Einstein was a great physicist. But he wasn't neither perfect, neither a marvelous politician, nor a true philosopher... we really should stop using him as the universal "ad authotitas" because it really makes no sense..
Your comment makes little sense, using a double negative. And what does "ad authotitas" mean?
Einstein wasn't just a great physicist, he had a profound opinion on life and religion and he was very aware of the consequences of his mathematical work, that was foundational not only to the development of nuclear energy, but also of nuclear weapons. What he feared didn't come true in his lifetime, but it could still happen.
True, but should we be criticizing people if we aren't willing or able to produce more than they have ourselves? I don't recall anyone named Ignacio Miranda Saldivar providing improvements to the human condition to the extent Einstein did (despite the fact that many of his efforts were more than undone by politicians). Let he who is without sin cast the first stone, hmm?
