I hear from so many of you that you put these 2 classes into your regular rotation.
So, I decided to create yet another version of daily hatha yoga poses that you should do everyday.
The way I think about yoga has changed a a little bit over the years, and this class reflects that thinking. It includes more mobility practices for your joints. It focuses on strengthening your body. It focuses on connecting you with your spirit. It has a focus on pranayama and regulating your nervous system.
However, I still care about making sure you are rested and that your spine moves in all directions, it is just that I understand better about how to move your body so that you are not in pain and so that your nervous system stays regulated.
So here is my gift to you, an updated, 12 poses you should do every day!

I really liked this class - I will try to find similar classes (with some gentle strengthening and movement) on the membership community. I've been having atypical face pain with light sensitivity for a week now which I am trying to manage conservatively - with evening walks and rest and today with some movement. Thank you for giving so many options that we can benefit from no matter what state one is in. Lots of love!

I did my new 12 poses. I really enjoyed the different energy and perspective you are bringing. It's inspiring to see you evolving in your practice, your sharing an important reminder that we have permission to adapt as we grow, change, and age. I do have a question. My knees can barely handle the pressure from the floor that lunges put on them, even with padding. Any suggestions for how to modify the 5th pose with the standing up and going back down into the lunge? Thanks so much and may you continue to grow and heal as you share your gifts. 🌼
Hi Nancy, thanks for encouraging me to continue to grow and evolve. If your knees can't handle the pressure of the floor, then you can use your leg muscles and do a suspended lunge, like a high lunge, or more like a knee front, hip front warrior one, then bring your knee through, so just don't bring your knee all the way to the ground.

Hi Melissa, as I have had a hip replacement and advised not to do internal rotation... what modification would you advise for the 90/90 pose please. Love your unique style❤
Hi Helen - I would work with your physiotherapist and find out what range of motion movements are best for a hip replacement.
