I straight traded a 99 7.3 Ford F-350 for a 2006 LBZ with 300k miles, sure the Ford was reliable and had no issues, less miles, but man did I hit the jackpot in that trade, the LBZ has been a beast hauling, minimal issues just ur average things breaking due to lack of maintenance , I love the truck!

I’m so happy I found my LBZ over a year ago for a good price! She was bone stock with low miles, I remember seeing and riding in one as a kid and have always wanted one since then. The GMC Sierra 2500 was my calling! Looks better, sounds better, and runs better than all of its other competitors!
Got my 18inch XD Grenade Wheels from you guys on 33s for my LBZ! One of the nicest upgrades to compliment my Fender Flares and the body of my truck! More upgrades (mainly performance) to be done but I love it!

I bought my lbz in late 2005(2006) model. All I did was put a Banks air cleaner, dual exhaust, and six gun tuner. It’s still rockin today in 2021. Best truck I’ve ever owned. Still have the original factory brake pads, they’re at50% wear. Had to replace front wheel bearings from running to hard in desert sand and a module switch in the 4 wheel drive. But that’s the only 2 things to ever be in the shop. What an awesome truck.

It's still an old grandpa truck krypto front lift with rear blocks, Mickey Thompson 18 inch wrapped in 33 inch Cooper hybrids... Got all the pipes forgot what ferret turbo 3 inch down off the turbo to 5 out with 6 inch tip... Sounds badass. 3 switch Willis tunes... I wanna buy an old 12v to add to the collection of nostalgic stuff... I just can't get into fords diesels

maybe this is the place to ask, maybe its not. But I own a 2006 lbz duramax and have been having a problem with it. everytime i turn my tuner up to race someone once it rolls so much coal my check engine light comes on and then it goes into limp mode. any suggestions to fix this? I thought lbz's were suppose to be fast and mines slow asf.

Well there’s many factors, you can’t just slap a 300hp tune on a stock truck and think it’s track ready doesn’t matter if it’s a lbz or not. Do you got a built transmission? Do you got a good proper tune cuz there are plenty of shitty tunes that will make your truck run like shit and was it done by a professional? Lastly are your injectors good cuz sounds like it could possibly be a injector issue or the tune itself. Cuz while rolling coal maybe cool it’s actually very bad and unhealthy for your engine and can lead to many problems like injectors for instance. I’m not a mechanic by any means but I’ve done a lot of research on Diesel truck and engines cuz I’m so fascinated by them but ya sounds like your tune or injectors

Super late, but I can relate seeing them for the first time….. I had a neighbor who had one he named it “ Big Red . I would always hear him start it up in the morning while I was waiting on the school bus and ever since I’ve fell in love and on the search to purchase my own. 😂

Meanwhile my LBZ is 100% stock. The trucks that are lifted and have wide tires look cool but I tow all the time, I go wood cutting with it and some trails those tires wouldn’t make it lol. My LBZ gets used like a real truck but to each their own. Some of your guys set ups look dope though.

The "cat eye" Silverado appearance is given more credit today than it deserves. Wouldn't rate the appearance over any year of Silverado besides '00 - '03. The 90's silverados may not be the most exciting, but they're nostalgic. Have you even seen a clean and nice stanced out '16? It's appearance is much improved and arguably more aggressive looking than a '04 - '06. This is my opinion.

Looking cross country for a minty cat eye. Doesn't matter that it's not a "new truck" considering the aftermarket products for it. Cult classic
