Wow this was hard! Even so, the thing I love most about yoga is that there is no competition, that I listen to and care for my body, and breathe through mental barriers to hold that pose for a few more breaths.

Hello Erin! Today I really needed to rest from strength training. Yesterday I ran for the first time since Feb and I really need to stretch so much more. I wanted to do one of your yin yoga classs! I searched and this one came up! I realized I had done this class some time ago when I saw my previous comments! I loved it so much I wanted to do it again! The beginning part was hard to arch my back for so long but after that was done, my back felt so good! Every muscle in upper and lower body was stretched and whole body felt absolutely amazing at the end! Thank you so much for this and all your classes! I love doing them so much! Thank you so much! I got my yoga practice back thanks to you. Solid 9 months of daily yoga. Only the smallest suggestion, could the video lengths include 7 mins of shivasana as right now when in relaxation, the video goes to the next one which is a bit distracting. If people want to jump out they can do their closing prayer and the rest of us stay with you, Erin! Thank you.

Good morning, Erin! I did your Invigorating Morning Flow routine 2 weeks ago and just did this routine now. I feel SO good! It was a much needed rest day from doing HIITs and strength training. Just did this after a killer leg workout and it was exactly the release I needed. I just started doing yoga consistently recently on a pretty much daily basis to help supplement my martial arts training and this channel has been one of my go tos for my growth. I will definitely be adding this the cache of leg day finishers

This was amazing! How many times a week should we do this? I was confused in one section.The pose at 28:30- was that missing going in the other direction. I really like that stretch. For lizard, and catching the back leg, there is a lot of pressure on my knee. What can I do there? It's amazing you can do all these poses after knee surgery.
I noticed that too. I just used my initiative to do the other side. It's inevitable that will happen tune to time. It shows we are really focused and present with her practice. She's a blessing.🙏🙏
HI Erin, thanks fr another great class. I am in line with a couple of comments below. The stretches and moves are really advanced. Is it possible to demo options for beginners like me? I believe there are grades of intensity, but I don't always know the correct pose for the less advanced version. Thanks for all your great videos.

Hi Erin... I really love your classes. I came to yoga late in life..63yrs.. And wish I had started when I was younger instead of all the aerobics classes I used to do!!! I am not very flexible and am really tense around the shoulders and neck... I struggle to relax. I have a question... I can manage sphinx and seal pose with no stress felt on my lower back, but after a minute or so I find my neck and shoulders become quite painful... Am I holding the pose incorrectly?? I try to draw my shoulder blades down my back and hold my head away from my shoulders, but I find myself sinking into my shoulders to relieve the tension... Is this where I am going wrong?? Apologies for the long comment, but I was not sure how else to contact you. Many thanks. Linda.
+mammarooney Hi Linda! Thanks so much for your comments and question. I can definitely relate to tension in the neck and shoulders. A lot of poses that open or release this area of the body are challenging for me and have caused additional stress in my own body. So, speaking from experience, I would highly recommend, the second you start feeling strain or pain, you back off or out of the pose. It will be important for you to find poses that open this area of your body, but "feel good," so that you don't start to have resistance. I just filmed a "neck and shoulder" class today. Keep your eyes open - it will be published in the next week or so. Classes in the "restorative" tradition with lots of props and passive stretches are the best way to start releasing tightness without strain.

I like the idea but for me its the opposite, not really intense, I prefer more stretching postures, do you have other video with that? :)

Taira - thanks for your feedback. Keep up with your practice and try lots of different styles of yoga. You might find different styles more or less intense depending on what you are working with in your own body. Some people find deep stretch way more intense than a fast vinyasa flow or vice-versa, or anywhere in between. Maybe find a particular class that you enjoy but feels intense and practice it a number of times!
I was only teasing myself - sure I will keep up and do more and different classes. What is inspiring about you is you push us to try a bit harder. love,
