You have restored my faith in not being perfect. I thought 'chasing' a fallen but still upright tree, was something only beginners did, but seeing that even professionals experience the same thing, has restored by confidence. Thanks. As always great videos and scenery
I've worked in hard rock quarries here in Australia. Some Pink Rock is called ignambrite. Igneous Rock is volcanic. All the best .🎉 ❤ from Australia 🇦🇺
It's weird how coincidence works because when I started watching this one I was wondering if there were videos of flying the logs out. Thank you for reading my mind.
Old loggers never die, They just watch Bjarne Butler, Keep up the good Work buddy. Thanks for the link to the helicopter logging part, I’ve always wanted to see some of that. PS worked around a lot of timber fellers, You’re one of the best…👍
Thank you. I just gotta say the crew I’m currently with are also top notch fallers. A good crew that gets along sure makes work life much more enjoyable and productive too. 👍
Always interested in any info or video of the skidding birds. So much so in fact whenever they were flying within view it always seemed to have an adverse effect on my days sawing productivity for some reason.
Dumb question but I was trying to look up the 90 degree branches these trees grow, Bjarne refers to them as Scoon arms? I am probably misspelling. What is the correct spelling/technical name
Hi Carter. I believe it’s spelled: school-marm. It’s a tree branch that turn 90* and grows straight up. It can sometimes be higher than the original top. Usually the top will die and the school-marm will keep growing. 🤙

Even the best fallers get pinched once in a while. 😂. Great work as always.

Another great video.
And I got to see how you fence post.
Morning Bjarne, nice cutting. There was a weird echo on your first tree. Made it sound like you were in a studio. Lol!!
That’s cool. I have thought about getting a better mic. I should put that on my “camp” list
Thank you.

" The Master " is at it again. I still think that the graphic image of you stumping that big one would make a great Tee shirt
Ya I should put more time into making another T-shirt design 🤙
And thats why the axle handle keeps breaking. Thanks for all the videos
Bjarne. How long after you’ve finished does the heli crews arrive to pickup the trees? 👍🏴
Sometimes before we’re finished. But usually it’s a couple weeks after we’re done cutting.
Do they come in and plant new trees after they harvest the big ones ?
Yes we are required by law to replant every cutblock.

That fir was a hopeless case or as you usually mention , it could have been worse.
