Today we are back with another video! Today we are showcasing a strange way to jig for walleyes in the middle of summer. Speed Jigging or sharpshooting has kind of revolutionized walleye fishing and in this video I show you my set up. This kind of walleye fishing is generally very productive from mid summer into the late fall. Using your Humminbird is equally as important as having the correct lure on and in this video I discuss what we are looking for on the sonar as well.
Thanks for watching the walleye fishing videos!

Side note, I follow a lot of walleye guys on youtube ... there have been about 8,000 slip bobber for walleyes videos recently. None are even close to as informative as the videos you've done about one of your 'absolute favorite ways to fish'. Good job with the hyper rattles - so fun.

went on acme's site and bought some hyper rattles--didnt know they were measured in centimeters--ones that came were so tiny--LOL
looks like good bait for panfish though ;)

Tom by far, you are the best fishing technique instructor in the industry. None of your videos have added filler (like other Wisconsin fishing shows). Even though you do not state the body of water you are fishing, you inspire us to be confident in the techniques you are teaching. I am never left wanting or filled with questions after viewing your material. THANK YOU! MUCH APPRECIATED TOM!!!

THANKS FOR THE DETAIL YOU PROVIDE IN RIGGING AND PRESENTATIONS. NO ONE ON YOU TUBE DOES IT THE WAY YOU DO AND I WOULDN'T THINK OF MISSING ONE OF YOUR VIDEOS. I HEAVILY SUPPORT YOUR SPONSORS BECAUSE OF YOU. YOU SHOW HOW TO USE THEIR PRODUCTS TO MAXIMUM EFFECTIVENESS. THE END RESULT IS I'M CATCHING MORE WALLEYES THEN EVER AND HAVING A BALL DOING IT. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK.

Watching TB over years made me appreciate tiller style boat. Seems like more space for graph positioning/mounting back there. Quiet in reverse backing up to those schools too - my Merc sounds like a semi truck jake brake when I hit reverse.

Tom, you have become one of the top walleye channels on youtube because you are direct, technically informative, and genuine. Much different than the sponsored videos that seem like infomercials. Thank you, and keep up the good work.

They are out of stock. I bought every one I found in Oneida and Vilas county. That was only 5 between 6 tackle shops. I also made an order from Acme directly. I bought one and used it several times before I nailed the technique and application. Thanks Tom! I used to use the Jig'n Rap but took the bottom hook off and used in the shallows post spawn. Now I have gone bigger/heavier and deeper with this and it has produced! This, coming from a guide, really expanded my arsenal and is easy for clients to get the hang of. Hard to get inexperienced people to have the feel in deep water, not with 28grams on the line!
