Marvel NEEDS to RECAST the MCU

- Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars will culminate the end of the Multiverse Saga of the MCU, and it seems as if Marvel Studios is going all in on bringing back old actors. Hugh Jackman and Wesley Snipes in Deadpool & Wolverine, Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom, and Chris Evans as the Human Torch, just to name a few. At the same time, however, it seems as if they’re laying the groundwork to properly introduce the new X-Men and Fantastic Four for the supposed soft reboot. A soft reset could benefit new iterations of characters like Black Panther, Iron Man, the Hulk, and Thor, with new actors at the helm. Not everyone will or should be recast-Tom Holland as Spider-Man and Charlie Cox as Daredevil are safe bets for staying another decade. Sam Wilson as Captain America probably won’t be recast either.

Honestly all I want from this (if a soft reboot happens) is to get the old hulk back
Same. I am big fan of hulk. Read lot of Hulk comic. Immortal hulk is so fascinating
@@danishiqbal2963Immortal Hulk is cool, I like this run a lot.
Hulk definitely needs new solo movies.
I would like the rebooted Cap and Iron Man getting their movies as well, would be great.
Now all of the sudden y’all like the hulk so damn much lol.
@Anthonycheesman33 I mean it makes sense after almost 7 years of not seeing hulk be hulk fr even hulk haters are gonna convert and be like "wtf marvel how are you fumbling Unga Bunga man"
What you gotta remember is when people said “no other actor could play the character as well as Christopher Reeves”, they were kinda right, but that didn’t matter.
Even if the new Iron man isn’t as good as RDJ, that doesn’t matter. If they’re good in their own right that’s enough. That’s how it was for Spider-man. Tobey, Andrew, and Tom are all playing different versions of the same character, each with their own different spin. That’s good, we clearly all liked that.
Better to say “I liked the old actor more” than for them to be the last actor
I’ve never understood how people think another actor couldn’t play a particular character I’m mean why can’t a new actor get a chance to play iron man or captain America we need new actors for these characters.
And Thor. And Hulk. And Ant-Man, and multiple other Avengers.
These are Marvel characters. Marvel and DC have a vast multiverse with infinite universes, some with more changes, some with almost no changes.
Why can't more people play comic book characters? We have 3 live action Spider-Men already.
@@seregagerassimov4864personally I'd keep thor and maybe ant man
I completed agree people that want an actor to play the same actor their entire lives for ALL OF TIME. Are just people completely resistant to any form of change. Like guys obviously there’s so many other actors that can play them so we don’t have people doing this until their 90 it’s ridiculous to think so
@@uchihabomber1296Its like folks forget actors age,get a lot more pricey and even reach a point where they understandably don't want to play the character anymore. I think a big part of the reason ppl are resistant is because for many those were their introduction to those characters and the thought of others taking their place is unrealistic
People are more clingy these days. Look how hard they clung to Chadwick's mid/bad performance. But they insisted no one could replace him.
Marvel should RECAST TCHALLA‼️
Idgaf, they should stop trying to make black panther about other black panthers and wakanda
Agreed, RIP Chadwick Boseman, but T’Challa is too good of a character to never use again. And not sure if it’s a hot take but I didn’t really like Black Panther 2.
@@BatFlash52its not black panther 2 could never be as good as it needed to be because Boseman’s death. So most people watched it with a different lense. It was at least better than the garbage that most of phase 4 had
Been saying the same thing, with all due respect but Chadwick is an actor he's not the real T'challa/Black panther.
Just because the actor died doesn't mean the character has to die as well
Panther his multiple stories that have yet to be told
TOTALLY AGREEMENT! Love Chadwick but the Black Panther character is way too important - even for the culture!
Shuri is currently Black Panther, and her brother's son is still too young.
Don’t be surprised when Secret Wars comes out, pulls a Crisis on Infinite Earths from DC and reboots the whole franchise from scratch with new fresh faces as more and more people start to pine for Iron Man and Captain America content.
That's what I genuinely want.
I want some new Iron Man movies dawg. Iron Man has a lot of iconic stories to adapt, and will also give us a proper Iron Man vs Mandarin (I like Iron Man 3 btw). But still, more movies in general.
@seregagerassimov4864 for real. Ghost (they're an Iron Man villain initially), Titanium Man, Crimson Dynamo, Blizzard, Ultimo, Madame Masque, etc. Iron Man has WAY MORE important villains and characters in his world.
I recently found out that Pepper wasn't originally Tony's love interest. She was Happy Hogan's love interest in the comics until MCU synergy ( and the Armored Adventures show) did otherwise
@@SecretMagician Iron Man's villains are severely underrated in my opinion. Hope that the Motive game that is coming out has a time for them to shine.
You also forgot Justin Hammer, Count Nefaria, Tyberus Stone, MODOK, Whiplash, Unicorn and of course The Mandarin as some of the more reccuring and important villains.
I’ve always considered Secret Wars (2015) a knockoff of Crisis on Infinite Earths.
The argument about recasting is ridiculous. There have been so many fellas who’ve played Superman, Batman, and Spider-Man who wouldn’t bat an eye lash. But as soon as someone says Captain America or Iron Man, they go ape about it.
There have always been people who say that no one can play a comic book character better than the last actor who did. But nobody listened to them before.
These are the arguments from fake fans, the casual movie audience trying too hard. These actors are merely adaptation, none of them are the physical manifestation of that very character. Not Hugh Jackman, not Ben Affleck, and definitely not RDJ. They are actors, they have a personality outside of being fictional superheroes you know?
@@kail4997All adaptations of characters have strengths and weaknesses as an adaptation. There is no “definitive” adaptation.
To be fair, that’s probably because these are the only live action versions of characters like Cap and Iron Man around/that people actually care about (let’s just ignore the versions of Cap before Evans) meanwhile Superman, Batman, and Spider-Man have been rebooted so many times now that people are more used to it, but I’m sure that’ll also be the case for Tony, Steve, and other MCU characters (along with any DC characters that people might say that for like Aquaman or something) whenever they are eventually rebooted
Preach. Some characters have been done dirty. I need a non nerfed T’Challa. He is the super genius not Shuri. She is Griot and thus a Druid. He needs to be a Sage Warrior King and not Captain Wakanda. Hulk needs to be Savage and not Starks sidekick. Banner hates the military industrial complex. Of the main heroic marvel superheroes genius. Banner should like Stark the least. Thor let’s not make him a joke, dark adult fantasy is ascendant for novels and ain’t that hard to get right
Thank u
And Wolverine should be a short king.
I love jackman but i do genuinely think after secret wars he does need to hang up the claws forever on screen, give a new fresh actor the role of logan who can be what jackman was to a new generation of fans who'll be introduced to the character in the mcu
Yeah I would like to see a new wolverine in this new era
Best way to do it is reboot fully keeping a handful of actors and at the end show is multiple universes in which Hugh and RDJ and all of them remain knowing they still in universe exist but no longer will be playing. That could also open the idea of comics for those universes
@@jonathanhill3668uh
Last I checked
The mcu hires people who only know the bare minimum of the characters or stories
Honestly they should make him old man Logan
Say that to the guys behind She-Hulk and Secret Invasion. They either were told not to read the comics or did their own thing for "tHE MEssAgE."
@Acnologia-r3g
Iron man, captain America, hulk, tchalla, wolverine and the x-men all need a recast. The only actor I’m ok with returning is deadpool Ryan Reynolds and Kelsey grammer as beast cause he’s mainly gonna be cgi anyways so u can have him come back as a rebooted beast that has nothing to do with the fox era
If they decide to hang it up, I'm thinking Freddie Stroma (Vigilante) as the new Deadpool, and I'm blanking on Beast.
Batman is getting a spot on the Walk of Fame. That would make him the first superhero ever to get one. What do you think about that?
It's a cool idea given how many versions of Batman have been put to screens throughout the years.
Although a shame the likes of Superman didn't get one ( Even if he doesn't have as many movies as Batman. )
I highly expect Spider-Man to join that list btw, it seems inevitable.
Batman deserves it definitely but if anyone gets it after him it should definitely be Superman
I find it weird cause 1. It's for stars/actors/real people idk if any other fictional character has a Hollywood star.
2. Don't homeless people sleep and or pee on most of Hollywood
@@Achieme For 1. There are plenty of fictional characters on the walk of fame 2. Yes
@@Achieme People like Godzilla, Bugs Bunny and Mickey Mouse all have stars
Honestly I want more stand-alone projects from Marvel, like what DC used to do in its animated movies Because the MCU has become forced to be present in most Marvel projects, even if it has no relation to them
For real, MCU was the reason really for why Avengers Earth's Mightiest Heroes were discontinued and replaced with Avengers Assemble. I like Assemble, but it's heavily MCUfied.
MCU immense succes has been a detriment for a majority if stuff and I hope Marvel don't bank on it too much again. Also bring back EMH.
@@seregagerassimov4864 I find it kind of funny and sad at the same time how every week DC does a new reboot and does more stand-alone projects, unlike Marvel, which has not yet reboot the MCU
@@stanzzero6108yeah. I like MCU, but it definitely needs a reboot. When Secret Wars comes out, it will be ALMOST 20 YEARS old, which is crazy if you think about it.
I remember when The Dark Knight came out, there was a petition to retire The Joker for live action. They were saying Heath Ledger did such a great job, that no one else should be able to ever play him ever again, just like how no one gets the number 23 in the Chicago Bulls anymore. I wish I was making this up.
Marvel should recast everybody except Daredevil, Kate Bishop, Yelena Belova, Kamala Khan and Bullseye.
You forgot Spider-Man and King ping
Jk Simmons as j jonah jameson is the only one who should stay
I agree Wolverine needs a new actor.
I’m hoping they recast after secret wars. I want to see new actors take on these roles and people shouldn’t get mad. We’ve seen Batman, Superman and spider man recasted so many times. Why is recasting the avengers any different?
Calverine for the win!
Fuck yes I just ask that he does his own thing with logan while still keeping him logan.
Nothing against Cavill but I think a younger unknown who can realistically play Wolverine for a decade+ would work better he'd be a great Captain Britain tho
@@Kalel2.0No one really cares Captain Britian that much. I'll doubt he ever get his own solo movie
Edit: I edited the comment.
@@Vilgax00I mean he does he was asked last year o believe what Marvel character he'd like to play and Captain Britain was who he listed and the character is underrated and a actor of his talent and likability could make him popular
@@Kalel2.0 Wolverine is also one of the characters he wanted to play. So at this point it is clear which character he is going to play. Besides, he is very passinote with his roles. They would make 15 movies with him before he hits the 65. They did 10(probably will be 11) with Hugh Jackman. And it was Fox, whom has a much more terrible track record than Marvel. So it is preety possible.
I fw ur channel heavy
ong, watching this at work rn 🤣💯
I don't take this guy seriously mainly because some of his arguments are poor and make zero sense and tbh the only option I agree with is the hulk and black panther beyond that people need to realize that we as an audience don't ha🎉 control on what happens and while they should def be better movies in the future people also need to realize that we aren't the one writing the script we don't pay for the actors or anything as someone who use to write a lot and wants to get back into it unless your willing to put in the effort itself writing isn't easy and at the end of the day we should all find a common middle ground instead of acting like we know what's best
Peter B. Parker is from 616-B, so I think it may be a universe close to the 616 but not the 616
My personal head cannon is that it's 616-M
Actors are people. We have expiration dates. They should try to make the most with the time the actor has and use age to their advantage. Literally have the actor pass the torch in story or something. But also new actors are inevitable
Yes we need a new tchalla enough time has past also should’ve just recast kang your doing multiverse u could’ve gotten away with it
Fr. They had set him so well but bc it seems they can’t separate actor from character, they change it
@@Will_2233 like understand why the fired dumb reason he ain’t guilty but u should’ve stuck with kang and used someone else cuz with multiverse u can use different actors
Agreed. Why didn't they simply take a 2-3 year break post-Endgame. If they absolutely had to, they still could've rounded out this universe by releasing Loki, TFATWS, What if? and Wandavision.
But then recast everyone (including T'Challa) and peek into a parallel universe for another 10-12 years. Focus on X-Men vs. Avengers, then Doom/Galactus, then the Kree/Skrull War+Secret Invasion, then Korvac, then Annihiation Wave, then... - all set in their own universe with different faces donning the all-familiar suits/capes/shields/...
How is that not a no-brainer?!
it's not the actors that's the problem. it's the writers and directors, hollywood is were creativity goes to die. hell, with marvel they've been handed the golden goose in that all they had to do was pull from decades worth of stories, and they'd make a ton of money. but the writers and directors now can't leave well enough alone, they all need to push their version of the story, they need to push their bs politics onto the characters. not one of them can set aside their ego, and just write the story. at this point i'd be surprised if any of them even knows what the secret wars was.
I feel like they should do a mix of what crisis on infinite earths and the new ultimate universe did where it’s an amalgamation of different earths but also is an altered version of an existing universe
It should have ended after endgame and reboot around 2024 with all characters available
3:21 In my opinion Chadwick boseman's Black panther should have been and still should be recast there's no reason they should have killed T'Challa in the MCU just to play some weird long game where Shuri is the Black panther for now until tatala's son also named tchalla is old enough to be king and be the Black panther guaranteed Marvel's going to age him up at some point soon when all they could have done to make this entirely easier was not kill off T'Challa the character when Bozeman died I hope they pivot and actually recast tchalla when they send me reboot after secret wars
I 100% agree. I’m pretty sure Chadwick Boseman’s brother even said Chadwick would have wanted T’Challa to be recasted if he would have died.
One thing I pray they don’t adapt is the stupid Scott and Logan stupid love triangle with Jean grey it’s annoying u wanna make them have beef that’s fine take more of an x men evolution route where Logan is stand offish cuz he’s a veteran and Scott a new young leader having problem seeing eye tot eye cuz of their experience
They should just pull a James Bond and recast when needed and play it off like in Iron Man 2 when Rhodey shows up
A soft reboot is the way to go cause now they build it up from scratch. Like I see so many what ifs like what if marvel had the rights to all their characters from the start and stories some come up with are pretty interesting. So if marvel does that they can do what should’ve been like Spider-Man, Wolverine & Hulk being the big 3 with the Fantastic 4 standing by they side 2.
I think you’re right, they should focus on recasting (like Black Panther should’ve been in the first place, even if not for Wakanda Forever specifically), but I think it still doesn’t get to the heart of the issue, which is we need better screenwriters to start with. Yes, better productions for these films overall, but the script is the blueprint, the backbone of every film or show. They don’t even just lay out how the story’s gonna go or how it unfolds, but also how things play out on set along with the directors’ input, guides said casting choices, guides the actors, the editors, so on and so forth. I know it’s a much more simple answer to the issues plaguing the MCU, but it’s the truth, damn it.
Also seriously, they didn’t recast T’Challa in order to not replace Chadwick Boseman, yet since they still replaced the character with his sister and his secret son, they may as well have recast for later, suggesting that T’Challa had to be gone from Wakanda for a number of reasons.
Put it to you this way, if Tom Holland died before filming a new Spider-Man film, how do you think people would react if they killed Peter Parker and went on with Miles Morales right after? I mean if they were consistent with their stance on recasting with Black Panther, then Indiana Jones wouldn’t be president rn. I say if you’re going to replace the actor’s would be position anyway, recast the character whilst continuing their legacy *and* pay your respects to actor that came before.
this is exactly what i’ve been thinking since the incursions came about. a soft reboot in a new universe where some characters are still the same, and others are different. we don’t get all the lore dropped immediately, but we get told it over the course of the different movies, where we learn about this new universe and these new characters. Mutants have always been around, peter is a loner who never wanted to be apart of the avengers and is best friends with johnny storm. Basically make everything align better with the comics, while also keeping all the lore and casting that worked with the original series.
Its so hard to talk about it now because I always think about marvel needing a reboot but its actually necessary. We need a thor odinson (who can even team up with beta ray), a new tony, a new black widow, and hulk. Not a new actor for hulk necessarily but a new characterization
It's not a stupid take, to say there's never going to be a iron man like rdj. It's most likely true. Rdj is a generational actor who actually understands what fans what out of him. Name an actor who can do it better...
I agree. I also like that they didn't mischaracterise him in Civil War movie. In my opinion, and in many other people's opinions that I saw, MCU version of Civil War is leaps and bounds better than comics event.
If it was it's own separate universe like Injustice, I would've had 0 problems with it, same reason I like Injustice.
Civil War in comics blatantly mischaracterised SO MANY heroes, anti-heroes and villains. But the biggest victims were stubborn doosh Cap with anger issues, dumb ass Spider-Man and comedically evil Iron Man.
I consider MCU version of Civil War to also be canon to Earth-616 as well.
There's no reason to bring back Iron Man or anyone else who died. I think we should move forward and make more stories. If we stay stuck in the past, it's limiting the storytelling. Iron man had an epic outing.
Yes, there's never going to be an Iron Man like RDJ. Because there's only one RDJ. That's why you should just make a new interpretation of Iron Man instead of trying to mimic RDJ or just bringing him back.
@@goj1_lag00nindeed, many recent Iron Man versions are trying too hard to mimic him. Iron Man is a great hero with multiple approaches, you can do a lot with him.
People say the exact same shit about heroes that get recast every decade
"Nane an actor that can do spider-man better than tobey"
"Name an actor that can do batman better than pattinson"
"Name an actor that can do superman better than reeves"
Oh no, this actor doesn't want to play a character anymore, I guess we can't do anything with this character for the next 20 years
Wolverine is def my favorite superhero and have been wanting him to be recasted ever since X-men stand stand b/c I was never a fan of how fox portrayed Wolverine. Wolverine and Deadpool movie was the only live action adaptation that was close to the comic counter parts. That being said we need a new actor for Wolverine, to say Huge Jackman is the ONLY one able to play Wolverine is ridiculous given how he's the ONLY one that's ever been given an opportunity to play as Wolverine.
Never had a UA-cam video premise been so totally correct.
"You can't really get bigger than the Multiverse"
Power scalers: please allow me to introduce myself...
I think for the new universe they should keep that retro futuristic aesthetic from the new fantastic 4 movie. Also about that universe designation thing, my headcanon is that it's actually earth 199999, but the characters within the mcu believe that it's earth 616.
" they're gonna make him do this till he's 90."
I feel like I’ve gotten to the age where I no longer know any young actors that can be recast in iconic roles. I haven’t consumed new media for such a long time.
The T'Chaka ref in X-Men 97 made no sense cos the 90s fantastic four cartoon that was canon to the X-Men show had T'Challa as Black panther
"You take him out of the equation, and you lose 70% of the sauce" well said, M.
After Secret Wars, every adult superhero actor pre-endgame should be recast. Everyone from Fox, including Deadpool, should be recast. Any character who came post endgame can be recast if the actors don’t want to comeback. They should start afresh and strong with new stories and characters that were never explored that people want to see more of. Blade, Moonknight, Hulk, Black Panther, Ghostrider, The Defenders, Ironfist & Shang chi, Midnight Sons, Xmen, Fantastic 4, New Avengers, Thor, Spider man (older Peter and other Spider-people), The Illuminati.
Only one second in and yah after secret wars they got to let jackman go man! And some of these legends, but i understand why Disney wont put him in the first x men film and thats a smart choice on their part given the hill theyll have to climb when they introduce any new actor for wolverine.
Glad to see someone else agree that "only one actor can ever portray the character" is a brain dead take, especially since changing actors would probably just be like changing artists on the books
If they cast Ryan Gosling as a Black Panther brother i will be there.
Once they have all the properties under their belt again I think they should just do a hard reset and do a new universe from scratch where you can have all the characters from the start
lol not Dr Umar 😂😂😂😂😊
I think they will do rdj as a variant doom to kill off but later on introduce some other actor (say the guy who played oppenheimer for an example) as a permanent doom
I'll admit that I'll miss Hugh as Wolverine when he retires from playing the character
Marvel needs to REBOOT The MCU.
Am I the only one who found it weird that the MCU has no issue recasting Thunderbolt Ross after his original actor passed away, but they refuse to cast T'Challa?
Keep in mind they also recasted Bruce Banner/The Hulk in the beginning of the MCU.
@@petermj1098 oh yeah, that too
The big difference is T'challa was a well loved and central character within the mcu and it helped Chadwick Boseman was just as loved and respected while Thunderbolt Ross was mostly just background character that most of the audience didnt care too much about so no one would bat an eye if a recast happen even if William Hurt did a good job making Ross unlikable and it helps that William Hurts past and allegations just make it easier to recast and move on
@@Kalel2.0 Bruce Banner/The Hulk is a bigger character. It was a huge risk of them replacing Edward Norton with a not as famous Mark Ruffalo. But it still worked out.
@@petermj1098Ruffalo was decently known at the time and a proven talent plus those were the early days of the MCU and while Hulk was well known ppl didnt care about that iteration of him enough for it cause public anger from fans with Edward Norton being replaced by Ruffalo
Here’s a soft rebooted timeline that I have created for the mcu post secret wars. Keep in mind with the avengers they won’t be getting any movies of their own but rather they will be in other movies as key characters like judgement day, world war hulk, house of m, etc
Soft rebooted mcu phase 1
X-men
Spectacular Spider-Man
Wolverine vs hulk
Fantastic 4 sequel
World war hulks
X-men sequel
Phase 2
Spectacular spider-men
Fantastic 4 the 3rd movie
Black panther
3rd x-men movie
Captain America secret empire
Avengers vs x-men
If there’s a hard reboot ever involved, let me be the new head of Marvel Studios 😊
Actually they deleted a lot of hulk scenes from infinity war and endgame
I hope he has a better fate than the original Toussaint Louverture.
I feel like the main teams that marvel should focus on in the mcu reboot is the X-Men, Fantastic Four, and Midnight Sons/Suns. The Avengers could still exist but i dont think they should get too much focus since they already have had the spotlight, at most maybe as cameos and apart of big team up films.
This is just me but im all for the multiverse being used if it can give marvel one streamline MCU with All their characters or potential future characters all under one banner. That means Avengers, Fantastic Four, X-men, Spider-man and ect are all under the MCU banner so that you dont need to use the multi verse ever again
I disagree with your take about the whole “the mcu should’ve ended after end game” point. I from a storytelling point of view it’d make sense since all the story lines were wrapped up and the ending made sense. I think what they should have done is focus on animation and make marvel stories that way. The current route they’re taking to lead up to a soft reboot has been disastrous and it would have been better to end on a high note than to assassinate what was once good
Marvel's been hit or miss when it comes to animation
Even from a storytelling point of view Endgame being the finale while it could work isn't the best route as the only characters that were wrapped up were the OG Avengers, newer characters like Spider-Man and BP still had stories to tell and by ending it there you're robbing them of that opportunity. There's nothing wrong with the current route, the problem is how they went about it. And even with the issues the current MCU has, the overall quality is better than both phase 1 and 2 combined.
If hugh came back it'd have to be another multiversal event after a while in the soft reboot and its gotta be as old man logan
They’re scared to recast because they don’t wanna confuse local/casual audiences rather than the ACTUAL fans of comics. It’s a business decision honestly. Because yes they know comic book fans will go to see the movie no matter what. But the casual movie goers are the ones who generate the most money. Think about it, us as comic book fans were expecting Thanos to want to kill everyone because of his infatuation with Lady Death, but in order to make the casual fan feel more “relatable” to him they needed to hive him a sympathetic reason. Otherwise the movie possibly wouldn’t have made as much as it did. So them nit replacing anybody, at least not currently, is because their main money givers generate the most dollars. And we all know Mickey wants his money.
Why do people keep calling it earth 616? That's the main comic universe. Earth 199999 is the MCU designation.
Surprisingly enough, a multiverse in reality can make your story smaller. I was just think about invincible because the show came in right when the multiverse shenanigans started and it book run end years ago.
16:30 the issue with this is we see Andrew Garfield and Tobey cameo in the sony spider verse which are now connected to the MCU multiverse so the contradiction is on Sony and Disney
Marvel they refuse too recast cause they have a nostalgia problem
Till you’re 90 👀💀
I’ve been saying this for a long time. Honestly they should have just done a full reset after endgame
Marvel needs new owners
Better yet Marvel needs to end The MCU and fire Kevin Feige.
They definitely need to reboot the MCU after Secret Wars get some new actors to be old characters like Cap and Iron Man and even keep some old ones like maybe the Thunderbolts and Kate Bishop and stuff (mainly the newer people)
I don’t get why we need new actors when we have so many characters they haven’t used . Outside of black panther who really needs to be recast we have a new black widow we have a new captain America .
Honesty, I'd prefer a conplete reboot instead of a soft one. Just focus more on the Xmen and the Fantastic 4 and give the Avengers a more supportive role.
The MCU is old enough that a hard reboot wouldn't be that bad. A new Iron Man and Captain america would be great. They have so many more stories than what the Mcu has shown, so letting these stories be adapted into live action would be great.
Just start over, completely fresh. Hell, if they do it right. I wouldn't mind seeing a new Thanos.
RDJ as Doom is lame.
But when the movie makes alot of money and is successful keep that hate
Long story short, what we need is an interconnected Marvel universe that is in line with the comics cos like it or not, the MCU wasn't close to comic accuracy even from it's inception
RECAST BLADE! Ali is 50 years old.
They need to find a 5'11 actress that's likeable to be cast as Capt Marvel, or look to wrestling for her... Charlotte Flair!
7:27 Yeah that was dumb. T’Chalka should be dead at this point. It literally goes against the canon of this universe. Black Panther had many other appearances in that universe where T’Challa was Black Panther.
I still maintain Deadpool 3 would've been a much better film if it was a light adaptation of Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe - so we coukd have the cake and eat it too, make it cameo porn but also a fun way to send off that universe. Would've worked better than whatever the fuck the void was supposed to be.
It is a stupid option to do a soft reboot for Marvel Film Universe, and I disagree with this.
The right option was for them to take a break for about 10 years so that we can have a fresh air for a newly rebooted Marvel Film Universe.
If there's going to be a reboot do a full reboot, do or do not
I agree. I get it, some of the MCU casting will forever be iconic but it's time we move on from them.
Hopefully Secret Wars is the reboot that they need
Indeed.
Walk em thru it!
it is a stupid option
They just need new stars i think they were gonna replace cap to have that role be taken on by black panther, captain marvel in place of thor, and Spider-Man in place of ironman i think or Shang chi but no one even cameos in each others films either which is kind of sad
This is a random take but I honestly think the Maker should’ve been the big bad of the multiverse saga.
Thoughts on them not wanting green goblin and doc ock for the mcu? Idk if it's true but I heard a rumor that they won't recast those characters cause the ramie versions already appeared in no way home
BIAS!!! If you change Hugh then you gotta change Ryan too! If you gonna do a reboot - do a REBOOT!!
Deadpools entire thing is breaking the fourth wall, he'd be the easiest to explain why he's in the mcu now, its been the common opinion even before DP&W
Real talk I totally agree! But you can do the same thing with Hugh as well! They don’t need to look different to be different. I LOVE Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool - would not change him but my point is - the UA-camr stated to get rid of everybody - the First Class X-men are good actors with bad scripts - they could stand to stay and be better - but based on what he said - then everybody should go.
Tremendous video as always
I completely agree man. It’s such a stupid opinion to say NO actor in ALL OF TIME AND SPACE can ever play this fictional character ever again for all of eternity. It’s like do they hear themselves? Iron Man and Cap don’t need to stay dead cuz there’s so many other actors that should and could get the chance to play them.
I think Deadpool made the best statement about it “Til your 90” is not something you should actually want for an actor to play a character their fictional characters and it doesn’t need to be bonded to one actor forever man.
Thanks for listening to my Ted Talk. I’ve been saying they should’ve just recasted Black Panther man cuz it’s a fictional character that can easily be continued with a recast and I love Chadwick
hmm, this is a weird DC video...
The whole point of the Multiverse Saga is to drag back actors that people know. Americans worship celebrities. You could have introduced the X-Men and F4 without the multiverse. They used Spider-Man as soon as they could and it was amazing until they shoved in the multiverse crap. And no, I don't like Jackman as Wolverine.
Different timelines and multiverse always been Marvel comics and the MCU Achilles heel
🗣️🗣️🗣️HIRE COMIC BOOK WRITERS AND PUBLISHERS FOR THE MOVIES!!!!!!!!
I agree
The only person I don’t want to change is Ryan reynolds as Deadpool
Tom holland too
@@GDN_emerie I like Tom Holland but I kinda want a 4th Spider-Man if Sony is gonna keep trying multiversal stories for Tom Holland.
Already not interested in Dr. Doom being played by an American and the Wolverine news just put my diminishing interest down the drain lol.
Might depend on how the soft dcu reboot goes. If that fails marvel might go hard reboot.
Idc if I get hate I don’t agree with the reboot take
The goat posted. We're eating good
I just want them to make good films
What. Fassbender and McAvoy are still younger than their characters. Why not bring them back? they can play Magneto and Charles for another 20-30 years
Don't care, they had their chance, we don't need more convoluted x men movie timeline bullshit
@@abiodunsulaiman2297
this will be a completely new timeline. And it's just stupid to look for other actors when there are already two young (for Charles and Eric) ones who played the characters well.
I agree with the recast of almost all mutants, but not these two
