the '90 what a wonderfull years for heavy music. Demanufacture one of the best album of that period, and the concert in Milan in '99 one of the best i have ever seen.Greattttttttt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
First time I heard this song was when the first mortal kombat movie came out -- the fight between Scorpion and Johnny Cage I think it was...then I bought the CD and couldn't stop listening. Those were the days..
started listening it 1999 after obsolete now is 2012 ..how madball says ..times are changing .but Will never stop listening to Fear Factory ..cheers to everybody :)
I second lizaable's opinion. This was Fear Factory in their PRIME. F--KING TUNE!! Easily one of the best Metal songs ever! A SORDID MESH.......TURNING TO DUST I AM SOOOO NUMB........
@MartyMoves Love it! LOL. First saw FF on the small stage at a Chicago Ozzfest show back in 96 or 97! Awesome energy. Recently tried to sind the intro to this and almost passed out from the SCREAMING!!
I used to practice my martial arts moves while I listened to this song. Because this song was played in the Mortal Kombat movie where Johnny Cage fights Scorpion I GO FUCKING MENTAL!!!!
brings back memories....I remember seeing them at the Birch Hill in Old Bridge, NJ back in 96. They had this dark, clinical energy to them that Obsolete and the other crap they've released just completely destroyed. I know they went for the buck, but, man, the first two albums kick so much ass. If only they had stayed true to it...oh well...good memories indeed.
definitely man...after that show I couldn't feel my neck cuz I was goin nuts :D...Favorite Band, first live show of em and the show was brilliant...I feel kinda sorry for you dude! if you are a great fan of Fear Factory you would have loved it!!!!
edgecrusher is fuckin amazing live!!! they are the greatest metal group i've see in a very long time!!! and not one other band can top their live show!
Agree!!! I saw them last night in Brussels, and they played zero signal, it was great! I don't remember how many years ago I last heard zero signal, but yesterday was heaven, and they played a lot of demanufacture! Checkout my vids I've uploaded zero signal and a couple of other songs from yesterday's show.
Burton and Dino Have reformed Fear Factory with Byron Stroud and Gene Hoglan from Strapping Young Lad. They are working on a new album and are playing Bloodstock and Sonisphere later this year.
amazing song FF always has good songs but this one i could fit perfectly with whats giong on in my life rite now. So to FF i cant wait for there new cd and tour.
best vocalist of all time man... that exploding growl in his voice comes out perfect in this vid man. no one will ever beat this band or burts vocal.... FF 4ever
Yeah I would have to keep my eyes and ears open for the next Fear Factory concert as I hope they do one in England sometime. I've been to see Wednesday 13 before but I would love to go to a Fear Factory concert.
@Doa744 of course. Zero Signal (Instrumental) is contained in CARMAGEDDON OST (1997) with other songs as DEMANUFACTURE and BODY HAMMER if I remember well.
I got this CD when it came out back when I was 5 after asking my dad for it because EVEN THEN, I thought this song was the shit. Demanufacture forever changed my life
I rekon. Back then everybody enjoyed the music they enjoyed and that was it. No one complained, labled, put down each other for it, or any of the like. Music was for idividual enjoyment by idividual people.
I have to say it the drumming in this song is the best!!!!!!!!!! Ive been trying to play this on my drums and i cant because i dont know the right tecneqe to use

the '90 what a wonderfull years for heavy music. Demanufacture one of the best album of that period, and the concert in Milan in '99 one of the best i have ever seen.Greattttttttt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
this band, especially Raymond Herrera, does not get near enough credit for the influence they've had on all of heavy music.
After 3 years you still so right!!! For me the seeds of the dgent shit started with Fear Factory/Raymond and his awsome drum beats.
Burton gets a lot of credit for the vocal style
Maybe not “mainstream”, but back when you could still by CDs and get liner notes, many metal artists acknowledged Fear Factory during the 2000s
im still calling this old school, since its around 20 years old. oldie and a goodie
Mortal Kombat, carmageddon, the sound of the destruction and the creation. For me, one of best metal themes ever.
Also Demolition derby game
Absolutely amazing, one of my favorite bands of all time!
