Outside living area makes all the difference in the world to me
I love how the rooms are separated. I can’t stand these kitchens practically being in the living rooms. Makes it easier to decorate too. I also love that little entry way. Makes the living room more cozy. This home is very classy and tasteful.
Finally! A design that's not an open floor plan. I dislike open kitchens. This is beautiful and I'll be saving this for future reference. The only thing I'd change is the island. i'd replace that with a counter and cabinets underneath.
I love this home, it is perfect for a senior wanting to downsize. I especially like having everything on one floor, Loft bedrooms are ridiculous, the stairs are too steep and dangerous. This is perfect.
Agreed! They had me at a real sized porch. Three 2x4s nailed side by side is a step not a porch. I like the layout & the storage options especially. I can see living in this house.
I love this..that’s all I need for my retirement home on a quiet piece of land
I dont understand all the negative Nancys in the comment section. This home is lovely
Because the entitled "Karens" of the world are used to living in excess and will never know the value of a simple, uncomplicated, uncluttered life . . .
I love everything about this house! I like having the living space and kitchen separate and love having a foyer that’s also separate from the living room. It’s perfect 👍 😊
Whoever designed this little house did a fantastic job! Very classy!
No pantry. Square off 45 degree back walls at dining area, put a pantry at one end and a back door on the other side
Knock down wall in the entryway, and between kitchen and living room. Add an on suite bathroom and walk in closet. It’s be perfect!
Cute little home but the wall between the living room and the kitchen is a deal breaker.
Just re-design it...simple.
what else would a person need....nothing...this is a great layout !!!!!!!!!!
Maybe a little more closet space?
Id put a back door in the laundry. I live in australia so most of us hang our clothes out to dry outside. Plus it would just be good to have a 2nd exit in case of emergencies. Id turn the lounge into a bedroom but smaller by moving the kitchen wall back. Then id knock through that wall diving the dining and bedroom and make it an open plan living dining because no one would use that dining space given how its cut off from the main living space.
This one is pushing perfect! For personal taste, I would change the double window in the dining area to French doors to open onto a screened porch. I love the large front porch and the living areas are great!
Add a raised fireplace hearth.
The front cover deck is amazing?
Your definition of perfect is "no hot water, no ventilation, no heating"?
White for an outside sofa?..
@@juliestephens4195 It’s not like you’re getting the furniture when you buy a blueprint for a house! 🙄
@@slipinjimmy3266 How do you know that there isn't a basement area with a hot water tank, and furnace and an AC unit outside?
YES! Love the coat and boot/shoe storage just inside the front door.
Iwish I wasn't in my 70+ age. Because I would be ordering this package today. Very nice.😘👍
I’m 70 too and I love this little house.
I'm 49 and hearing you say that lights a fire under my ass🔥. I'll be 70+ too one day, hopefully, and time goes by fast! I own the land now in the Blue Ridge Mountains and am gonna get over my fear of tackling something like this.
@@movingtorichmondva Do it & share the vid of your new home with us! 👍😊
By far the best one yet! French doors to a screened in porch would be awesome! ❤❤❤❤❤
Love the front deck. And the size.
However for practical purposes I prefer both living room and kitchen in the front, bedrooms, bath, laundry in the back.
This was almost perfect! I'd add another bathroom. Awesome home. The best I have seen thus far. I wonder how much it would cost to build.
For just the approx 33' x 33' interior: $275 - $326K (USD), depending on where you go.
How much would it cost.
There are so many things that I love about this and I have been looking for years and years. I’d love to know how to get plans, and how much it would cost to build it.
Nearly perfect
I would love to own one of these tiny houses. It has it all!. All you need for two people. Good bedroom size, bathroom, and kitchen is awesome. It looks like it has a lot of cabinets. Definitely more cabinetry than what i currently have. Indoor washer driver, awesome. Mine is in garage... You don't have to walk to far to get to the refrigerator, remember 😢its a tiny home. I love the floor plan and the porch is where i would live. Love love it!!!!
Отличный проект, все что нужно есть.
This is a perfect home for a young couple or empty nesters!
Had it had a second bath and a pantry it would’ve be perfect
The mud room is a great touch. Any home I live in has to have a covered space. This one is perfect depending on what time of day the porch is usable. The kitchen is enormous! The fridge is forever away from the stove. I’d need track shoes. Pretty home.
So cute but I would flip the bathroom and laundry room so I could have access to the bathroom from the bedroom (which I would use as the master). Adding patio doors off the kitchen with another covered space would be amazing - I would add a catio for the kitties to access as well off the kitchen. Last, I would open the wall from the livingroom a bit more into the kitchen to have a more open concept.
Beautiful just extend the island out so the island it functional to sit at.
Love it. Just for me and hubby and our little shitzu.
VERY VERY BEAUTIFUL ❤️
I really like this, love the larger kitchen, it is totally workable. Probably the only thing I might change would be that front porch. I would just have the center area going to the door, and would rather have a nice deck off the back of the kitchen.
Ideal for a retired couple. One floor, make it all hardwood floors and if tile floors on baths, then heated with timers. :-) OH! And it does need a two car garage with a breeze way to house.
Yes for me on this perfect little house.
Nice cozy, warm aesthetic. So nice not to see cold, white paint everywhere. The wall colour and wood accents make this a home I’d want to spend time inside on a rainy day!
Thank you.
@@TMStudio68. How may we get info? Thanks in advance.
I love it so much but I wish a half bath could be incorporated maybe into the laundry room.
I love it, I don't think I'd change a thing. I was concerned there was no pantry, but so much extra cupboard space in laundry room helps. ❤
I'd like a Jack and Jill Bathrooom...no access from within either bedroom, or a 2-2 with a master suite set-up, otherwise a really great use of space,
Beautiful home. Something to keep in mind when building a home is that for resale purposes, each state has a definition of what specifications a bed room must have in order to be listed as a bedroom. The armoires in this home may meet the requirements for a closet but they may not as well. Smart to keep resale in mind regardless of what your intentions are for living in the house.
The deep porch is lovely. Over all this is a really nice design, but it would be better if it had an additional half bath. I like to cook but it would give up some kitchen floor space for that.
Yes, I agree with you. The house is absolutely great, but it misses an individual WC and some type of separate storage space. If one is ready to compromise, the individual WC (1m2) can be put at the end of the laundry room and the storage space can be gained out of a kitchen which is way too large for the size of this house, particularly the Island which is unnecessary luxury these days. I also agree with a previous comment that it would be nice for European viewers to have measurements in meters, which is the system used by 90% of the world.
I would change the bath/laundry by putting a wall between the toilet & shower. Put a pocket door from the bedroom into the laundry room & open the shower at the end, so if I wind up in a wheelchair i could roll straight in from my bedroom to my en-suite bathroom.
Also put a wall in right where the little sink cabinet is placed, remove all of that, & put a W/D in that space. That gives a 1/2 bath in place still opening to the house, with the laundry closet next to it, & a private bathroom access from the owner's bedroom.
Sorry if this doesn't make sense, but it looked to be the best way to accomplish all 3 things I'd change when looking at the floorplan.
Gorgeous place - thoughtful space at the entrance for wet outerwear, boots, shoes etc. This is often overlooked. Agree re extending island edge to accommodate stools.
A general observation about the trend of putting TVs above mantles. I don’t get it - the viewing angle is nuts. My vote is that art, collectables, even bookshelves go there, not screens.
its perfect fir me
I like this layout very much but cannot tell where the hot water heater and furnace go? The circuit breaker box?
Beautiful.
I like the flow of this house. Everything you need beautifully arranged. But the one thing i would prefer is for the bathroom, laundry and kitchen to be on one side. It seems like it would be a better idea to have plumbing on one side. Fewer lines to cause issues under the house and less expensive to repair? I realize it messes with the flow, size, and potential privacy of the back bedroom.
This is a nice sized house. Nicely designed. There’s a few things I’d change like opening up the entry to the kitchen/dining room and flipping the bathroom and laundry.
I was surprised that there is no back door. I agree with others, I’d put French doors in the dining area. This is one of my favorite plans so far. Mostly because of the porch. 😍. Maybe I’d put more storage in the laundry room. I’d rather storage than a sink.
The infinity picture in the 1st bedroom is a really good concept for a small room. A bigger one would be really cool!💙
Fabulous! I would customize it a bit to my own needs such as I wouldn't need a whole laundry room just for one person. I'd just need a closet space for washer & dryer. I'd somehow try to fit in a study/office space. Love this.
WOW !!!
KOBITALOY !!!
SO LOVING !!!
SO CHARMING !! "
This is almost perfect. I love this floor plan.
Heart melting is the word for those houses I really love and enjoy watching Thanks for sharing
Perfect small house plan, love this!
Sublime maison !!! J'adore 💕 totalement !!!💚💚💚💚
I absolutely loved this home
Cute home! ❤
It's got a deep sink in laundry room - Yay! The bath needs a tub and a different cabinet for storage - not liking the open shelves. The center island countertop needs to be extended a bit for knee space. Of course, the back needs a deck, but otherwise, I could live here. Great job!
Not a great bathroom or kitchen here. Needs some redesign. Pretty though.
Perfect! ❤
Hey Melinda ❤❤❤
Love the fireplace
I like this one I would need another bathroom and all doorways 36 ADA for me at my age. 😊
This is so pretty. The outdoor space is super nice, but it would be perfect if it wrapped around the entire perimeter of the home.
The indoor space is very nice. I don't prefer a wood burning fireplace in such a small space because the heat is not evenly distributed throughout the home. It generally stays in the room where it's situated and gets far too hot in that space. Anyway, WOW, that kitchen is well designed, efficient, has good storage, and is really adorable. Bedrooms are nice but could use more closet space and a bit less "floor space." I like the laundry room as it's efficient with decent storage and hanging/folding space. That being said, I'd make necessary room for a top loading washing machine because I don't like front loaders. The one true contention in this home is that one bathroom with no bathtub! Sorry, but tubs are important to me personally.
Otherwise, it's a super nice design!
Thank you. ❤
Nice but the wrap around costs a lot more.
I would love this home! I would make it into a 1 bedroom and add a large master bedroom and make a half bathroom for guest.
Things I would change to make this my home...
1st The hanging light in the living room to a ceiling fan.
2nd Fire place is a huge NO for me, hate the smell of wood burning.
3rd Not a huge fan of the white countertops.
4th Needs a place for a microwave.
5th washer/dryer needs to be raised...I'm old and tall.
6th ~2nd bathroom off the livingroom make the laundry room and 2nd bathroom one large combined area. Take the sink out of laundryroom for the doorway to conjoin both rooms.
7th add a breezeway to the garage.
yeah if those changes were made I could see me living out my golden year with the hubby ...plop it on a couple acreas of land
Nicely done. Easy to adjust, modify & adapt in a variety of ways.
I would put the two windows together as a double window (or add one for a triple window) in the first bedroom that was featured. This would provide a more expansive, panoramic view. Across from that, on the opposite wall, one might consider mirrors arranged & framed to look like another window, to reflect the real windows & light.
THANK YOU for sharing this wonderful Tiny House with us.
Very Grateful 👏🏻👍🏻🙏🏻❤️🙋🏻♀️🇦🇺
My farm needs one of these ❤❤
Very nice and beautiful ❤️ 😍 🤩 👌 Thank you ❤️ Subscribed! New friend ❤️
This house is absolutely stunning.
I love the big porch, fireplace, and spacious rooms. The black design on the windows is beautiful.
I dont see any closets, othr wise very pretty
I like the design of this home love the large front porch I’d need it to be about 1400 sq ft with more space for storage larger bedrooms and a large back porch or deck
I mostly love this little house! The front elevation and porch are gorgeous. And kudos on making a decent entry way. Many small houses seem to skip this feature, which I think is essential for climate control and mental/social transitioning from public to family spaces.
Personally, I have zero interest in a fire place and I think the television is too high. I also question what the heat would do to the longevity of the electronics. If I were designing this for myself, I'd use that space for cupboards to hold all our board games, puzzles, and things for the grandkids to play with when they visit.
Sadly, I have to give a big no to stools beside a kitchen island that has zero knee space. Ditto that rectangular table whose corners would inflict hip bruises on a regular basis. I'd go with dedicating the island to storage and prep space on the cook's side and table settings and buffet service area on the table side. I'd also want the island a bit narrower to allow more floor area for a generous sized dining table that is round or oval.
The laundry room is nice, but where is anyone going to keep cleaning supplies? I suggest you lengthen the counter over the washer/dryer and put the sink/clothes rod there. That would leave a tall, deep space in the corner by the door for mop, broom, bucket, vacuum cleaner, cleaning rags, polish, step stool, etc. etc.
I'm bewildered why the bath and laundry appliances aren't on the same wall. Wouldn't it be easier to plumb them that way? Flipping the toilet and sink would also allow enough wall room to put a pocket door into the bathroom. I passed out behind a bathroom door and my family had a terrible time getting to me, because my body was blocking the door. We also found that pocket doors are easier to open and close for people who are using walkers or crutches, which happens even to the healthiest of us at times.
The bathroom just needs rethinking. People need cabinet space for toiletries, medicines, towels, TP. The sink looks hard to clean. And And what is going on underneath the sink? I'd also ditch the glass shower wall. They're horrible to keep clean and offer zero privacy when one family member really NEEDS to use the toilet before somebody else is done bathing.
And since this is the type of home that empty nesters might want to retire to, I think handicapped accessibility should be considered. E.g., doors and turn around space that can handle a wheelchair, plus handicapped accessible tub/shower with hand rails. I was pleased to notice that the front entry would be very easy to ramp, which is a big plus.
Lovel, love the neutral color tones and the porch. Oh, the porch!
How do I get the floor plan? My husband and I love this it's perfect.
Nice though I would put porch in the the back and definitely add an extra bathroom have master it own on suite and probably make a mud room for my dogs..lol
What a handsome little home. I love the combined entry/storage hall. I might change a few details like opening the wall between the kitchen and living .. maybe install a buffet/pass thru there; and convert the kitchen counter space to a galley along one wall. Otherwise it's well thot out and spacious.
Your homes are very nice. I would prefer a one bedroom home, with a larger kitchen. I also don't see any prices.
Excellent use of space.
Cute, cozy home, but take out the bar stools. There is nowhere to put your knees/feet at that island.
I'd just extend the island countertop out a little bit so the seats on the stools can slide under it.
Right
Simply and perfect. Well done 😍
Love this house but there’s no pantry area for food storage, maybe move the plant and do floor to upper level shelves?
Such a cute cozy home.
Want a beautiful cozy home
Bellísima.❤
I need one of these
So lovely @ cozy ❤
I agree, bar stools are out of place, plus there is a table with chairs.
LOVE this!!!! I want one!!!
So perfect big wow!!!
Perfect ! So pretty !
Just beautiful!❤
Love this home❤❤❤
What size is this? Adorable!
I appreciate the floor plan with the dimensions. Thank you.
Wow lovely!
Lovery it ...I would change 2 things , sliding glass doors in the dining area , and a bath tube instead of the' shower.
I was kind of wishing that the music would turn into an instrumental song of "Youth" by Daughter. The house is really nice. Good job.
Wow.. so much potential avoided for sake of a dysfunctional kitchen..learn the triangle and galley concept...make the living room live !!!
Love this layout.
Omg the kitchen is lovely
Perfect ❤ I would put a door in the laundry for clothesline access
Looks perfect to me, well done!
