Another good video. I feel like I am out there fishing with you guys. (Except I don’t get to eat the salmon😀) Congrats Eric on your first salmon of the year and many more ahead. I like the buff from DHF.
Dude! Thank you for all the videos you have done this year. As well as in the past... No question you are having fun! No doubt it takes work to film, edit and post new videos.Thank you again. I really like and appreciate how you follow the same local youtube fishermen as I, exactly in our area. I have learned so much from you, Fishermans life, Diehard fishing, outdoor chef ect... All you guys! Recently got another boat and setting it up like you do. Everything forward till you need it, crab pot pools, to bleeding tubs. Not to mention fishing tips of exactly of how to and where to! May I ask what radio frequencies you use in Tamales and in the bay? New to radios and simply want to hear the chatter. Right on dude! Have no doubt I will see you out there soon. Stain.
Hi Stain, I appreciate your comment! You understand the time I put into this, and yes its all enjoyment. I will post a 20min video and people ask was that today? it takes 5-10 hours to make a video. Happy you are learning from my videos. Thats great you got a boat. for the radio 69 is what most people seem to be on. 16 is coast guard. Thanks for watching!
The weather man seems to be getting it wrong a lot lately. Nice salmon nonetheless, always nice to go home with fish. Let me know if you would like to go fishing on my boat, I would love to see how you set up your cameras.
Nice video - What was the swell that date? What would you consider safe for a small boat? I have a small 13 Boston Whaler and I have never been out in the ocean.
Your always killing it. Thanks for your video's. You made the shelter in place a little easier and I thank you for that. If you every need a fishing partner to go with let me know I would love to go out and slay some fish with you . I'll pay for bait n gas.. just saying
That's what in dealing with, THE WIND. If 900 am rolled around it's to later, the wind picks up. Good deal on salmon at least you caught one. Good job nice video
Hey chris, that was us in the blue Raider, Salty Finatic. Glad we could share the lucky depth and you guys hooked up. We had 1 other shaker and lost a fatty. Popped off at the end of its run. See you out there on the 4th of July.
@@marinh20office74 Aww very cool. Thanks for watching and making a comment! Yeah I was at 128 and 88 when you said 108 so I looked at eric and said lets keep it right where we are. Moments later the 88' went off. Thanks for sharing the depth. Yeah I will see you out there. Going again tomorrow.
Another great vid...thanks! You mentioned wind coming out of the south is not good. Could you please explain your take on wind direction and how it effects fishing in ocean, SF Bay, and Tamales Bay? I trolled for halibut in SF Bay last Sunday and wind was unusually coming out of the southwest...zero bites before getting blown off the water. Also, when fishing Tamales Bay, can you offer some names of the small towns and other shoreline landmarks where you generally set up for halibut? Not trying to spot burn, just looking for a general area to stay away from dead, nonproductive water. For example, when you launch at Miller, is the fishing better north or south of the ramp? Thanks again for piquing my halibut interest in Tamales and SF bays.
south wind is bad because it goes against the grain of the waves so to speak. waves come from NW. So NW wind travels with the waves. Wind coming from SE would be going straight into the waves causing choppy water. I am not a halibut expert in tomales. I think as the year goes deeper into the season towards fall go towards the ocean. early season south by marshall. Try and be in water 15-35 feet deep, they should be there. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment!
Nice job bro you putting in work out there nice u killing it outthere catching them Fish really nice salmon But yeah I'm Rich Rod And we going to keep on Fishing y'all alright 💯🐟🔥🎣👍 Catch You Next Time!
Yesterday the swell was insane in the afternoon I was out there limited on rockfish 8-9 ft 8-10sec weeeeee Great white north bodega yesterday Awesome sight
i flush the motor. Then just soak it down with fresh water, towel dry, then wind dry driving home. Dont be shy of the fresh water. Put everything away in the boat that you dont want wet and spray it all down. Sometimes I bring it to a self car wash that has pressure washers. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment!
Love your videos! I am local to Bay Area and learnt a lot here. QQ: can you record a setup video? Interest in your Lund impact setup as well as its limit especially if you go out in the ocean.
happy you enjoyed the video! Its a Standard Horizon HX870. Yeah i would buy the same one. Works great, simple to use. I have called the coast guard twice on it and it worked both times from 5-10 miles from shore. Thanks for watching!
Dude I wish i went fishing with you!!! great video bro. I have not fished for salmon yet except Sac River and American River, but those fish are dog food.

I loved Eric reaction he was pumped!!! That salmon was pretty deep! Too bad you got blow out before any Halibut. Hey I thinking about buying a camera, will you be doing a video on how to rig it up. I thought you said you have a special way to rig it. if something breaks off you have a safety line. If I remember correctly? I really have to get there and fish bodega and Tomales. Take care brother
