This was such a lovely video and I enjoyed your story telling along the way . Made it really interesting 😊. I am an Aussie , but planning to do this trip next year . My parents were penpals ( my dad lived in Australia and my mum was living in Canada. My dad proposed to her over the phone in 1966, then saved up for 12 months and took a ship from Sydney to Vancouver. My mum met him there and they took this train in April 1967 from Vancouver to Toronto and they married in Toronto in June 1967. It’s always been a dream of mine to take the train journey myself . Watching your video brought a tear my eye ❤

I took the Canadian a few years ago and will be doing so again this December (solo, same as you) as part of a round-the-continent-by-rail journey. I think what I especially liked about the video was how personal it was, while still including the sights, sounds, and flavors of the journey. Your reactions to events along the way, and your feelings about the experience, really added to my enjoyment. Best wishes as you develop the channel.
I enjoyed the video, I rode The Canadian to Toronto last June in an upper berth and then came home in a cabin for one like you had. Both ways the trip seemed to be over so soon. I hope I will be able to o it again, I am sure you feel the same way.
Great video im glad you met your friends you are so sweet,I’m going in the fall really looking forward to it thanks for posting ,I have the cabin for one it’s small but I think better than the berths more private,did you get to sit alone for all meals?nice to have the option I guess it depends how many are on the trip
Solo diners were always sat with others and tables were 3-4 people during all lunch and dinner. Occasionally during breakfast when there weren't as many people, there were a few tables with only two people! Glad you enjoyed the video, hope you have a great experience!

I found out you had to ASK for the cheese if you wanted it on your burger! They didn't offer it or mention it, only on request. Weird.
Oh how weird indeed.
Now that I think about it, there were other menus items with cheese in it, so perhaps they just add it upon request!
