      Thanks tom. Good to know these details. Alot of times it's hard to tell if your boat is stationary.. drifting or if it's at a slow troll and those are key and critical if you ask me.

    Think it would be an awesome promo idea if you guys run a contest for all walleye now subscribers. Have a tally on all walleye boated between Tom and Mitch for calendar year 2023, closest guess without going over wins a weekend fishing trip with the pair of you guys?? Great incentive for new subscribers, and a nice give back to a lucky long time fan🤷🏻‍♂️ Tight lines fellas!

    Do you guys ever shoot any shore fishing stuff? Haven't budgeted a good fishing boat yet, so it's land casting for the foreseeable future.

    • @Sweatyman6
      @Sweatyman6 Рік тому

      One thing you could definitely do to help yourself to get out in the water is getting a budget fishing kayak for around $600-$1000 and that would easily help you get out of the water. if that is too steep, one thing you could look up as another options and could only run you $200 is a belly boat which is what I'm currently using to save up space since I live in an apartment.
      as for shore fishing for walleye's its possible but you do need to find some deeper water drop offs which is definitely possible to find and best time to do that kind of fishing is around dusk, dawn or night (like midnight to 4am) to get some of those good walleye coming into the shore.

    Only question I have is when your jigging do you troll at the same time and if so what speed? Just enough to keep going forward? And with that being said I notice your casting behind you is that for momentum?. A nd easier to control your bait?

    Hey Tom! Great vids. If u have time can u answer this question bud?! I fish a 25 mile lake that’s full of walleye. I live on the lake so I have a few spots within 1 mile from my dock that always hold fish. I prefer to drag spinners rigs thru these spots and catch a few aggressive walleye for lunch. My question is if I sit over spot locked on these fish and boat a bunch will they get spooked and possibly bust up my own honey hole? Thanks brutha

    I like your walleye stuff man!
    So do you know what separates the 300-500k channels from the 50-100k channels. Audio quality and variety. When you do a video take us on a fishing trip…
    Gearing up, putting the boat in the water. Do some catch and cooks. Fish for bluegill and crappie. Go for bass and trout. Show us the lakes. Show us your personality. Use close ups. Multiple cameras. Your doing it well, but Just fishing walleye will only take you so far.

    One question I have to both fishermen who are in this video is are you wearing a personal floatation device while you are running down the lake? If not why not wear them to be a good example to our younger fisherman. I just think it would be better for people to see you wearing it than not. I hope I have given you something to think about. 😎 Eph.3:20

    Great content as always, Tom! Have a serious question for you that I'm not sure you have ever answered: what keeps you in an aluminum boat? Our fam is getting a bit too big for our 16' aluminum boat and we're looking at upgrading to an 18'. We are in northwest Wisconsin as well and use the boat for about 60% fishing and 40% recreation. The move to an 18' boat opens all kinds of options when considering glass vs. tin, but curious on the thoughts of a guy like you as a hardcore walleye angler.
