You don’t need any of them. Its peak consumerism, buying expensive stuff that you don’t need for your already expensive stuff only to improve your quality of life by 3%
Really helpful video, esepecialy that tiny travel charger! Thanks. And a small advice - please don't use public charging places, it is unsecure, it can be hacked, hence dangerous for your devices. :)
Gadgets - Just got myself a new M3 MacBook Air (replaced a Macbook Pro from 2015). Great vid to help me work out what accessories I need to make the most of my new toy :)
All these GADGETS! The CalDigit is a constant for productivity but I must say the Keychron K3 Pro is one of the best items on this list. Still a no for me on the polishing cloth though 😅
Most of the people won't even need 90% of the accessories mentioned in this video. Don't buy if you don't need it, later those will be seen lying around your workplace...
Gadgets! This is an interesting video! Being a decades-long Mac user I’ve amassed several useful “tools” (as I call them) similar to what are shown in the video. I’ll add that Plugable, Satechi, WD, and Logitech have excellent products that also fulfill needs for Mac (and all other) laptop and desktop users.
i bought the twelve south stand last sep for my macbook air and now 9 months later it just slides down when i place my laptop on it. i'm going to try a different stand
Gadgets - actually came here to find a protective case that is good to use, and has no tradeoff in pressuring screen or anything, would love to know your thoughts on the same
Forget the gadgets, Andrew over here quietly flexing his watch game. I saw a field khaki, black bay, and was that last one a reverso or a tank,? Hard to tell cause you don't have a straight on shot. You need to run a watch collection video :D
Hi Andrew, thanks for your straightforward, informative video. Would you be able to recommend which brand (or specs) of 2 to 3-foot UBS-C cable would be best to connect a Ugreen Nexode 30W Charger to a MacBook M1 Air (2020) to avoid a very slow charge and possible overheating? Your link goes to a cable that's currently unavailable.
Having an iMac is a huge flex. That is on the wish list for sure. Great presentation here and some very practical accessories for the MBA The wipes for cleaning the MBA are so important. If only Apple charged $4 instead of $19 for their cloth. Keep up the great work!
I agree with you on everything but not the magic keyboard, it feels like typing on a flat overcooked pizza, is expensive and oversized. the only good thing about it is the fingerprint reader. in my opinion, a better keyboard would be a budget 65% or 75% mechanical keyboard with silent switches for office use.
Im so torn between the UGreen powerbank and the anker 737. I have the 16 inch macbook pro so I usually use the 140W charger. Not sure how long 100W will take to charge it
segway question, how do you use your MBA M1 as a CPU on battery mode and not plugged all the time? Thanks for any response. Like the content you provide. God Bless always!
All these GADGETS are great! Thanks for your video. Can you tell me what brand is the wooden dock that you have your laptop in toward the end on the right side of your desk? It also looks like a winner. Thx!
GADGETS!!! Hey Andrew great job as always. I too love my Keychron K3 V2., my Minisopuru Hub for my Mac mini, Orbitkey - nest & desk mat & keyring - they are Aussies so I have to support them ;}, Alpaka pouches are my favourite pouches for EDC stuff & I use Zyron GAN chargers - they're great. I'm gonna check out the mouse you suggested - I don't like the Apple mouse or keyboard much other than convenience for pay i.d & I guess for portability. The TB4 dock looks great as well & will suss out your suggested pouches. I probs have enough tech bags but I'm a bit of a techaholic lol. Cheers for the tips :)
Ive debated on going with a Magic Keyboard as I have an Anger variant that clones the older Apple Keyboards but it has more of a clicky tactile feel but I love the Touch ID option.
hey bro, do u compare the ssd's T-Force M200 with the LaCie Rugged (the black model), which do u think is better for the new macbooks m3, I need for video editing.
The expense of buying a Macbook never ends with the purchase of the Macbook. You cannot own one of these laptops without spending an equal amount of money on unnecessary accessories like this. I mean, a sleeve specifically for carrying it to the cafe? Thats insane 😂 Also every time I walk into a cafe there is always a handful people using Word on their Macbook drinking their flat whites. Buy a Macbook for $2k and spend $1k on a bigger battery and external drives rather than spending $1k in total for a Windows laptop with double the storage and battery of that $2k Macbook. Owning one of these is a very expensive hobby indeed. But we do it.
I only have Mac for 4 years. I did not know we need so many things.
It is mainly for the Air

I can't wait till I am booking more jobs so I can finally afford my very own cleaning cloth ☺
Nothing like the Apple premium tax 😂

For lapt stands, I'd highly recommend Nextstand. A bit more foldable and portable.
A very informative and approachable rundown on all of those gadgets

Isn't that what data blockers were invented for?
Is there an adaptor to put into a USBC on a MacBook Pro to use a MagSafe 2 charger?

10:08. Where did you buy the wood laptop holder? I want it
I think it might be the grovemade wood macbook dock
How come there’s no review on the drum pad thing? You have it in the thumbnail but not the video. I got Al excited to see what that was about. lol
where is the mixer that shows in you thumbnail ?
I'm going to have to expand my EDC bag with all these recommendations 😂
Are you using a matt case sticker for your mac? Able to recommend?
I want to know that too, @Andrew Ethan? :)

The best acessory for mac should be it doesn't need any of them, it is so overhelming have to cary all these stuff.
What’s the mouse called? Not the magic mouse, the alternative
The Orochi mouse. All the products are listed in the description.
