Same. I've used 6 major versions of Windows for 10 years before switching to macOS and I appreciate macOS more. At least it's more intuitive, simple, doesn't have two control panels, and its installers don't have a "this app can't run on dos" message in the header of every installer like Microsoft does for all EXEs today (for forward compatibility of Microsoft DOS from 1981 which no one uses). Wasting bytes with error messages for an OS from 45 years ago is unjustifiable.
Note: my criticism goes beyond a useless message being packaged with every installer on Windows today - it's about the stupid "design" choices that Microsoft makes, sacrificing performance on billions of device just to serve an error message to a device or two (I'm being dramatic about the numbers but I'm probably not far off lol) should they try to run an executable from today.

Here’s my evidence: every windows pc I’ve used (custom built, dell, asus, Acer, Lenovo and hp) have stupid problems, eg the other day my gaming pc just decided it would only go into the bios, no booting. Not a dead ssd or anything, I tried others, but it just wouldn’t boot, then the next day it did boot for no reason. On laptops, windows modern standby makes it pretty much impossible to use cause it’s always flat when I need it. On asus computers they love to have small text popups just not disappear when you alt tab out, and then they just sit there for some reason.

I used Mac for a class once, I genuinely hate nothing more than mac now, it was so bad i genuinely just stopped working with the system. I did everything I could to not touch the Mac, the most basic stuff is just msde difficult on Mac, and for what? Horrible gaming performance, weaker graphics thsn a workstation, more expensive, less support for apps, the only thing it's got going for it is some apps work better on Mac. It gets beat out in almost every department by a windows workstation which may I remind you can game and uses nvidia gpus which are easily the best workstation gpus on the msrket

Tab groups are amazing. I have one for school and one for dispensaries around my area. Keeps me from having to open the same few sites I open regularly for those tasks.

Idk what kind of weird education you got but schools dint teach you how to use macs because nobody uses them, just like how they don't teach Linux because nobody uses it

schools shouldn't need to "teach you" how to use computers. its 2024. Carter just seems to lack enough braincells to learn MacOS. Also majority of laptops are Macs so shut up@@wd40swift
