Built on 32ft x 32ft of land, the house offers plenty of space for comfort and relaxation. The first floor features a master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, a living room, a kitchen, a dining room and a laundry room. The second floor consists of two bedrooms and another bathroom. This cottage house is the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of city life and enjoy some peace and tranquility surrounded by nature.

Kitchen could use more upper cabinets and where the plant is sitting on the floor beside the refrigerator that could have a cabinet built as tall as the refrigerator area for additional space
This house isn't small; it's quite spacious. The only change in the plan might be to swap the powder room and the shower in the downstairs bathroom to give a little more privacy to guests, and I might want to fudge two more feet in the front entryway for a coat closet. I like the two front-facing nooks upstairs, maybe to use for a desk or a quiet reading space. Otherwise, this plan seems to provide comfortable and convenient living, one of the best in this series.

I say swap the powder and laundry rooms. With the laundry room where the powder room was, the master bed/bath can have a direct access point by getting rid of the shower and just doing a simple tub/shower combo unit instead.

For me, Master bedroom, powder room, closet in downstairs will change to 2 bedroom with toilet in the centre.
Upstairs will be master bedroom and office space. Its like privacy for the owner..
In the Kitchen at least have small island table for prepping meals...
Overall the layout fantastic
Very nice. The only thing I would change is to ditch the tub in the master bath and make a larger shower and a linen closet.
This house is as good as it gets. Great design, natural traffic flow. Fantastic layout. Wonderful use of space in a small footprint. Sophisticated style. Can't say enough good things about this one. Wow. Well done.

This home design is fantastic. I love the layout with the pantry off the kitchen and laundry off the porch and across from the bedroom. It is just perfect in so many ways. I like the front entryway and the way the stairs are situated. The flow is beautiful.
Needs a carport on the side connected to the house.
This is the closest to perfect 3 bed plan I've seen recently. I really like the separation of the living room from the kitchen and dining area. The archways add a lot of character. The only change I would make is to put a real laundry sink in with the washer and dryer. You've got to have something big enough to rinse out or soak items. A stowaway folding board would also be nice. Good job overall.

This is one of the best ones i have seen. love the fireplace, and the only thing i would change would be to have a medicine cabinet instead of just mirrors above the bathroom sinks. more storage that way. lovely!!! maybe a little larger stoop on the fireplace base to have a bucket for spare wood for the fire. perhaps larger { taller higher} storage nooks where the nooks are now, and not as deep windows for storage of extra blankets, pillows etc.
This would be a soothing and relaxing home to come home too.

Beautiful home design makes this layout so functional and spacious. My personal preference changes would be to replace the master tub with a larger shower. Also, a private toilet closet in the master bath whenever space permits in these designs. I would add to the upstairs to have a triple window dormer for more space setup as a small work office area.

I would add little balconies that you could step out onto in those two rear windows on the second floor.
So far one of my favorite 😍 very excellent use of space and quite a modern / traditional look ❤ everything that you can need is well organized
My two cents is that 1. The entry could be a few feet deeper and be open to both the dining and living areas by also doing away with the hallway behind the wall and therefore allowing for a larger pantry or an additional closet; 2. The master bath is rather cluttered: its small footprint really doesn’t allow for both a tub and a shower… let alone a corner tub. If having both is a must, put the powder room in the new room created behind the entry and just have a much larger space for the master.
Other than that, this is a nice and fairly well executed design with good use of space that’s not often represented on similar channels. Bueno.

I love the kitchen and dining area being separate from the living room! Love the entire layout and design of the home!! Absolutely LOVE the dormers with the sitting area!! How does someone build a home like this??

As a few others have pointed out: change the layout of the powder room and master bath. This way your guests/family don't have hear the toilet flushing!

Could utilize kitchen and laundry space better. It's great it has usable sized front and back porches.

Very nice home; appreciate the spacious closets in the upstairs bedrooms. Only change I might make is remove the tub from the master's suite.

You really nailed it with this one. Out of a base of 10m x 10m = 100m2, this is the best usage of a double floor house I have seen so far over hundreds of videos. Because, for a change, the attic is used for maximum, comfortable space and utility. All in all, the house distinguishes itself by top "classical" style inside and outside, while keeping it simple. Bravo.

Love the outside colors on the house. I get more of a cottage feel for this house and feel that the bathrooms are too modern, and not a fan of a garden tub either. I liked that the kitchen wasn't open to the living room. Didn't care for the archways too.

There’s never enough hooks or rails to hang towels, also virtually no bathroom storage. A good space is needed for fresh towels, extra soaps, toothpaste etc also bandages, pills, and other necessities.

Love the entry. The flooring should be more durable at both front and back doors, but that is a minor quibble. There is no need for both a full bath and an en suite on the main floor. That is wasting space and adding extra cost. With a footprint this large, there is no reason for needing a bedroom on the ground floor at all. There is space for a proper dining room and a proper kitchen that includes a seating area. Upstairs make it a proper full floor and more than enough room plus making it easier, hence less expensive, to get proper insulation in the roof for energy efficiency. Since you are putting in knee walls anyway and having to plaster the sloping walls, the cost of raising the walls to full 8 feet is going to be largely offset by the lower cost of framing, trimming, and plastering the spaces as shown. Increasing costs to build while reducing living space is hardly good design

I would swap the 1st floor powder room and the laundry room. It feels intrusive to have a bathroom so close to the living room. Having the laundry room there can also allow the master bath direct access as well as from the main hall. Just have to get rid of the shower and do a tub/shower combo instead. Also no to the skylight...i just hate skylights lol.
Keep your guests out of the family only areas of your home. If they don't have an excuse to go deeper towards the stairs or the master suite you know they are being nosy. You can do a lot of things to isolate noise and smells from the powder room.

Anyone else notice the huge missed opportunity behind the staircase could have been basement access or another WC or storage.
He did utilize the space as the kitchen pantry.
@@notbill08 Exactly. The truth is the further in you go the more inconvenient the space is to use. Also, you want as much of that space sealed up to slow the spread of a fire from your down stairs by not gifting a fire a path through one of the main point of egress from the two upstairs bedrooms.
