I love that Ted still keeps tea in his place for guests, despite hating it himself.
Yeah tea for the guests but he should have kept coffee for himself.
I really like that Ted doesn’t *actually* dispute Roy on hiding his anger. He sees that Roy is essentially acknowledging that he is a very angry person, but he does restrain it a lot, and moves on. Perhaps he *does* manage it more than people see. It’s a nice touch.
He did literally tore a nailed down bench
@@aguywithalotofopinions412 Yup, when asked to indulge the rage again. You can do a lot of growth and anger management and still dip into the pool again.
"Straight into my face, didn't even blink." God that's why I love Roy. He's so unashamedly offended by that.
I want more Ted and Roy one-on-one scenes, they're fascinating to watch together because their outward personalities are so diametrically opposite, yet they share the same inner warmth. Roy certainly brings out Ted's more pragmatic side.
“I was always gon’ take a minute and just sit right there” underrated line
“How was the ice cream?
It’s good, it’s fucking ice cream!”
TED: Nut allergy?
ROY: FINGER allergy.
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Facts where your slimey ass fingers been bruh 😂
I still don't get it. Why Americans think that putting finger into a peanut butter jar is OK
@@MaiElizabethIf you live alone its fine, if you share with others i wouldnt.
@karakeehan1788 If I live alone, who gives a shit
Roy Kent/Brent Goldstein has the best direct, dry sense of humor in this show. And it real life they say Brent is very outgoing, gregarious, and not at all like "grumpy" Roy, but Roy does have a huge, great heart when he sees injustice.
After seeing the Foreign players in the MLS, Roy would absolutely dominate
Yeah but that’s where once great players go to die
Yep. It's like when Lothar Matthaus played for NY/NJ in 2000. He was already past his prime, but everyone over here was psyched.
@@speedyspooley now we will see what Messi can do in the MLS
Keeley: I never know hoe to react when a grown man beatboxes in front of me.
Roy: I never know how to react when a grown man does the Carlton in front of me.
Another reason they are perfect together
There's another one later on, I think from Rebecca, and it's hilarious because it's always said to Ted when he's one on one with people. He probably just assumes it's part of the culture when in reality, it's just Keeley.
Ted beat boxes in front of Keeley “ I never know how to react when a grown man beat boxes in front of me.”
Ted does the Carlton in front of Roy
“I never know how to react when a grown man does the Carlton in front of me”
Not him calling tea pigeon sweat lol
Compared to the diabetes us southerners put in some iced sweet tea I ain't surprised the taste buds weren't taken to British style tea 😂
As an American who loves tea I have to agree to disagree with Ted on that one!
@@yankeeangel26 Coffee will always be better than tea
I guess that settles it. American beer is horse piss, and English tea is pigeon sweat
True so be sure to stick to Bourbon and Coffee
What happens when a small group of writers/actors, outside of Hollywood, get together? You get “Ted Lasso.”
Having the creator of Scrubs onboard probably helped.
Alfonso Ribeiro is so good, he ddn't need to live in the 19th century to be the be the physical comedian on of the century.
I think ted would prefer the two day old pasta water over the tea
Pigeon sweat
Garbage water.
Rest in peace Socrates 😂holy shit this fucking show
Whilst Tea isn't the greatest drink I've ever had, I greatly prefer it to that wet mud that people call coffee
Such a great show!
Alphonso Ribeiro appreciation
I agree with Ted. I was raised in the south, where tea is the main drink for every get together. But I just dont care for it. It sits in a wierd place of either to sweet or to bitter whenever I try it.
My grandma liked her sweet tea strong. She'd boil that stuff black and pour a couple cups of sugar into a gallon of it.
I just loved the way Roy summed up MLS. He summoned his Zlatan for that one. People can try to hype up MLS like its getting close to European football level. Its not. I'll watch and somewhat support Chicago Fire fc (thank goodness they returned to some historical colors/badge), but give me European football any day of the week. Something to play for is better to watch then limping into a playoffs unless its one match to go up a division. I root for Everton even if we get relegated this season. Already got my FC Schalke 04 relegated last season in the Bundesliga.
Eh, it's been progressing every year. And these old lads coming over only help it to progress even further. Even this year, Matt Turner GK for the Revs became the hottest GK on the market after his USMNT performance. Will go from $200K/year to millionaire deservedly so. Despite that, I myself am European football all day, too, and think it will stay that way until USMNT makes a WC final... until then, like you said, the MLS will be more hype than anything (IMO).
@@brianlevey7086 It's still a long way off. I watched a Union game during an international break, and it was just such a step down.
The MLS is never going to be as good as the European leagues for two reasons; one financial, and one cultural. One, really top-rate international players know they can earn more money and more prestige in the European leagues.
As for Americans, in this country soccer plays second fiddle to the big three sports - football, basketball, and baseball. Gifted young American athletes have more options for sports, and the prestige game is American football - high schools don't build 20,,000 seat stadiums for their soccer teams, nor do NCAA soccer players sign $1,000,000 NIL deals.
@@michaelreid322 *four big sports. Don't forget hockey.
I got into soccer 3 years ago. I wanted to follow an American so naturally it was Chelsea at the time. I seriously cannot watch the MLS. I’ve seen too much great soccer in that time. MLS just looks slower and sloppy
2 day old pasta water.😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Janet Hubert is the ONLY Aunt Viv
Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! Watch your language Lasso
I don't know how that became the "Carlton", but both Tom Jones and George Michael did it before him.
He’s right about tea.
I have an urge to say that they mustn't have made it right. The tea....
I adore Alfonso Ribeiro. But Michael Richards is a better physical comedian.
Rowan Atkinson is the best physical comedian of all time
His stand up isn’t bad either, haven’t seen him on stage in a while however must be taking time to work on new material.
John Ritter….period
Buster Keaton for me all day any day
Lucille ball is my favorite. I’m a little biased because she’s responsible for Star Trek getting produced though.
Ngl- tea just tastes like warm water strained through a dirty sock.
There’s so much to love about this show, and so many aspects of Ted are relatable to me, but the most relatable trait of Ted, for me, is his dislike of tea. I hate tea. My parents and my sis love tea, my kids love tea, I can’t freaking stand it.
Weird

Too shy shy.... hush hush... sorry. Came here directly from a Kajagoogoo Video. Must compose myself.
So.
I don't get it. Yeah, the tea drinking is strange for someone from a coffee nation, BUT... if you live for a longer time between tea drinkers, you will find your tea of choice sooner or later. Everyone does.
Are you kidding me with that hat bullshit.
Dominate in America? Bale, the origin of the “4 countries in this country” joke, is struggling despite LAFC winning the Supporters Shield.
That hat looks like your way of making Ted Lasso look like he supports trump.
I would have made it blue and yellow, Richmond colours.
