also personally has fine hair. I appreciate the comments also, as reading them generally helps me decide which videos to spend time watching, however, ALL the Sam Villa/Andrew Carruthers vids are worth watching! :-)
I feel better about my self discovered technique since it's so similar. That negative space ALWAYS proves challenging but I'm glad others are on the same page.
Ive been doing a technique similar to this that i just kinda ended up with after time i just had a different finger angle and didnt cut the layers as dramatic but i cant wait to try this one out. Thanks for all the amazing technigues
Excellent, my aunt has asked me to trim up her hair with layers! Thank you for your helpful walkthrough, I’m not so worried now!😅 I think I will watch this a couple more times just to get a bit more confidence, but if I fail, I’ll just tell her that it’ll grow back..... EVENTUALLY!!!! 🤣😂
He is easy to understand, I learned something about how not to have my hair to thick and bushy in the back, by angling the layers and following this, my hair is very thick though, thank you Andrew, love your style.
My husband is going to have a go at cutting my hair. He's been watching videos. I honestly don't mind him doing it. I trust him and if he makes a mistake, no worries. I haven't been to a salon in over a year. I cut my own hair last time. I just am tired of salon prices and still not being fully happy.
Yes ! Several times already. But I have a tendency to cut my own hair anyway. I am never happy with hairdressers where I live. I am from France and I am use to really great quality cuts. no one seems to know how to cut hair around here. It’s all long hair or all chopped up or it just doesn’t fit the hair type. I have mostly given up on hairdressers. If someone followed this school I would definitely go to them.
Yeah, but if you don't know about haircutting I don't understand a $&%% word he says- it's all technical- the sections, the geometrrical terms, the arrogance.
@@debra13 it's not arrogance. The video is intended for Professionals not for DIY at home...it's actually a very good video-I am Professional hairstylist (just stating facts, not trying to be arrogant:)
Superb bro, so beautifully you layered the fine hair, i just loved it. Even I hv thin hair but no hairstylist know the method to cut it perfect layers. I ll show this to them and get it done. Thank you so much.
Andrew you are by far the best haircutting teacher! You explain concepts well and take your time to allow us to absorb it all, LOL. But I must ask for more of a reason about the back layering technique to understand -- What's the difference between turning your cutting angle to horizontal on a 90 degree horizontal layer from simply combing and cutting the layers at 45 degrees instead? Does it create a curved cut or something?
I noticed that he took his TIME cutting her hair. He was precise. Many hairdressers grab scissors and do a fast cut and the results show it. Love how this looks and was surprised that the hair did look fuller. When you pay top dollar you deserve a nice haircut.

I've been losing my hair this last year. I saved it for the dermatologist and it's a gallon sized bag. I can't stop crying about it and the Drs didn't know why it's falling out. It was long sms full but now short and thin. It's starting to look like a frickin mullet and I need it cut! I have no idea what to do,who to go to or what style... I'm sooo lost.....girls be thankful for the hair you have😢this video gave me a little hope of doing layers and maybe it'll look decent😔
It could be a hormonal issue. I had a lot of hair loss and acne and it ended up being a hormonal problem. The first time I went to a dermatologist he dismissed me but don’t give up my second dermatologist was able to see the problem.
7.39 The reason why more and more people don't visit a hairdresser anymore. The client wants this haircut, but the hairdresser MUST blend for his/her own safety feeling. So the costumer goes home with the wrong - but blended - haircut, looks disappointed in the mirror 15 times a day for 2 months, while the hairdresser can't remember her anymore, and she tries to find another hairdresser who does the hair she wants. She considers cutting her own hair.
That's why I cut my own hair, I haven't visited a hairdresser for almost 3 years once again (yeah before that i did the same for more than 2 years but i was still a teenager who got a mess on her head lol)
We want something sharp enough because we want to be able to cut through the hair very easily? Wow I can see why you teach this for a living, I'd never have been able to figure that out. For real though great video man, gave me the confidence to (attempt to) cut my girlfriend's hair during quarantine
Ive been trying to find a hair stylist to do this type of layering. This is old school layers. I tried to explain this method before I saw this video to my current hair stylist and she looked at me like I was crazy. You know, the "you don't know what your talking about" look. I am going to get a wig like this and bring it with me so I can demonstrate. 😂😉
After so many botched haircuts.... This is EXACTLY the technique I need a stylist to use for my hair! Makes so much sense! Now my question.... would a stylist be offended if I asked them to watch this?!? Because... really....how do you explain this????

If you wanted the hair to move away from the face with more of a face frame (farrah fawcett type) could you do this and retain the thickness at the ends on a client with thin hair?
This is great.. Unfortunately I don't know any hairdressers near me who know how to deal with my fine hair. I always dread when they wash my hair too. Ends up in never-ending knots. I wish there were more hairdressers as educated about fine hair. No matter how much dead ends I get cut off I always end up with knotty hair
Hello, I have been a stylist for over 30 years I am also an instructor. Fine hair will always knot it is just because it is easier to damage. Always use conditioner after you shampoo. Shampoo is alkaline to remove gels, hairspray and environmental dirt from the hair. Conditioner is acid based to bring the hair back to the correct pH. Be sure you use one for fine hair but always condition. A lot of my fine haired clients don't like conditioner until I explain why they need it. Also rinse longer so you remove the weight of the conditioner from the hair. A very light argan oil is also great for fine hair and will not weigh it down. Place your mousse or root lifter at the root only as using on the ends will only weigh your hair down. I hope I have helped.
This is helpful, thank you Stephanie! Should conditioner/mask be applied from root to tip on fine hair? As long as remember myself, I always cried after haircuts so at some point I grew it long and was getting just regular blunt trims. Now that I'm 43, the hair quality is changing (it's thinning, and straight hair became partially ;-) wavy) and overall look is not sophisticated. Is blunt bob with side swept bang or no bang at all is too "vintage" looking? Also, length to shoulder blades - where exactly it is? What is the ideal length for 40+ fine haired lady who is also Petite 5'3" Inverted Triangle (shoulders wider than hips, wide chest, small breasts - mini tennis players/swimmer )body type? What cut would make me look my best? Thank you.
So reassuring to watch this. I've been doing a similar technique that I taught myself, it's nice to see that I'm not crazy and other stylists are doing similar things :)
kathie ellis true...most can't cut fine hair correctly...better off to do it yourself...that's how the Farrah design was made...by cutting it yourself...;-)
blueshoes915. One thing I just learned was to ponytail the lower half of my hair, and tell the stylist you just want thin layers with the top, then your hair isn't getting thinned out like they usually do.
I went to do exactly this on a walk I in client . She said she got her hair cut a few weeks ago to get layers but hardly seen layers in her hair . Long story short as I was going she didn’t like how I was holding the hair at this angel and had another co- stylist do there hair like they did in the 80s .. the proceeded to tell everyone I didn’t know what I was doing …. I guess I’ll save my special cuts for long term clients 🙈💗

R D This is so sweet! You’re a great spouse!
Now I cut my own hair the way I want it.
Why is that I'm getting someone else's comments!?,
Shannon O'Rielly Because you commented above ^ so you will receive any comments that respond on this thread. Just as others will get this comment that I’m leaving for you. Hope this helps!
Thanks so much Shelley!
My neighbor did this on my chest-length hair. I am so happy with the outcome. It is perfect. Cut the overall shape wit a slight u-shape first. It looks full, but soft and has movement.
Thanks for sharing!
Thanks David... miss you buddy!
I have been to many hairdressers and most do not know how to cut. I love this video. You are very good.
Used this video twice to cut my hair at home to good enough results. Thank you, Andrew!
There is a very good chance you
will become a excellent hair stylist
and have a full client list. I am not
a hairdresser but I watch these videos and always wish I could find a good hairdresser but never can.
I have no words to express how thankful I am. It is truly amazing tutorial
I want to give a thumbs up to all of these comments! I’m currently a cosmo student and they do not teach this technique, but it makes perfect sense! I love that you go slow and describe everything you’re doing and why. Thank you so much for your videos, they are so helpful!
Thanks Angela... Have a great time in school and welcome to the industry!
You're the first stylist that has figured out how to cut fine hair with a precision that works without a salon glam and home flop!! Bravo!!
I am a hairstylist and I cut very fine hair and curly hair. I use the same technique. I had to adapt to this out of necessity. Always great results. I use techniques no one else uses.
Thank you for sharing that! I have fine curly hair and was wondering if it would work on curly hair too. This haircut looks like just what I need!
thank you! just used these techniques on my daughter's ultra fine hair. Looks fantastic and healthier.
great stylist ,brilliant teacher. couldn't get a better teacher then you ,,,,, fact thank you for excising
Wow, thank you!
Great video! He explains his techniques with precision and why each cut is performed the way he describes it.
Beautiful. It’s so hard to find a stylist who can layer my fine hair. Great tutorial.
I’m not a hairstylist but I love watching these videos 😂
nice job in creating a balanced layering with the side and back that is challenging with fine hair.
I' m from Venezuela, my mother language is Spanish, and i understand every single term, just because you're so precise, and patient to explain every single step, in order to reach our goal in a haircut! I'm a new fan! ❤
Wow! It is one of the best haircuts I have ever seen!
Thank you, Andrew! That was a great tutorial! You’re always a joy to watch!
Hi Brittani... I appreciate that :-) - Andrew
Thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
Tried this on myself today and I loved it!!! Best haircut I’ve ever had 🤍
Glad you like it!
Is there some language I can use to ask my stylist for this? She always tells me my hair is too fine for layers.
Mine says the same thing. I don't get it.
@Heyyy Everybody!
Change your Hairstylist !!! There are always better one you can search for.
I always used to end up having to show them a couple pictures for us to be on the same page-but DEFINITELY have them explain back to you what you want done once they say they understand, in as much detail as they can. That's helped me immensely---worse case scenario, at least you'll be able to tell how far off they may be.
Ask for concave layers. If they ask you what’s that then fine a different stylist.
Thank you this is mind changing it is hard to forget what they drill in school but some things need to be adjusted for better results! Thank you
School is really about setting up basic rules...
Thanks for the love Dee!
I feel better about my self discovered technique since it's so similar. That negative space ALWAYS proves challenging but I'm glad others are on the same page.
Well done! A very professional guy, We need more hairdressers like you. Congrats!!
Thank you Carmen
Thank you so much for this video, you explained everything so good, and know I’m super confident for my client in the morning
Thank you my friend 👊💜
Ive been doing a technique similar to this that i just kinda ended up with after time i just had a different finger angle and didnt cut the layers as dramatic but i cant wait to try this one out. Thanks for all the amazing technigues
Excellent, my aunt has asked me to trim up her hair with layers! Thank you for your helpful walkthrough, I’m not so worried now!😅 I think I will watch this a couple more times just to get a bit more confidence, but if I fail, I’ll just tell her that it’ll grow back.....
EVENTUALLY!!!! 🤣😂
Thanks again Andrew. Another well explained and easy to follow tutorial.. 👏
Cheers bro , marvellous 😊
Thanks ✌️
Sam, you are a great educator!! I've been out of the salon for 9 years..Great to get these tips as I'm thinking of going to it again! Bravo!!
I love your videos & your voice is somehow soothing while still being entertaining + informational! Thx for the helps
He is easy to understand, I learned something about how not to have my hair to thick and bushy in the back, by angling the layers and following this, my hair is very thick though, thank you Andrew, love your style.
Anyone else here during quarantine trying to cut their own fine hair? 😆
YEP!! - But Not my hair- which is really thick, but family members whose hair is really fin and totally unfamiliar to me!
Most welcome 😊
Andrew you are by far the best haircutting teacher! You explain concepts well and take your time to allow us to absorb it all, LOL. But I must ask for more of a reason about the back layering technique to understand -- What's the difference between turning your cutting angle to horizontal on a 90 degree horizontal layer from simply combing and cutting the layers at 45 degrees instead? Does it create a curved cut or something?
best layered haircut eveeeeer👌🏻 i wish i could come to your salon
I noticed that he took his TIME cutting her hair. He was precise. Many hairdressers grab scissors and do a fast cut and the results show it. Love how this looks and was surprised that the hair did look fuller. When you pay top dollar you deserve a nice haircut.
So helpful thank you ✨‼️❤️
Glad it was helpful!
I love the way you teach
How could I do something like this at home? Thanks! Looks great!
Hi there! We recommend that you have your hair done by a professional. We would recommend that you locate a Redken Artist in your area. Most Redken Artists have attended extensive training with Sam Villa himself or with the techniques that Sam uses. They are highly skilled and they will be able to help with your hair / any hair challenges!
You can use the link below to locate a Redken Stylist or a Redken Elite Salon in your area!

Thanks for sharing, I have been using this technique on my own hair.
Love it! I'm new to hair styling. These videos are so helpful. Thank you
7.39 The reason why more and more people don't visit a hairdresser anymore.
John Roekoe - EXACTLY.
So true. Fine hair stylists should have a 'certification' so we can find them!
That's why I cut my own hair, I haven't visited a hairdresser for almost 3 years once again (yeah before that i did the same for more than 2 years but i was still a teenager who got a mess on her head lol)

Perfect Narrative
We want something sharp enough because we want to be able to cut through the hair very easily? Wow I can see why you teach this for a living, I'd never have been able to figure that out.
For real though great video man, gave me the confidence to (attempt to) cut my girlfriend's hair during quarantine
Amazing tutorial and we really need someone who is as talented as you are to cut our hair!💕💕💕
Another great cut Anthony Caruthers! Thanks for your education.
Love it. Will use your videos as a guide to judge my search for a hairstylist.
After so many botched haircuts.... This is EXACTLY the technique I need a stylist to use for my hair! Makes so much sense! Now my question.... would a stylist be offended if I asked them to watch this?!? Because... really....how do you explain this????
i found this very helpful. i did my own hair.love it!
How?
Just wondering how to style it if they wear it more messy and texturized…any tips??…thanks for the info!
Andrew✨Thank you so much! You & Sam are absolutely awesome! Such style! Talented you are, well done! I'm not a hair dresser but I sometimes cut my own hair & you guys are so gentle in your teaching & so incredibly classy in your approach, methods, & generosity in sharing with us. Beyond professional & I hope to be able to have one of you cut my hair in the future. I'm in the SF Bay Area. Thank you again! Love Tara 🎶💗🎶
Tara Pilos Thank you SO much for those kind words :-)
I will show this video to my next hairdresser with any shame. Thank you🙏
Thank so much for showing us how to cut hair with yr wonderful technique, love it!
Because of pandemic .I came accross this hair tutorial cut.Very nice and perfect.Thx.for this.Stay safe😊👍
You educate so properly..i really am educating myself by your tricks and tips ..love from Pakistan..❤✌
This qualifies as ASMR (No obnoxious distracting music, calm instructing, soft stylist sounds).
Sounds like a new UA-cam channel waiting to happen :-)
Every aspect of this video and the content was well delivered and this shift makes sense! Going to start using it! Thank you!!!
Might be a dumb question but, can you use this technique on long (midback) fine hair as well?
If you wanted the hair to move away from the face with more of a face frame (farrah fawcett type) could you do this and retain the thickness at the ends on a client with thin hair?
This is great.. Unfortunately I don't know any hairdressers near me who know how to deal with my fine hair. I always dread when they wash my hair too. Ends up in never-ending knots. I wish there were more hairdressers as educated about fine hair. No matter how much dead ends I get cut off I always end up with knotty hair
Make sure your stylist removes the plug from the sink. That little thing will tangle the hell into your fine hair (if it’s long).
SAME
Another annoying thing is they put a ton of shampoo in which we don't Need, so our hair is completely stripped of moisture.
Thank you.
I love your tutorials
So reassuring to watch this. I've been doing a similar technique that I taught myself, it's nice to see that I'm not crazy and other stylists are doing similar things :)
There are many ways to do things and figuring those things out is half the fun! Thanks for watching
Do you have by one n one classes in ct
Chunk km
fhhhjjuj
We all find our own route to achieving the same forms.
Rag curls
I LOVE this haircut! Thank you Andrew!
Thank you .......from Ontario....great demonstration.
Excellent teacher! very clearly explained! Thank you.
Wish this hairdresser was nearby.
kathie ellis, Me too! Glad to be his model any day!!!!!!
kathie ellis yes
Me too! No one ever knows how to cut my fine, thin hair. I end up looking scraggly. Even if I ask for no layers, they always layer.
kathie ellis true...most can't cut fine hair correctly...better off to do it yourself...that's how the Farrah design was made...by cutting it yourself...;-)
blueshoes915. One thing I just learned was to ponytail the lower half of my hair, and tell the stylist you just want thin layers with the top, then your hair isn't getting thinned out like they usually do.
Very cool cutting technique.
What would you do for those who do not have enough hair on their temples? Such as male pattern hairloss
Are you visually establishing your top guide? How did you establish that?
I wish you were in our neighborhood I have you as my hairdresser forever you are fantastic in your precision and what you do thank you so much
This is exactly what I am looking for!! Thanks! !
Do you have a guide to cut your own layered hair this same style?
Beautiful cut!!
Glad you like it!
DOOOOPE CUT BRO!! Most definitely using it in the near future.
