i think it is because of the AI cores and AV1 and if you dont care for the latter the AI cores might be useful later for something. Thing about it like an investment.
@@xffriskk Bottleneck or not, it depends on what you're working on. For gaming at 1080p with high settings on AAA games, it should be safe. For competitive gaming, I would recommend at least going for the Ryzen 5700X for slightly better 1% performance.

Hopefully the 7800 and 7800 xt do better, because this is terrible performance. Both Nvidia and AMD refuse to give us a performance improvement on the low end.

If you want to be able to keep your gpu around for games that come out in the future this 270 gpu is simply burning your money away.

It's an overstatement to say that it does ray tracing decently. It doesn't. But without RT it's really fast, you can do 1440p on high settings.
