Adhesions are fibrous bands of scar tissue that bind different soft tissues (muscle, tendon, ligament, nerve, fascia) together that shouldn't be connected.
Adhesions can lead to pain, weakness, reduced flexibility and mobility.

Could you See Adhesion in the lower Leg in a mri Image?
Most of what we do in our office is via expert palpation to find adhesion, but I have heard of adhesion being seen on MRI if it's large enough.

Thanks for the question, yes, I have lot of patients who have had chronic issues for years get relief because adhesion was the main cause and no one else was looking for it or fixing it for them.
Tools are just one method, manual therapy with the hands is really one of the best ways and the newest treatment that helps is shockwave therapy too.
