Heck yeah! Jumping off👏🎣I remember when you were in the bay in a kayak promoting ur utube channel. You turned that into sponsoring products n getting you a great boat n captain lic n living the fisherman's dream life👍Way to go Chris👏🎣✌😎
Chris, try mixing the tuna in the jar with the liquid in it instead of pouring it out. It will make the tuna much more moist flavorful. Great video with Matt and Daniel as a bonus, good job on finding Albacore in local waters.
thanks for watching. I probably wont mix the liquid in, I would think that makes it more fishy tasting? I generally pour it on the dry dog food for there treat.
really nice boat paying off already good fish feel bad for mattz he doesnt look good sea sickness no fun at all nice to see Daniel hes a good guy hope all is well thanks for the video............
I know everyone already know this, but just in case. After removing the jars from the canner, place them on a towel to cool. The lids are not completely sealed, yet. While they are cooling you will hear the lids "Pop". Once completely cool then press on the lids. You should not hear any "Clicking" sounds. Only then do you know your canning is safe to store.
Excellent Crew you’ve got there Chris. Awesome albacore fishing. Some of my favorite fishing channels on one boat. Congratulations on your Captains license. Great work. We fish out of Fort Bragg every chance we get!
been with u since u first appeared on Outdoor chef life! great content always. great gear and boat. u have turned into my favorite utuber!! keep on rockin'
If you are running the Reactor40 try the 15 min or 10 min circle pattern once you find the fish. One of the group was smart enough to figure that out this year and it’s been a game changer. Great video!
Great video as always...consider moving the cooler out of the way. Keep it up towards the front of the boat...a couple times you guys stumbled into it. Just to be safe.
Awesome video Chris can’t wait to see the upcoming bluefin trip. Sammy looked delicious. Missing one thing though a layer of original lays potato chips below the lettuce. Give it a try my fav.
Very nice. Try dropping a 5 inch anchovy color hammer right after the troll gets bit. This is how we used to do it in SD when the Albies were down here.
You installed an autopilot! Isn't it the best thing ever for those long runs and trolling? I kept asking myself if it would be worth it and after I got it I can't even imagine fishing without it again
yeah i totally agree. i dont even touch the steering wheel out there. 10 degrees at a time makes for perfect turns without lines tangling. Then when your hooked up you can go 2-3mph and heading hold just keeps everything perfectly straight.
Awesome day! Just out of curiosity, what kind of range are you getting with your Honda 250? I've also got a 25' NR with 110 gal tank but never tested the full range.
Just curious how far off the beach were you fishing? I would like to tow my 18' re up there from San Diego. I've been 35 off but that's about it for range.
I thought I was the only one who liked to untangle those nasty knots... maybe it's a sense of pride when I get a real bad one undone. How many miles did you have to travel out of Bodega to reach the albacore?
That’s how we take care of ours..make sure to cut the fillets into serving size pieces..also, you can prefreeze the fillets if you have freezer space, or wrap the pieces in cellophane prior to vacuum sealing them..this prevents the vacuum sealer from drawing the moisture out of the fillets, and compromising the seal on the package…I do this with Salmon fillets as well
This is how I make money. I didnt spend 15 hours a video with 200 videos to not take the opportunity to be able to get paid and try and support my family doing something I enjoy. The sponsors pay double or triple what you get from youtube on a single video. You should see the things I turn down. When its something that i think is good and my audience might like it i go for it. Ask yourself if you would turn down the cash? You shouldnt expect content creators to do it for free. Commercials suck I get it, but hopefully you understand. Thanks for watching

Cool idea using magnet for sterilizing lids👍
The 2ROOKIES running around looking confused!
Man I have to go buy some cans now lol looks good 👍🏻 you guys killed it
yeah canning them is a good way to do it!
Add some jalapeno to the next canning batch for some spicy tuna.
💛...who really cares about mlb or nfl or nba?...now, this is a dream team...great work guys...
lol thank you.

Great video! Where did you get the mason jars and seals from?
target
Try the collars ! They are the best part !
i bet your right, collars are good. havent grilled albies up yet. next time. thanks for watching
You also have incredible content,
If you get a video editor, you can and will get massive!
Awesome day! Just out of curiosity, what kind of range are you getting with your Honda 250? I've also got a 25' NR with 110 gal tank but never tested the full range.
we were on the water for 9-10 hours. out 40 miles or so. used like 65 gallons. factor in weight, that matters a lot. 6 people vs 3 people. there size.
@@ChrisPfish2 Thanks for the response. So you probably did well over 100 miles that day then on the 65 gallons. Good to know. Thanks Chris!
instead of vinegar,I use olive oil.
better flavor....
vinegar wasnt put inside. it was to clean the edge of the rim of the jar before sealing. Thats what I saw your supposed to do. 🤷♂🤷♂
Just curious how far off the beach were you fishing? I would like to tow my 18' re up there from San Diego. I've been 35 off but that's about it for range.
we were 40-45 miles from the launch. Thanks for watching
@@ChrisPfish2 Thank You Great video
Chris, I’m assuming you are chartering now; how do we contact to book?
contact info is in description or 30seconds into the video
When was this filmed
earlier in september
That last song in the video sounded like a straight rip off of Love you Madly by Cake
Great job finding the tuna! 420 friendly, nice I knew it!
Who are those 2 other people, they look lost
I thought I was the only one who liked to untangle those nasty knots... maybe it's a sense of pride when I get a real bad one undone. How many miles did you have to travel out of Bodega to reach the albacore?
40 miles. Thanks for watching.
All other Parts make Great Crab Bait...
100%
Keep those blood lines for crabbing!
exactly. tuna makes some of the best bait for crab
Can't you sgrinkwrap n freeze albacore?
yeah of course. your thinking that is better than canned albacore?
