back again watching this video 2 yrs later lol. its a good one and yeah i had some troubles with the adel dump from Black Magic... was leaking as well. brand new bought directly from them. sent it back they supposedly changed all the orings stating that was the issue and sent it back, i installed it and same thing still leaking. i got tired of the back n forth and ended up selling the dump and putting the regular cce one back in... problem fixed no more leaking... go figure.
Yeah blocks are pretty much almost the same. Difference is some use different aluminum and on some blocks the outer port where key goes through “motor side” are lil bigger thats why some use the magnum seals.
As far as oil leaking past the gear seals, just grind a bit of metal off the bottom of the motor case next to the block, oil will just drip down and out of the block. A plus for doing this is that you can tell when you need to change the seal long before you need to. --- Hydros ---
starting my first lowrider build now and shop i went to and spoke with guy recommended cce as well... so looks like imma go with that seeing as how you recommend them as well for beginners. thanks again for this video.
Hey Bro, the information is appreciated as always. Goin with my first project, im tryin to decide on 2 pump, 3pump, or 4 pump setup. Tryin to build a town car between lay n play with a bit of pop to it. Do you have any recommendations and good resources?
I personally like a 3 pump set up with 3 dumps. If you want more than 6 switches then I recommend a 4 pump set up, bcuz that way you will be able to get the full experience and the most out of your set up. More fun.
helpful video bro I was thinking about picking up a pair of those 2 inch hi lockup balljoints from blackmagic for my lincoln but for the price I think that could be better spent on maintenance instead replacing all the seals and changing the oil
Chains are used for 2 reasons, for 3 wheeling and for top travel for not over locking. For the wheeling the chains are gonna have to be small so you wont get a high lock up. They also tent to get cought on things even with bunty cords holding them.
@@lowlowsandmore I have 12" in the back of My regal I want the cylinders have a full travel it's a good idea to install chains and were can i put them ?
@@MXL686 if you have 12" cylinders then the chains will have to be 11-3/4" long, take in account the height of the power balls or hem joints that your using. You can install chain in 2 ways. 1 way is install them using existing holes on the car or by welding square tubing with holes drilled out for a bolt to hold the chain.
I just bought a low rider car I’m also new to this I have a question. So when I raise the front side of the car and than is slowly drop on itself why would that happened?
You could have a bad check valve or a bad dump. I would change the check valve 1st because it's cheaper and if it still continues to do that then replace the dump(s).

Theres a few ways to tell. 1. If the car no longer sits leveled 2. If the car no longer does a tall 3 wheel or at its usual height. 3. If the car drives off to one side of the road after getting a detailed alignment done. 4. If you see any cracks or kinks in the frame. Normally around the trailing arm mounts and cross members.

Ora pues Thanks for the knowledge I thought they always ran actual hydrolic fluid🤔 Learn something new i guess,is hydrolic fluid optimal or is regular oil just better or just cheaper and easier to come by?
Hydraulic oil is very slightly thicker than motor oil because they make it for floor Jack's and forklifts, non detergent hydro oil is almost equivalent to motor oil. Motor oil is 100% good to use in your set up.

TIG welds are stronger than MIG welds, what is this guy talking about. 10:45 , the extensions with built in extensions have less contact area, so less reinforcement in that area then the other pipe extensions.
You can as long as the seals are compatible. Some food companies use vegetable oils in their hydraulic systems so if they blow a hose they dont spray their products with hydraulic oil.

What gear to use for a hopper
For hoppers it depends, the #1 choice is a Marzoochi #11 and then a #13 gold.
It really depends on how many batteries you are running in your setup... 6-8 batteries with a #9 gear 8-10 batteries #11-#13 gear
