LAY HO MA!! You're in for a real treat! This delicious Indian spinach recipe is incredibly easy to make and is one of my absolute favourites. Join me in this episode and learn how to make a delightful vegan palak paneer recipe right at home. Let's begin
    Ingredients:
    3 pieces of garlic
    1 onion
    medium piece ginger
    1 tomato
    1lb extra firm tofu
    2 tbsp grapeseed oil
    1 tsp cumin seeds
    1 tsp coriander seeds
    1 tsp salt
    1 long green chili pepper
    1 cup coconut cream
    1 tsp turmeric
    2 tsp garam masala
    300g spinach
    Directions:
    1. Roughly chop the garlic. Dice the onion, ginger, and tomato
    2. Pat dry the tofu with some paper towel. Then, slice into bite sized cubes
    3. Heat up a sauté pan to medium heat. Add in the grapeseed oil
    4. Add the cumin and coriander seeds. Cook for about 45sec
    5. Add the onions, garlic, ginger, and salt. Sauté for 5-7min
    6. Add the tomatoes and one finely chopped long green chili pepper. Sauté for 4-5min
    7. Add the coconut cream and stir for about a minute to incorporate the coconut cream
    8. Add and stir in the turmeric and garam masala. Then, add about 200g of the spinach. When the spinach cooks down, add in the remaining 100g of spinach
    9. Transfer the mixture to the blender and blitz on medium to medium high for about 15sec
    10. Pour the mixture back into the sauté pan. Then, add in the tofu and gently stir on medium heat for 1-2min

I would love to give you a challenge my friend, a lot of us people who have had to work in our home since last year may soon be going back to the workplace. And the challenge for me is to cook and carry in the same fresh healthy foods that I have been able to enjoy in my 8-hour work days at home via my own cooking. I have gone out to eat twice in the last 2 weeks and I found that the food in restaurants it's terrible and didn't taste healthy or for flavor. I need to be able to take snacks and a lunch with me and some days even breakfast and a dinner because we work a lot of hours and I bet that other people need this as well. I'm just putting this little idea in your head... Because you are the most clever of people and this is something that you could do in videos or make a whole cookbook out of.--- 'Wil Yeung's way of Healthy Portable lunches!!'
      Challenge given, Sir.👍🎵💡

@@trinitywright7122 why not go 80% raw? Check out fully raw Kristina and many others on making your own salad dressings which is where the secret to raw living is. I'm bringing such a meal to work with me in a few mins. The more nutrient dense your food is, the less you eat. Mono meals are also easy. Also intermittent fasting. The key reason of the exotic flavour is the garam masala which is already made up of 10- 12 different spices, then ginger garlic onion that gives it a little kick , sourness of tomatoes, with spinach smooth flavour creating the base of neutral paneer or tofu gives it a unique, classy yet rustic flavour. One of my favourite too.

One thing I'm doing lately is recipes that call for turmeric, I add ground black pepper, and those that call for black pepper, I add a little turmeric. That combination is really great for your health and a little turmeric doesn't change the flavor in most dishes, and sometimes adds a nice yellow color.

This is the ONE dish I was so waiting to get vegoniezed !!! What I did is I also soaked tofu in the nutritional yeast and some garlic to give it more cheese taste . Came out so good ! The spinach sauce is the key just to get it right ! Thank you for this amazing receipe !!

That's a great idea. I'm gonna try doing that. Did you just soak or then cook the tofu in the nutritional yeast?

I tried this and as an Indian, I thought this dish was absolutely awesome! You did a great job on this recipe! My husband loved it too. So tasty yet simple flavors. Thank you 🙏🏽 The place I’m from we don’t traditionally use or prefer paneer in our cooking so the tofu was the perfect light and flavorful alternative (I roasted it separately before putting it in) 😃

This dish is incredibly delicious and absolutely incomparable to the frozen dinner versions, which I thought were pretty great! Now I’m spoiled forever but it’s so easy to make! Footnote: even a very mild version of this (for someone who has sensitivities) is still sumptuous! Thank you!
