For a really long time i was sure i was an isfp but after searching a little bit more i'm having lots of doubts However your video really helped me. Now I'm thinking i might be an infp this whole time. Thank you so much for the video!
When I first became aware of cognitive functions, I rejected the entire system as norm set in stone. I knew I had to figure my path through the labyrinth on my own. The system was the idea I had to break down in order to understand it. I am not sure why numbering functions is even set in place. For most people, it is confusing. It creates the illusion of play pause when it comes to cognition. In my experience, this is not really the case. The way my brain sees this is - part of information that needs to be connected on the inside, and part of information that needs external stimuli in order to break the mental loop. So, the internalized part is processing info, the externalized part is reaction or intake. The reasoning can still be found between he hero and tertiary function (as named by others). The parent and inferior function show our attitude. And the way I understand the “parent” and “child” function is exactly as a relationship happening between parents and kids. It can go either way. From agreement to disagreement, from acceptance to rejection, from protection to disconnection. And oddly enough most of the time, my personal concerns come from the imbalance between the “hero” and “inferior” function. I tend to be more aware of those two. And the imbalance and anxiety caused by them, sends me in directions of seeking the path on my own which further results in mental loop while the responsibility of the “parent” function will probably be the end result - what I will present and introduce to others as something that is easy to understand and implement/use.
Idk what I am anymore I’m imaginative and I enjoy daydreaming when I have nothing to do and think about my future me etc. but I’m also practical although I’d like to stay opened minded and I have stuff that I can geek out about and talk about on and on and on… I still like to slay practical and I dislike going down a rabbit hole of something that cannot happen, requires to much imagination (especially if I can’t imagine myself actually there in the sensory for a better image),and I very much dislike ppl who act very delulu .
I relate way more to isfp but I don’t have trouble improvising ideas depending on what it is let’s just say if one idea is bad I’ll just come up with a different really quick and use that instead but I absolutely hate thinking up multiple possibilities and all that crazy stuff in general I just narrow ideas down to one but if it needs to be changed I’ll just chose the 2nd most possible idea would this make me an Isfp or Infp please help I’m very confused
This sounds very much like an ISFP! Se-Ni users narrow down to just a few possibilities, Ne users have many more very different ideas, and you implied that you have PolR Ne.
Thanks for another great video. Please, do you think that a possible discrepancy between one's mbti type and his/her lifestyle (i.e. type of education and job...) which simply don't fit, can result in a mental "disorder" (anxieties, depression...)? Thank you!
Oh yes. You're straining to fit somewhere that isn't tailored to who you are and what you love. Try to focus on expressing yourself creatively within some kind of desired format and life will keep moving you towards where you align. It's quite the journey. Try to stay true to yourself and spend time alone to know who you are and what you like, and don't conform and be aware of not falling for the groupthink
Are there published examples of the differences, e.g., of pragmatic versus abstract approaches to different aspects a common scenario? From the enneagram, this might be equivalent to describing how each type would typically act at a party.
Just the video I needed! I'm an INFJ and I love my IxFPs!
Help me type myself, i mean is it possible to be a IXFP?..

This INFP has gained clarity from your video. Thanks!
Your explanations are always so helpful and interesting! I especially liked how you differentiated the Keirsey temperaments👌

I like how you mention different sources

Yas neat. I find them easy to tell apart.
Can you please do the difference between INFJ and ISFP?

Hello I was wondering do you help people with finding their type?
