I just bought some Salt & Pepper pork chops from a restaurant a few days ago. I have always been curious about how they were made. After watching your video I will follow your recipe and make them. The chopped red chili peppers and green onions are a nice color combination. We first eat with our eyes. Thanks for another amazing video!
Thanks again, Stacey...your recipes are legit! I grew up in California. And that is were the Best Chinese food in America is. Now I don't have to miss out since I live in Ohio!!❤
I made it. Was not successful with the batter clinging onto the meat. Next time I will use a larger pot to fry. I like the way you laid out the instructions making it easy to follow.
To follow up, I made this dish. It’s delicious. Does not need a sauce, per Piggy @pigybak My suggestion is to get your pork shoulder at a quality meat market, as the Costco cut had sinewy areas that were not appealing to my kid’s palate.

Delicious. Would you serve this as part of a meal? If so, what would you serve it with?
This is a traditional Chinese dish. We usually serve it with stir fry vegetables like bokchoy or Chinese broccoli with steamed rice.
Looks delicious
Hello Stacy! Can you please recommend a good knife so that chopping and slicing is efficient and easy? Thank you so much💚

♥️😋😋😋😋♥️
Is it just me or does it seem like the ingredient sizes are off. The salt, pepper, 5 spice, and such looks like wayyyyy more than instructed
It looks the exact same as America’s Test Kitchen or any other cooking show. Objects appear larger on the show due to the zoom in effect.
needs a sauce
