- As All Hallows Eve season draws closer, here’s a wicked sharp EDC blade you can carry on those colder camping excursions you find yourself on this season.
But is it decent for someone like me with smaller sized hands?
If you’re looking at getting into bushcrafting or if you want something larger for your camping trips, check out my review of this BK18 Becker Harpoon.

This BK-18 happens to be one of my all time favourite utilities knives 🔪
Fits large hands so well and that continuous curved belly is phenomenal 🏆
Off to repack my bedding 👍🏻
The belly is a great part of it, I really liked it. I just think my hands are a little too small for the knife overall. If they made a slightly smaller version, that would be cool.
@ 🤔how about the Kizer “Harpoon Mini Fixed Blade” for size??
Other possibilities are the Kizer Muskrat anf the Brother line of knives.
the harpon is stabbing this way you can pull out of what have stabed for repeating stabing after you stab lift up on the handle then push down you'll find the blade will already be working itself out backing it's way out
Just as the whalers harpoon was designed for maximum penetration of the whale to get through the thick hide and layer of blubber. The shape of this blade on the Becker / Kabar would serve the same purpose. This knife could be classified as a Tactical / Hunter. Slashing and penetration may come into play with tactical use. Just sayin".....
Thanks for the video. I really like this knife, and I've been shopping for my first carry knife. No preferences on steel, just US made, full tang, and full grip. I like the look of the tan (or coyote brown) model.
Really cut out a lot great choices with the only USA made.
I carry a utica utk-n2 it's very old American company.
But lately ive been carrying a watchman we222 i really like 14c28n it tough with no maintenance.
The two other knives I love coldsteel SRK-C and BPS adventurer. Every knife was around $35-40.
That becker is a great knife depending on availability.
Yea it’s a great knife, not too big, not too small.
It seems like a reduced-size, heavy-duty Chef's knife to me. Which is not a bad thing, but it's sort of a slicer that's too thick for slicing? I do like that the offset of the handle gives room to your fingers when slicing/chopping. I like my BK16, but my knuckles do get in the way of some actions with that knife.
Yea it’s a great knife, it fits my boyfriend’s hand really well. I’d like it if they could make a mini version for me 🥹
