Hi Ida. I married a beautiful and smart Puerto Rican girl 31 years ago and we are still in love with each other. I immersed myself in the culture and have been cooking the traditional foods since. Thank you for channel. We think you are awesome and really are keeping these traditions alive. Tonight I am making for my beautiful wife your pizza empanadas. Wait!!!! I just found you on dads challenge. I have Very serious question. Boricua. That word. Is it pronounced “Bo-dee-qua”? There was a song when I was young that goes, “(I’m assuming this) boricua, morena 🎶 boricua, morena” something something. My whole life I’ve always wondered what it meant, how it was spelled, I’d look it up from time to time and could never find anything about it, I’d ask everyone who knew Spanish in my circle and nobody could tell me. Do you know if that song is saying the word in your title and what does it mean, if so ??!

Lol it's bo ri qua Boricua is from the original name(Indian) of Puerto Rico which is Boriken.So a boricua is a person from Boriken. 🥰

Those came out looking great! I use my air fryer almost daily now that the kids are not in school for pizza rolls, french fries, tater tots, hot dogs, wings, and many other things!! Definitely a great investment! I've never used Sazon Completo, what kind of flavor does it give?
It's a mix of dehydrated onions, garlic, oregano and other spices. It doesn't contain a lot of salt

i had try using bread crumb , yuck. I 'm going to try the baking powder. to see if as good you say.
Puerto Rican don't use anything , but season . I give it a shoot .
I also trying to pre heat , I never knew this .
