This video is a preview of the guitar lesson where I teach how to play the Patty Loveless song Blame It On Your Heart. I break down all the guitar parts and I also improvised to pedal steel parts for the second half of the solo. The full lesson includes tablature and jam tracks. Available on DVD, Download or in the online members section with hundreds of other lessons. - Навчання та стиль
Now I'd be....Ken you just made my day. I've always like this solo part and I've tried countless times to master it...now the pedal steel part...oh man...you're simply THEEEE best Ken. Love you
Signed up. New to country guitar and this is awesome!
Oh man! Great song to do. Always liked that one.thanks Ken
Thanks for all your lessons !!
I love that slapback+short decay spring reverb combo you use all the time as your base tone. Straight up slapback sounds ok but with 2-3 repeats. Using just one repeat sounds a little bit unnatural because it doesn't fade away. Using a touch of reverb is perfect. Since my Princeton have a long decay reverb even with the mix on 1 I'm using a digital spring emulation in my Line 6 M9 and I got that exact same tone and it's killer.
Another excellent lesson! Thank you Ken!
Dope, very cool.
Could you do an acoustic lesson?
SUCESSO, LINDO SOM.
I play metal exclusively but i wanna learn different styles to broaden my skills and this seems like an easy song to learn
Kostas... Songwriter..
Nice! I’m a little confused though? Are you in a different tuning? That rhythm part doesn’t make sense when I try and bar it like that? Not sure how you’re getting the hammer on 6th from that barred shape alone??
Nice chops and instruction. I joined your email list to get the free lesson of this song, but it's not in the list?
ken, you are fucken awesome
Who originally played guitar on this song?
If your referring to the record, I'm pretty sure it was Brent Mason.
