    Hope you enjoyed this amazing winter train experience!
    Additional information FYI:
    Numbers of seats in the dome car reserved for Prestige class passengers vary throughout the day & days. I think however, the very first row seats were always reserved.
    During the Peak season (generally May-October), sleeper class passengers can only access the park car during specific times, so check ahead!
    There are a few more outlets spread out throughout the train besides the park car, which can get a bit competitive!
    Eastbound trains (Vancouver -> Toronto) were always cheaper than Westbound trains (Toronto -> Vancouver) when I was planning, but I don't know if this is always the case throughout the year.
    I came across this great opportunity while editing Around America videos and I thought I'll upload this first while things are still fresh in my mind! Now I'll get back to Around America videos (and my Korean channel too for those watching both😁)
    Let me know if you have any questions 😁😁

      Great choice. That time of the year should offer more variety of scenes!!

    Nice commentary and I like your humour. When we travelled from Toronto last May the Rockies were mostly hidden by wildfire smoke, so thanks for the landscape views (in between the billions of trees! and the frieght trains!)

    I have been on this train 51x since 1964. It used to only take 67 hours Vancouver-Toronto until the 1980s.

      I heard that that was the case back then! It must have been a different experience then!

    How did you decide who would get the upper berth?

    • @SoloTravelSolTube
      @SoloTravelSolTube  Місяць тому

      Via Rail assigns your berth upon purchase of the ticket. I heard you may be able to switch to lower or upper for free by calling them but haven't actually tried (there's a fee to change online)

    Nice views! Were you able to try their maple syrup?!

      As 'controversial' as it may sound; I prefer my pancakes without any syrup!!!😁

    What are you talking about? It hardly ever rains in Vancouver. It drizzles a whole lot though.
