I'd consider wally's reverse flash, zoom, as a good option as well. It's been a while but zolomon has the idea of making flash a better hero ingrained into his character, and I think that that concept could easily be parlayed into a replacement storyline. Additionally he plays decently well with others as he helped get cheetah past her mental blocks to reach a higher level of speed.
Great video! My only critiques is that you could find an excuse to have Lex Luthor wear Superman armor like maybe Superman is dead or thought to be dead and Luthor is promoting himself as a "friend" of Superman hence the public accepting his new armor. As for Sinestro you could make it so Luthor and Maxwell Lord simply condition the public to accept an alien lantern as there are many such lanterns and maybe have Lex manipulate the public into believing Sinestro was an ally of Hal, John, or even Kyle Rayner without the public knowing the full story of Sinestro's betrayal of the Green Lanterns. You could use that idea as a means to have Sinestro remain in his alien form whilst maintaining his position as the new Green Lantern.
I always imagine a story arc for DC combine the Dark Avengers and Flashpoint. In this story we shaw Luthor using a mix of Reverse Flash's time travel powers and some magic from Circe to reshape the world into one where Superman and the Justice League never existed and he alongside other villains are the only superheroes of Earth. Krypton never blew up, Thomas and Martha Wayne never died, Steve Trevor died before met Diana, Barry Allen was put into a coma etc. And Martian Manhunter who is the only one that remembers the original timeline goes to Krypton and with Kal-El try to figure out what's going on.
Weirdly enough DC kinda had their own “Dark Avengers” type team in the New 52’s Forever Evil. Led by Batman and Lex Luthor, the team consisted of Bizzaro, Catwoman, Black Manta, Black Adam, Sinestro, and Captain Cold. Shame they didn’t do anything with the team after that event, could’ve been interesting to see a team like that together again.
You could have Mirror Master be Flash’s replacement. He doesn’t have the speed force, but his powers do let him get from point a to point b faster, so he could try to fool the public and use his powers in a way that makes it seem like he has the speed force, which would be interesting to see.

As soon as you brought up the idea of Sinestro disguising himself as John Stewart, I immediately thought of that one episode of Static Shock where Sinestro did just that to frame him as a villain. Granted, for that appearance, he achieved his disguise by stealing Stewart's power battery and I doubt it works that way in the comics depending on the writer, but still, maybe your version could use a similar method.
New 52 Donna Troy would've fit this cause Lex might have got into her mind after knowing the truth of her past that she was made to kill Wonder Woman and she's at her lowest thinking she's a bad guy the whole time

I feel like if you wanted an anti-batman that actually looked a lot like him, Wrath is basically perfect for that because his suit is already basically reddish purple Batman already. But he's not used as much as some others so his character isnt as fleshed out. I think the New 52 gave him like a makeover but he hasnt been used since iirc.
I think some of the pics that you did for potential Dark Justice league is very good and even some creative ideas for it. My list would be like this. My first pick would be Lex Luthor but in a clone body of ultraman, yes I know about the clone of Superman aka superboy, but the reason why I say a clone body of Ultraman is because Luthor always felt he deserves godlike power and what better way than to put his mind the inside of a body that resembles the man of steel minus certain weaknesses that his evil doppelgänger has. For a dark version of Wonder Woman I would go with Aresia which makes the most sense considering that she was using the Amazon’s way of doing things to the fullest, granted she may have a hard time working with some of her male counterparts, but if you have someone that can control her like Dr. Psycho and Maxwell Lord keep her in check then she can be a force to reckoned with. A Dark Batman would be Jean Paul Valley which is perfect in my opinion since he was a more effective Dark Knight where he was practically a carbon copy of both batman and deathstroke. Now for Flash I would agree with Godspeed being the best choice, but for me it I would pick Hunter Zolomon. Reason being is that he is like a more experienced evil flash compared to Zoom and he was able to best both Barry and his nephews Wally and Wallace. For their green lantern it would be Guy Gardner and the reason for that pic is, like Jason with the bat family, he is the black sheep of the lanterns (Hal and John respectively) and with his Dirty Harry persona he could be the rogue that has trust issues. Rounding out the rest is Merlin for Arrow, Orm for Aquaman, I would put Lady Shiva as Black Canary with a special sonic scream device that luthor can create to mimic Dinah’s canary cry, the Shazam role can be filled by Black Adam’s young progeny Osiris.
I think it would make sense to have the Dark Justice League form after a period where the main Justice League had some degree of ongoing bad press while Lex Luthor was building up a good reputation. That way, after a conflict that leads to the Justice League on the run, injured or inactive, Lex Luthor could swoop in with his alternate team. Instead of being a bunch of imposters, the villains would function as a new replacement team under a strong leader. The replacement idea could allow Sinestro to present himself as an alien, as he would be this team’s replacement for the usual Green Lantern, while not disguising himself as that person. They could still do the villain-in-disguise idea, but not try and sell themselves as the actual people for the whole team.

I kinda feel that it would make more sense if this was a replacement team; such as if the entire Justice League gets wiped out, no one really credible is left to defend Earth. What I think is nice about that idea is that you could involve Amanda Waller, the Demon's Head, Vandal Savage, and likely other characters. Yes, they have problematic motives, but at the end of the day, these characters still care about the 'well-being' of the planet.
I think if you wanted to make a shorter 1 arc-ish story where a hero uncovers the plot, you make Martian Manhunter Clayface. Batman or Flash could find clay at the crime scene and uncover the full plot from there
And the counter to your Batman argument for me is, I could see Jason being a spy for the rest of the family so joining this dark justice league as a second agent and or by force kind of like how the century was on the avengers because they threatened his wife if I remembered that right, they threatened to kill his wife several times soI could see Luther threatening Damien or Barbara or the bat family which forces him to join the dark Justice league
I have an argument for why Eobard Thawne would fit on the team. I’m guessing the normal JL and most other heroes would be missing in this story. I imagine Thawne is playing nice with the other members for the sole purpose of seeing Flash’s face when he realizes Thawn is being treated like a hero. It would be one of the biggest FUs he could ever give him, being “just as good” of a Flash as Flash.
I agree with Lex and Maxwell lord i would also like to propose Vandal savage as well due to many experinces and knowing how people (the public) operates I can see why Jason could be an option and i somewhat agree but i feel Azreal would fit really well (especially in the Batsuit he had) into who's the better Batman For WW i was thinking circe but I feel Barbara would be better and you can have a situation where shes fighting for darkseid or try to help Mr. Miracle but is at the mercy of darkseid. Plus she's a far better muscle mommy. To me, I'd put this story in the aftermath of Blackest Night/Brightest Day The resurrection of Maxwell Lord by the entity of life could be used to spin the public's perception and allow Maxwell Lord to have a tighter grip when it comes to politics

What would be your perfect justice society of america lineup. For me, it would be 7 heroes (because the justice league has a main 7 that seems like the goal number of people to make a team) that represent their own sides of the dc universe, no bat family or speedsters etc. Icon (the superman leader face of the team, strongest); hawkman (the wonderwoman more muscle uses weapons); captain atom (green lantern third powerhouse); the question (batman tactician and detective); atom(we need a scientific mind on the team); Zatanna (the magic member) and red tornado ( the outcast Martian manhunter) Edit: it may be weird having both captain atom and the atom on the same team. I could replace atom with ted kord blue beetle but im not sure since hes supposed to be dead.

If you’re supposed to use all villains for the dark justice league, I would use knockout for Wonder Woman and just have her wear a wig. For Batman, I would use deathstroke, for Superman I will use the eradicator or bizarro, from Martian Manhunter. I will use his brother, for Aquaman, I will use his brother, Merlin for Green arrow, silver banshee for black Canary, reverse flash for the flash, Sinestro for Green Lantern.
I've thought about this as well. What I think would work is this: Luke Cage/Power-Man = Mark Richards/ The Tattooed Man It's been a while since I've read Ink but as far as street level guys in DC goes I think Mark Richards fits the role well. A family man like Cage and ex-military he has that relatable every man side to his character as well. Danny Rand/Iron Fist = Tim Drake/Red Robin His hand to hand skills might not be on the level of Batman or Nightwing but his mind makes up for the rest. His skills as a hacker, detective and analyst would come in handy with whatever case comes their way. He was able to deduce Bruce Wayne was Batman, no small feat at all since both R'as Al Ghul and Lex Luthor have done the same but he did it as a kid. Danny comes from wealth while Tim was adopted by Bruce so there's that as well. I don't know if I'd want to see him keep the Robin persona while partnered with anyone else aside from Batman, it's just make him look like he can't stand on his own outside of the Bat Family.

@@rfisher89 The series wasn't bad, it was called 'Final Crisis: Ink'. It kinda reminded of 'The Wire' with super powers since Mark reminded me of Cutty. It's been over 10 years since I read it but that was my reaction to it. It was one of the first books I read since getting back into comics after some time away. Deathstroke recruited Mark for his Titans team so if Slade can recognize his skills and talents that should say something. Tim being the middle child of the Bat-Family could lend itself to why he steps away from Gotham for a while and crosses paths with The Tattoed-Man striking up a friendship/partnership.

For their green lantern it would be Guy Gardner and the reason for that pic is, like Jason with the bat family, he is the black sheep of the lanterns (Hal and John respectively) and with his Dirty Harry persona he could be the rogue that has trust issues.
Rounding out the rest is Merlin for Arrow, Orm for Aquaman, I would put Lady Shiva as Black Canary with a special sonic scream device that luthor can create to mimic Dinah’s canary cry, the Shazam role can be filled by Black Adam’s young progeny Osiris.
I think it would make sense to have the Dark Justice League form after a period where the main Justice League had some degree of ongoing bad press while Lex Luthor was building up a good reputation. That way, after a conflict that leads to the Justice League on the run, injured or inactive, Lex Luthor could swoop in with his alternate team. Instead of being a bunch of imposters, the villains would function as a new replacement team under a strong leader.
The replacement idea could allow Sinestro to present himself as an alien, as he would be this team’s replacement for the usual Green Lantern, while not disguising himself as that person. They could still do the villain-in-disguise idea, but not try and sell themselves as the actual people for the whole team.
I actually remember responding to a comment asking the same question so my team would be:
Lex as the superman role within the team, but eradicator being the one actively posing as him
Jason todd as batman with his battle for the cowl suit
Artemis as wonder woman
Daniel West as the flash
Frank liminski as a larfleeze powered orange lantern of 2814 (maybe he finds a way to pose his suit as green to live out his fantasy of being a green lantern)
Orm as aquaman
Black adam as SHAZAM/captain marvel
Merlin as green arrow

I'd say for the Black Canary situation, you could just have Lex, Maxwell, or even someone like Toyman make a device that replicates the Canary Cry.
Kind of a weird idea, but an alternate lineup Fantastic Four video could be fun. Maybe limited to people who were briefly members like She-Hulk and Spider-Man, maybe just heroes who fit the roles well, etc. Could be interesting to see some of the dynamics.

Just to add a little more to the Artemis storyline for being a counterpart would be that max lord use his powers to manipulate her to be on the team yk
I kinda feel that it would make more sense if this was a replacement team; such as if the entire Justice League gets wiped out, no one really credible is left to defend Earth.
What I think is nice about that idea is that you could involve Amanda Waller, the Demon's Head, Vandal Savage, and likely other characters. Yes, they have problematic motives, but at the end of the day, these characters still care about the 'well-being' of the planet.
I think if you wanted to make a shorter 1 arc-ish story where a hero uncovers the plot, you make Martian Manhunter Clayface. Batman or Flash could find clay at the crime scene and uncover the full plot from there
And the counter to your Batman argument for me is, I could see Jason being a spy for the rest of the family so joining this dark justice league as a second agent and or by force kind of like how the century was on the avengers because they threatened his wife if I remembered that right, they threatened to kill his wife several times soI could see Luther threatening Damien or Barbara or the bat family which forces him to join the dark Justice league
I have an argument for why Eobard Thawne would fit on the team. I’m guessing the normal JL and most other heroes would be missing in this story. I imagine Thawne is playing nice with the other members for the sole purpose of seeing Flash’s face when he realizes Thawn is being treated like a hero. It would be one of the biggest FUs he could ever give him, being “just as good” of a Flash as Flash.

I can see why Jason could be an option and i somewhat agree but i feel Azreal would fit really well (especially in the Batsuit he had) into who's the better Batman
For WW i was thinking circe but I feel Barbara would be better and you can have a situation where shes fighting for darkseid or try to help Mr. Miracle but is at the mercy of darkseid. Plus she's a far better muscle mommy.

What would be your perfect justice society of america lineup. For me, it would be 7 heroes (because the justice league has a main 7 that seems like the goal number of people to make a team) that represent their own sides of the dc universe, no bat family or speedsters etc. Icon (the superman leader face of the team, strongest); hawkman (the wonderwoman more muscle uses weapons); captain atom (green lantern third powerhouse); the question (batman tactician and detective); atom(we need a scientific mind on the team); Zatanna (the magic member) and red tornado ( the outcast Martian manhunter)

If you’re supposed to use all villains for the dark justice league, I would use knockout for Wonder Woman and just have her wear a wig. For Batman, I would use deathstroke, for Superman I will use the eradicator or bizarro, from Martian Manhunter. I will use his brother, for Aquaman, I will use his brother, Merlin for Green arrow, silver banshee for black Canary, reverse flash for the flash, Sinestro for Green Lantern.

I've thought about this as well. What I think would work is this:
Luke Cage/Power-Man = Mark Richards/ The Tattooed Man
It's been a while since I've read Ink but as far as street level guys in DC goes I think Mark Richards fits the role well. A family man like Cage and ex-military he has that relatable every man side to his character as well.
Danny Rand/Iron Fist = Tim Drake/Red Robin
His hand to hand skills might not be on the level of Batman or Nightwing but his mind makes up for the rest. His skills as a hacker, detective and analyst would come in handy with whatever case comes their way. He was able to deduce Bruce Wayne was Batman, no small feat at all since both R'as Al Ghul and Lex Luthor have done the same but he did it as a kid. Danny comes from wealth while Tim was adopted by Bruce so there's that as well. I don't know if I'd want to see him keep the Robin persona while partnered with anyone else aside from Batman, it's just make him look like he can't stand on his own outside of the Bat Family.

@@rfisher89 The series wasn't bad, it was called 'Final Crisis: Ink'. It kinda reminded of 'The Wire' with super powers since Mark reminded me of Cutty. It's been over 10 years since I read it but that was my reaction to it. It was one of the first books I read since getting back into comics after some time away. Deathstroke recruited Mark for his Titans team so if Slade can recognize his skills and talents that should say something.
Tim being the middle child of the Bat-Family could lend itself to why he steps away from Gotham for a while and crosses paths with The Tattoed-Man striking up a friendship/partnership.
Alternative option for Batman: Batwoman. She shot Clayface when he was trying to redeem himself, I think she's got a mean streak in her.
