Subscribed I was wondering if a piston pump would do good with only 72v lay and play 4 pump setup BMH 1" center pressure blocks #11 gears for the front #9 in the rear.
If you ganna run a piston on 6 batteries go down on the gear go with #9 marzocchi and the center port go down on the size bigger is not always better. Hoppers use 1 inche center port when they run the fat cylinders on front with 3/4 ports or 1 inch ports. And when you get your piston put a y block at the pump
If regular street pumps to the front they will not build pressure nearly as much as these do. But people have built some hoppers out of street pumps but upgrading the block,fitting,check valves,gear,dump.etc
Running #8 hoses to front and fat cylinders on front require more fluid and longer tank helps with that and build pressure. Shorter tank wouldn't work on that setup regular cylinders and #6 hoses on double pump would work but not on single pump
currently have 3 pump 6 battery lay out in my 83 cutlass, cce pumps. been debating a long time between upgrading front pump to a fuerte or fatboy pump + better gear and dump or just going piston pump to front with adel dump and #9 marzocchi gear. ended up going the piston pump route to have a little street hopper nothing crazy just to have fun. saw you said in other comment with 6 battery to keep it at a #9 gear, if i put 2 more batteries in then it would be best to upgrade to #11 right? with the setup i got in mind (piston, adel, #9) how many inches you think i can hit?
Sorry for late response and if 6 batteries I would put #9 Marzocchi if 8 batteries go to #11 and remember to set your piston before adding air to it and on inches wise it all depends on the rest of your set up and how good you're on the switch!!!

Have you ever heard of someone running double piston pump to the front???
Yes double piston and pinky has double piston whammy on some of his hoppers and few other hopper friends double bladder
